Umm so actually, I feel like I already know what the king looks like base off of just his voice alone. the question is, , will he just have his old memories like lucid dreams, also I think the ML also has ties to the past somehow. Maybe he loved her from a distance or they liked each other but she chose to marry up i.e the king?

it's really off to a great start. I just sincerely hope they keep up the pacing. That seems to always be an issue with these shows. Let's avoid the love triangle and keep them bickering. let's not soften her personality or make her lose her accent and quirk. If they can do all that with a great story i'm sure this will be a hit.

And this is exactly why I said you’re a dunce…. 1. i never once criticized the drama 2. I’m watching the genre i want to watch, romance. 3. I’ve been a avid Asian drama watcher since like 2010, I know romance can be portrayed seamlessly without kiss scenes/steamy scenes I’ve seen this happen so many times HOWEVER that’s not the case with this actor, he just doesn’t deliver that therefore he should be doing other genres since he’s not a bad actor

The point of the matter is not wanting to kiss your FL is fine. Not wanting to have much skinship is also fine. But when you read the synopsis of a lot of his show, the romance aspect just does not add up. Like give us something beyond kissing and skinship. Let me see your love from your eyes and the way your body react when she’s in a room with you. He simply just doesn’t give anything. And it’s frustrating

First of all Never asked or even wanted steamy scenes. Second of all it would be quite odd for me to expect that of an Asian show especially a Chinese one. The whole point is Romance dramas should have romance innit. Again I’ve said it countless of times there are several other romance dramas that doesn’t have a lot of skinship yet the romance and yearning is so very much loud.

My comment had nothing to do with steamy scenes or kiss scenes. There are certain requirements needed for a romance drama and often times he simply does not meet/complete them. They’re a lot of shows that don’t have kiss scenes in them yet the romance is felt and is just as loud, IT IS NOT SO WITH ANY OF HIS SHOWS. There’s only one specific reason for that. that’s my whole point I made in my comment.

What kind of relationship do you know where the partners aren’t intimate with eachother at atleast once? Unless ofcourse they’re asexual it’s very common to want to see couples do couples things and yeah they’re lots of romance dramas without kiss scenes or little to none like love like galaxy, sword and brocade just to name a few i can remember rn but in those other shows the yearning is felt and it fits well into those shows. For Allen’s they keep doing fake angles as to make it seem like they’re doing something and that in itself makes its painfully obvious since we know what the actor is like.
