are you perhaps unloved at home? This behavior can only come from a neglected child who constantly seeks validation from people who aren't interested in hearing from them.
Girl i l quite literally do not care... I'm not watching a show base on popularity of an actress. If I like the synopsis or trailer then I'll watch regardless of who the leads are. I'm not missing anything. If you wanna support untalented people just because you like them or they're popular? be my guess, that's your prerogative, just leave me out of it. LEAVE ME ALONE!
Bro....I'm not a fan of Hou Minghao or any specific actor for that matter. I support shows base on script and talented acting and writing. Unlike you, I won't support a specific project just to see a specific actor or actress.
Nobody asked you to share my opinion....Literally leave me alone!
I can see both their sides. They are both traumatized people who have paid dearly for the past. And I don’t…
A’Yao trust issues didn’t appear out of the blues. It came from people betraying and lying to him. She also manipulated and lied to him. Overall i sympathize with her more than anybody else cause early on in the show i predicted she might’ve always been on the mountain on her own and thats why she created all those hallucinations to keep her company However in this specific situation I blame her more than him and believe his attitude towards her is valid. Though he doesn’t necessarily blame her.
I can see both their sides. They are both traumatized people who have paid dearly for the past. And I don’t…
In this specific situation the only true victim is A’Yao. Because A’Li mother lost the edict or rather got it taken away from her a whole entire family was massacred and the treatment of A’Yao legs were delayed for over six months. Yes im saying he’s the only victim because of 1. How she lost the edict. In my opinion Ye Li’s mother was very careless in her ways knowing she’s carrying something so important. There were many unfaltering officials she could’ve taken it to and she would have no problem getting an audience since her father had all the accolades to be shown respect m. 2. This careless action of hers cause several other deaths including soldiers and even people from the east palace. Ion know but giving the edict to your daughter and forcing her into a closet in a small room that you’re also in knowing they’ll come to search was really stupid and upset. She should’ve atleast push Ye li through the window with it with instructions to deliver it or hide it somewhere. Also seeing how fast they knew she had it make me assume she carelessly told them or she wasn’t careful enough about her surroundings and she was followed. Again, given the fact that the edict was the only thing possible that could rescue prince ding, his family and several other soldiers from treason; I believe she should’ve handled the edict with way more secrecy. She was even running with it openly. Ofc people are gonna know you have it and trace you down for it.
I think one of the main criticisms is that while she spent years studying how to fix his legs and spared no expense…
This is all a lie btw. He investigated her background and her time at Lisha academy and that’s how he found out she came down the mountain alone despite her saying she left with her maid. The bite marks on her arm, he gave her a cream to help improve the scar and even made sure she would never see a monkey in the city again by paying off all the performers who used monkeys in their play. He has and is very attentive to her and spared no effort to make sure she wasn’t lonely and speaking to “Qin shaung”. She was the one who wasn’t open to him and kept lying about stuff. There’s absolutely no justification for what her family did to his when you think about it from his perspective. The whole point of the matter is his brother place his and many others lives on the line by telling Ye Li’s mother where the edict was I hopes she’s successfully clear their name but she ended up losing it to her own husband she’s pitiful but in this case her feelings are hardly valid when you think about the domino effect that one action cause for the soldiers under Prince Ding and all his other family members. They’re both victims, both have very painful memories but he or his family didn’t do anything to hurt her while she continuously lie and manipulate him regardless of what her reasons were so yes he’s a way bigger victim in the situation AT HAND. therefore his reaction was completely understandable and Valid. Expecting him to instantly forgive her or want to be in the same space as her after learning the truth is selfish and unrealistic. He didn’t even blame her but at the same time the way she explained why she married him and what happen in the past is enough to repulse anybody. His reaction was VALID!
I really HATE how no one is seeing things from A’Yao perspective. He literally lost his whole entire family because of Ye Li’s mother’s mistake. He even lost his ability to walk too. Yes she helped him regain his mobility but he’s still without his brother and all his other family members that died. It’s obvious he himself doesn’t even blame her that much but he’s obviously very hurt and deserves to express himself whichever way he sees fit. It would be very hard for me to stay married to someone if I found out they marry and heal me out of guilt/repayment regardless if we’ve both grew to like eachother. (I’m aware she liked him at first sight but her main purpose for the marriage was to make up for her mother mistake and keep the promise she made to the previous Prince Ding). I’d find it even harder to stay married if I found out the reason for my family being massacred was because my wife direct family hid the edict and the person it was entrusted to was her mother and she somehow had it snatch away. His feelings are also very much valid.
Feng Huang drugged and raped Zhang Qian Jun / "Little Taoist" and attempted to drug rape Zhang Hai Lou. She also drugged and raped several other unknown characters. The most disgusting thing is they had her marry the Little Taoist. As if it's romantic for a victim to marry his rapist.
10/10 out of ten MAIN story. With 10/10 performance from Zhang Xincheng, Ding Yuxi and Jiang Peiyao. Great performance from the side characters and villains as well. However I cannot give this show a 10 no matter how good it is. THEY SHOULD'VE NEVER HAD A LEAD CHARACTER RAPE ANOTHER ONE THEN LATER HAD THEM MARRY EACHOTHER. that aspect of the show was truly disgusting and nauseating and they shouldn't have added it since it brought nothing to the main plot. They simply wanted to be disgusting. Though I've finished, I would never recommend or even rewatch a single episode. Everybody on the writing and production team that signed off on those scenes need to be put in jail. It was truly repulsive predatory of them.
I’m a platoon leader and you’re choosing to step on my back to mount your horse infront of my subordinates???? Oh no baby I would’ve had no choice but to maze you. You even have me tending to the horses when I’m battalion commander? Ion know I would’ve killed him and everybody that saw being taken advantage of. Mo Yun Gao is a better person than me, I would’ve started being wicked way earlier😭💀
I didn't like her from the start. She was a bandit. They were all bandits... She was their Chief!
being a bandit isn't all that bad when you think of the fact that some of them or people who lost their home and lands to the local government when they couldn't pay tax. Not all bandits are always portrayed as bad some of them have circumstances.
she's jsut a nasty rapist. there's no excuse for that while one can find several reasons why they became a bandit
Fr, anytime after with her and 'little Taoist ' i skipped those scenes cause after wha she did i no longer liked…
just eww. I'm gagging bad. Had the roles were reverse they wouldn't have recorded it or kept it in cause they know how people would react to see a victim marry her rapist. But since in this case the victim is a man and ofcourse many beleive men cannot be raped (which btw they're illustrating here) then it's fine. You really don't understand how hot my blood is from boiling when she had the audacity to ask him to take responsibility for her the day after she raped him.
It hurts me to see there's no outage or backlash about this. it's try disgusting.
why is everyone looking over the fact that Feng Huang is a rapist....Several times men visit the inn so they could acquire the token and several times half of them were drugged and killed while the other half was drugged and taken to her to sleep with.....Very weird storyline and I simply cannot look pass it.
I will not argue with anybody that things drugging someone, cleaning them up then wrapping them in a blanket to then be taken to a unknown bedroom/ place where a skimpily dressed girl awaits you with even knock out incense burning isn't attempted rape. If you think otherwise please go and slap your mama and papa for raising you wrong and if they dead go piss on they grave. Also may they rest in shit for raising an asshole. thank ya!
She's just repulsive through and through. she even does the same thing to the "little Taoist". Is it really hard for her to just use her words and accept rejection like a normal person without having to drug them and force herself on them without given them the option to refuse her? YUCK! and the fact the show didn't address by having a character calling out her action it makes it even more disgusting. It makes it seems normal and okay; like men will always be okay with women sexual advances.
rewatching and I honestly don't think anybody gets this show like I do. everybody keeps ignoring the clear signs of you is in the wrong simple because they cannot believe there could be such a drama that doesn't go the typical route and actually focuses on victims of the other gender instead of the same generic ones.
For such a well written 13 episodes the final episode was severely underwhelming. It wasn't just underwhelming it was bad, terrible even.....I'm exaggerating a bit but it was genuinely underwhelming.
I know that Ex-fiancé was bad news from the jump. I would not be surprise if she deliberately planned everything to get into the Ding Mansion so she's able to move around freely in and outside to get whatever she wants done without the watchful eyes of the people from Cangbei, either that or she's under order from them or someone from Dachu. Hell she may even be a mole in that princess faction. All I know she has an agenda feigning fragility and innocence.
I really feel for Qin Cang though I strongly believe that it's his own foolishness that lead to his ultimate demise. He knew from the very beginning he was being used, he literally could see he was a pawn. At the same time I still feel a bit of sympathy given the fact he knowingly place himself in harms way hoping that this might be the day his father notices and openly claim him like his other brother. He must feel extremely terrible knowing seeing that his brother is referred to as young master while he's nothing but a guard. I also think that's why there was so much hostility between the brothers. Tian Yang wanted Qin Cang attention and Qin Cang wanted acceptance from the Marquis.
I have so many questions about the Dowager Empress and the Dowager Consort and the relationship they both have with the Marquis. They're both obviously terrible people in their own way but at the same time, I don't think they're as ruthless as Muyang. I kind of understand why they're tolerating him since he knows alot and also gets all the dirty jobs done but I also can't help but wonder if these people are stupid; none of them have realize that they're being led by him and only have control ONLY in name. He does whatever he wants then goes to beg for forgiveness even raising his voice . Like he's no longer acting on order and his solely doing his own thing. He's out of control and has already turn on them. They'll be dead or in great danger when they decide to keep him in check.
Ya’ll on my ass cause I said cdramas trying to push pseudocest into every damn drama is weird…. Are ya’ll not realizing how frequent this has now become? Oh we are in the TRENCHES now!!!
EDIT: it has been brought to my attention that several of you grown ass adults can’t read with comprehension. Will not elaborate further.
Talking bout “forbidden love” girl make them be anything but fake siblings, distant cousins, step-siblings or in laws like DAMN. It’s literally not that hard.
And this isn’t in relation to this very specific show I’m speaking in general about any and all the dramas that introduce such themes even JUST A LIL BIT!. It’s very very weird and feed into incest fetishizing
