Ya'll search the actor Kwak Jung Wook. He and Ju Yeon U look so much alike omg. I saw him in guest/support roles in a few dramas and kept wondering why he seemed so familiar. Turns out he reminded me of an actor I use to know. They could totally play brothers or perhaps twins.

It's more like after she and her family fell from grace and she became a servant—she still kept her same dignified aura, even if now she's below class. It's likely that she will be put in specific situations/scenarios that would be dead ends for anybody else, but somehow she manages to rise above it. Which will allow her to gain respect from the ML and catch his attention.

I don't think she will be groveling at his feet or working towards getting him back. And while they end up together, it'll be after he notices her and her strengths and vigor, and most likely after she learns why he abandoned her in the first place, which, BTW, probably won't be his fault.

This also comes after the fact of her family being accused of fucking TREASON. If both families weren't involved through friendship or distant family ties, canceling a marriage proposal after such an ordeal is not only justifiable but also quite normal.

Like, who the hell will want to knowingly be associated with a family that's gonna be killed or exiled because they made an attempt at the crown? Be very serious right now!

I’m so happy and excited to see this show air. Not only are both the FL and ML actors extremely HAWT; but their acting is also exceptional/Superb.

I couldn’t imagine a more versatile actress than (well I can actually) to portray such an intricate FL character like Shen Jia Lan than Seven Tang. The ML, Liu Xie Yi also does very well with his portrayals of morally ambiguous characters.

I really hope they don’t mess this up; I already know the acting will be exceptional I’m most worried about production and directing. With stories like this they always somehow manage to mess it up with either editing or making stupid changes from the original version.

which is exactly the issue. We should be watching a modern drama and seeing the same republican/historical traits in the character. I don't even think that's the right way to say it but anyways; I think because the character in LSIN1970s was suppose to come off as flat with her emotions well hidden she successfully pulled off the performance because she barely had to anything extra(it was the same thing in the guilty i think) however here it's really different(and in the legend of magnate too). This character is full of depth and explosive expressions, she's doing none of that which is making it hard to watch or believe her portrayal of flora.

So there’s a difference between saying “I personally like this performance more” and saying “this performance meets or fails to meet established criteria used to evaluate acting.” The first is purely subjective. The second is an evaluation based on observable criteria.

That’s literally what I’m doing with Sun Qian.(Which btw I am not underqualified to do, since you asked) I’m not saying she’s a bad actress simply because I don’t like her acting style. I’m comparing her performance against the criteria used to assess acting quality and concluding that, based on those criteria, she falls short.

Showing me where my analysis is wrong, will also proof that my statement being an objective fact is also wrong. Point to the performance, identify the criterion, and explain how she demonstrates it. If you can do that, then you have grounds to challenge my conclusion. Simply saying “acting is subjective” doesn’t actually address the analysis I made or the statement you're claiming to be untrue.

Because if we're going to dismiss any critical assessment as “just an opinion” simply because art is subjective, then there would be no basis for professional acting critique in the first place. Even educational and professional frameworks use specific criteria to assess performance. subjectivity of art ≠ subjectivity of every criterion used to evaluate the art.
