I hope no one takes this the wrong way and think I'm hating but.....I've seen better shows... I'm not saying there's anything wrong or the story is bad or anything....I'm just saying it's nothing special. I've watched so many dramas over the years so it's really hard for me to be impress unless the concept of the plot is fresh.

It's still a very great watch at least better than the rubbish they've been releasing last year and early this year but it's nothing exceptional I haven't seen before. I just hope they remain consistent and not fall off towards the end like Fated Hearts did.

The only thing I find annoying so far is how long it's taking for her to find out his real identity(I'm ep 24) and the princess Royal shamelessly chasing Gongsun; maybe he's pretending to be uninterested in her but I don't care about that I just hate the fact she's chasing after a man who isn't showing her any interest then she acts victimized and cry when turn down. All she's doing is just creating trouble for everybody. She's one more mouth to feed and one more pawn to take hostage and having to rescue.

I must say though I really love how thorough and consistent they're about Female lead being strong and skilled in fighting. Her act of being imposing really sells. Her fighting scenes are believable and she really gives off that killing aura when needed. I've only ever seen such performance from one other FL in cdramaland. This is the only thing I can say sets it apart from everything else I've watched.

Bruh wrap this rubbish up. never let these directors or screenwriters near a script again. it's as if they're writing as they go....Meaning directly on set while filming. "Oh, how can we justify this character behavior? let's turn her husband into an abuser...."Oh can we give FL a new love interest that will be sweet and kind to her and always priortize her very need Howver she won't end up with him cause that's not the pick for ML?" Let's have his family force his hand...etc etc. Like this is brain rot and not in a good way. No time was spent to review and make sure the script add up and most of all make sense. Just 30 episodes of straight garbage. I'm actually impressed.

I’ve already said all of this. It’s obvious. She had already ran away almost right after she gave birth and started cheating that’s before the suppose abuse started. It’s quite obvious that they wrote off Liu Zhu character as an abuser so she gets a pass and pity.

I can't begin to express how immensely backwards this show is. Not once did Wangzi reprimand Qian Qian nor did she tell her how wrong she was for what she did to Lui Zhu. I need ya'll to understand I am by no means defending an abuser and I DO NOT think Liu Zhu is a good person, he's okay at best. but this needs to be said.
 
Every single brutal reaction Lui Zhu has had against Qian Qian was her own fault for provoking him from running her mouth knowing that she's in the wrong. Then FWZ has the nerve to ask him what he did wrong? and tell him to take care of Dahu and not let him blame Qian? Please give me a fuxking break....She wasn't wrong when she approached him because he had land and money she could use to her advantage to take care of her sick mother? She wasn't wrong when she left her newborn son and husband so she could come to Shenzhen and be a ho? (Yes, as a matter of fact I am $lut$haming her.) Was she not wrong for doing all of this AND MORE btw. 

To top it all off she looked that man dead in his face and said all of this about how she wasn't loyal to him and whatnot. I am by no means saying she deserves to be hit, and 100% understand that his family are a bunch of misogynistic assholes that wanted to use her for a baby machine. I get it and I too might've ran away. But using logic isn't this her own fault? she literally approached him after he aggressively hugged FWZ which in many cases could be seen as assault and soon after got pregnant. 

None of her actions were done out of love; she literally did all of that so she could take his money. When the benefits started to run dry and she began to grow bored of pretending she likes him she ran; she ran and abandoned both him and the young child. No motherly instinct, no gratitude, no nothing. and the worst thing about all this is she didn't move back with the girls so she could learn business and have a better life...no no no she abandoned her child and ran straight for the streets. straight into the arms of married men all because they had money. 

They're trying to paint it to seem as if she left cause his family is abusive yeah that's like less than 1% of why she bailed. That girl wants to sleep around for money that's why she left. If she was truly being wronged to an unbearable degree in her matrimonial home she would've run to her friends to complain about it, not run to sleep with married men.

Even a blind man could tell they wrote in Zhu being abusive so that they could justify Qian Qian promiscuity. What they fail to realize though is the contrast between the real character and the abusive one they wrote in. It's plain as day all he wants his the family to be back together and his son to have his mother. But sure

 Fang Wang zi morals need to be put in check, she knows to judge and treat all the wrong people harshly when she literally has that redacted in her camp. I just can't get over how they're making it seem as if Liu Zhu is the ONLY and greatest evil here. Even the people tell you not to provoke people to wrath and that's exactly what she did and kept doing yet she faces no repercussions and even gets treated like the victim. 

He is an absolute idiot who has no backbone and can easily be led but we all know he did not deserve what the writers did to him. They wrote that girl to provoke him and push him to the edge then spun it to make him an abusive attempted murder. ah okay...Like WHY ARE YOU MAKING ME TAKE A MAN SIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!

The actors did a very very poor job working with what they had. The story in itself wasn’t that much far off from the book. It’s the expressionless acting was the issue. Almost no one put in any effort to properly embody the character they’re playing. Most of them were just flat. If you realize no one is criticizing the older generations/side story actors acting…..there’s a reason for that.

The cast choices for the leads in my opinion were wrong. They needed more experience actors/actress or an extremely talented rookie. The Female actress was especially very wrong here for obvious reasons I won’t explicitly say. If you’ve watched Story of Minglan and Love like the galaxy or have personally read the corresponding novels then you would understand exactly what I mean. Before it aired I was especially worried about this very thing and true to it I was very much correct. I’ve watched both leads past works so I could tell their range especially because they weren’t that experienced yet. Also I don’t think it’s only their faults, the screenwriters and directors are to be blamed to a certain degree too.

I just knew....I knew it. This has been the only novel adaptation by Guan Xin Ze Luan that has received such poor reviews. The way this writer writes her novels 1. you need really experience actors or a extremely talented rookie to convey the feelings of her characters 2. The directors/ Screenwriters cannot stray too far away from the original piece or the whole storytelling will literally fall apart. Although not a complete failure I think this show ended being just so-so instead of excellent like the novel because of my two listed points. Almost nobody knew how to properly showcase the emotions their characters were to be conveying. It's like nobody wanted to look ugly on camera if that makes sense. To me all efforts were focus on the sets, photoshoot, cgi and costume and not so much on doing retakes if necessary and making sure everybody were properly embodying their actual onscreen characters instead of their in real life selves. Acting isn't just about memorizing a few lines, you need to remember the character you're playing background and act accordingly to that or there will be discrepancy in your portrayal. The directors seemingly forgot this very thing with show.

She got with him because his family had some money plus they urgently wanted him to get married too. She wanted to use that for her advantage since her mother was sick. Once her mother passed and reality started to kick in she ran away and also wanted to divorce him. She herself said she looked down on him and had it not been for what he could offer she wouldn’t have slept with him. She’s dead set on getting a rich man to depend on so she can continue her life of luxury. He’s not completely a terrible person but he’s also not overly bad either. He aggressively came onto FWZ and some would argue it’s because he didn’t know any better but outside of that he has been a fair and kind person. The way they’ve later turn him into this blood thirsty maniac just to justify Qian Qian wrongdoings is just poor poor writing.

So that person is once again here under another one of my comment…..because of them I genuinely don’t even want to comment my company anymore. So annoying.

There’s this one verified user here who is dead set on rebutting everyone who has point out the flawed and foolish writing of this show….its really so funny now I’m wondering if they are a bot or something. Cause bro….such level of unemployment is unfounded. I’m honestly shock😭😭😭. Baby please note we’re not criticizing the Lead actress. I’m sure she’s doing her best to work with what she’s got but please stop the writing is not it. It’s not at all believable let’s not be naive now😔

This isn’t a romance drama to be honest. The FL does have one relationship so far but spoiler it didn’t go well. There’s a reoccurring man but there’s no clear romance between them. Overall it’s business focus but for me I’m not completely enjoying the show since I’m not “convinced ” by female lead success. For me I honestly think the show has made her story unnecessarily complicated. There’s obvious better steps to take that could’ve built her character and career faster and much more interesting as oppose to what they’re trying to portray now. Also I think she has been making all the same mistakes over and over again. All her mistakes comes from her trusting the wrong people constantly. I also hate how she ostracize her father after learning some truth while she had no problem wholeheartedly embracing her the neglectful mother and cheating friend Qian Qian.

This writing sucks....I know it's gonna seem as if I'm blaming the victim here but I'm really not. even a blind man can see that they deliberately wrote Lui Zhu character to be violent just so that they could justify everything Qian Qian has been doing. We've seen the character from the start and he was never like this even when he liked FWZ( if anything his father was the one who tried forcing her) so the way they drastically changed him is kinda off-putting. He has always been a person without a back bone but nevertheless he was very caring. She was the one who became neglectful and emotionally abusive first. I don't agree with him forcing her to stay but at the same time it's somewhat understandable why he's doing that. Also it's really stupid of him to not agree to move elsewhere with her and the baby. All in all in my eyes Qian Qian doesn't want to take up the responsibility of being a mother, she doesn't want to be tied down with a child or a "poor" husband. She wants to go around drinking, singing and even sleeping around with rich men so she can enjoy the life of luxury. Maybe i'm wrong for seemingly victim blaming and for that i'm sorry but I seriously cannot take her side when I know she knowingly approached him for what she could get out of him to help her mother and when she couldn't need that anymore cause her mom died she ran away. Of course it's obvious she experience difficulties from her in-laws but if she truly cared or respected Lui Zhu she would've convinced him to move with her...That boy has no backbone, do not look at me and tell me he's difficult to persuade come on now! But again, that's not the life she wants, she doesn't want a family, she's just flirtatious and promiscuous. We saw how she behaved around men even when they were still on good terms. There's just no excuse for abuse of any kind from Lui Zhu or her in-laws but God she makes it difficult for anybody to chose her side cause to be fair all of this is her fault for being greedy and wasting that boys time knowing she only meant to use him to take care of her mother.

oh brother... gurl bye. I understand that you're enjoying the show and feel a deep need to defend FL beyond logics but lets come back down to earth. We're 10 episodes away from this show ending and throughout her time on her own she had learnt absolutely nothing. She makes the same mistakes over and over again and this affect the people around her. She trust who she shouldn't and defend and care for people who simply does not serve it. She was quick to outcast her father when she thought he was cheating with even hiring his explanation first but cuddled Qian Qian after knowing she abandoned her child and cheated on her husband who has done nothing but care for her. She has no form of discernment and had it not been for the plot armor of the story she would've long had her tail between her legs and her head hung in shame. Nobody is saying she shouldn't make mistake as she's still learning. the problem is she's over complicating things and always making questionable decisions because she's a know it all. that's it. This conversation ends here. let's agree to disagree.

1. He was in the middle of preparing to grief the lost of his wife. In the hospital he said something along the lines of "break up with him, I don't have the time to fully explain to you right now but he's not good for you." to her. She didn't heed his warning at all or even think to herself why would her father be interfering in her dating life in the middle of her mother fighting on her deathbed. Maybe I wouldn't break up with him but I would at least take some precautions around him until I was able to revisit the conversation with my father. She's known her dad her whole life and that boy for a few months. The educated choice would be to listen to her father request and at least take a step back if she couldn't bear to break it off immediately. This coupled with the fact that her father had never done anything to make her distrust him.

2. I need you people to use that god giving brain your parents spent 9-10 months meticulously growing. If she wasn't being fast and tuck a step back then her father wouldn't have been framed as a matter of fact if she was so "smart" instead of immediately breaking up like her father ask she would've question why IN THE MIDDLE of grieving he would stop to meddle in her relationship. She knew very well the kind of character her father was so there's no way he would try to break her relationship up unprovoked especially when his wife was battling death. It just did not make sense. Yes he wasn't clear enough in the moment and that's understandable considering what he was handling at the time, but once again she has tendency to whole heartedly trust all the wrong people. That's why she's dumb beyond naivety.

3. He was very clear to her but she had no intention of listening to him. He clearly said to her his character was questionable and he didn't have a good rep amongst his peers and she cut him off for interfering. He warned her more than three times and each time she brushed him off. Here's the thing she worked with that man before she herself knew he wasn't a good person and that he had a questionable character yet she borrowed money to invest and even got her friend involved. Again maybe it's just me but if I have alot of money at stake a person who has helped me a great deal in several of my dilemma heed me to take precautions against a known wicked; the first thing I would do is investigate so I could put theirs and my mind at ease. It's not like you've never been taken advantage of...Yet you're still facing life head on without not even a second though? She's chasing down idiocy as if it owes her money.

First of all what are you even saying? Secondly the IRL event was NOT used to judge the show??? I called the show dumb because it is dumb. The only thing that has been protect FL from failing completely has been the plot armor. She hardly ever makes conscious decisions and she’s very very naive. She appears to be smart but she really isn’t. Every single detrimental error she has been has been something she was advise against doing or warned to take precautions against but because she’s prideful and stuck in her ways she didn’t listen.

She’s not a teacher but she’s well aware of her situation more than others and she’s smarter than the ones that follow her. They look up to her because she has further education than her therefore they’re using that to trust her wholeheartedly. Knowing people whole to to such a high regards should make you think twice about the choices you make since it will also impact them. It’s like the government and citizens.

Again I called her dumb cause she is. Who she’s suppose to be putting her trust in she’s not doing so. Who she’s suppose to care about she’s not caring about. Mistakes she’s made that are meant to be learned from she’s not learning from them. She was way smarter when she was younger and still in college. After she almost ruined her family good name and ruin her father career because she refused to hear him out one would think she wouldn’t blinding give away her money to a a man who has made questionable dating decisions as well as in business. He knew Nan was framing and firing all the girls that weren’t on her side and he sat back and watch it happen even if they were good workers. Two people FWZ knew were fired yet she didn’t think twice about investing in someone of such questionable character? And why because he sold you some backed up cancel order? Bro go on ahead.

Oh yes...I haven't been this happy about someone's downfall since that rapist died. Serve's her right. I'm overjoyed and over the moon her ass got scammed. She was advice, there were signs, she was warned. She took no precautions before jumping to borrow money to invest. That man was dating Nan for God sakes, do you really think a person who is honest could withstand a person like Nan for so long? He obviously saw that you were a reliable cash cow after you bought though clothes from him and came up with thousand of dollars within days. He knew you had a brain you refuse to use so he took advantage. Serve's you right. I was so annoyed by her covering for Qian and they even lied about her cheating now my anger has disperse. Had she listen to Xiang a little sooner her ass would've had some control over where her money went but no she wanted to trust that horrible ex-boss. Good hopefully she gains some sense and realize her naivety doesn't only affect her but everyone that works under her.
