I disagree. The point of the show isn't to be a realistic fighting drama. It's more of a fun action-comedy with…
what even is your point? there's this thing about fighting. learning theory versus practical training are two different thing. He had no real practical fighting skills only the training from his uncle. Yes he's a good fighter but this is mostly in theory. realistically he WOULD NOT be able to go up against his opponent without a struggle.
the show is inconsistent with the fight scene. they show realistic fighting between the other characters and only go over the top with the ML. what is even the point?
I was not entertained. almost all the characters were vanilla and dumb. there's nothing to be hyped over. as i said very nonsense drama. they were not very serious making this. if you're gonna do a superhero/human theme drama/adaptation atleast be consistent so it comes out right.
Very overhyped and nonsense show. It was a okay watch to pass time but it was most definitely not good. Mainly because they didn't level the playing field for the fighters against the ML. Yes we understand that he's a great fighter and has been trading since middle school that still doesn't mean he'll be able to beat all his opponents without struggle especially the pros from the gang. I was really expecting a epic fight between ML and Hanwol but was left severely disappointed from all the super hero editing.
It's a fun watch in theory but those with brains will not enjoy as much do to all the nonsense they do to make the ML seems extraordinary.
The girl is too docile. You can be conscientious in your work, but don't be THAT conscientious and docile, this…
That was actually a real story. And the real teacher did in fact die. And the way it’s told in the series is kinda meek compare to the real life event. One of the main points you’re missing is these are powerful people and nobody really took the report site/board seriously at the time. Hence they Requested parents number instead. Most of the teacher can’t refuse or else they’ll be reported which is almost always unfavorable to them. Since the parents always gets the right. In Korea parents even complain if teachers wear false nails or eyelashes. That’s the way they try and dictate the life’s of teacher and get away with it. She tried and defend herself several times and even complained to the principal. Nobody stood up for her because of the parents and the power backing. Plus the bad rep the school would get. I don’t think you were watching the show well enough so you seemingly missed a few details but she did block the number and the parent showed up to her house in return. The point you’re missing is she took all necessary steps she COULD HAVE taken and not more in an effort to safely resolve the issue and not lose her job or create bad rep for the school. Going to the police or the media would’ve been unfavorable to her given the culture there.
I see a lot of people saying they’re uncomfortable with teachers hitting students and it’s child abuse etc etc.
I want ya’ll to understand that these are students, namely bullies who are beyond talking/ soft parenting. The only way to get them to repent or feel remorse is through performing the same way as them. They turn their victims into outcast? You turn them into outcast in return so they understand the feeling. They hit and mentally abuse their classmates/victim? You hit and mentally abuse them in return. They use the media to harass their victims to suicide? You use the media to show their true colors so they’re also harassed.
The only way to get through to them is to make sure they are put in the same hot seat they force their victims to sit in. Otherwise they’ll feel no remorse. Words will not get through to them they need a physically lessons.
Most people especially misunderstood that scene of the female teacher enforcing corporal punishment on HanYeri, it wasn’t necessarily to say the teacher is beating her cause she won’t solve the math problem it was more so to show that she’s not bigger than the program; she’s not the adult or the leader in the classroom. It was to bring her down a natch infront of her lackeys.
Both Tian Ben Chang and his father were taken to the capital and beheaded, no? Only the mother and younger brother…
No. His father seemed to have survived as he was shown walking in the crowd of zhen grandfathers death. Unless that was a production error but I most definitely saw him. As I said they showed Ben Chang doing evil they should’ve fully shown his demise. Whether the Wu family had fallen or not, the guard was still murdered the crime of a murderer should’ve been added.
Umm so previous comment still stand, they did a very poor job with the pacing of the romance between the leads and then when they finally got to confess to each other their happiness with quickly ripped away again. Furthermore for a family has evil as the Tian Family; we viewers deserved the satisfaction of witnessing Ben Chang being punished. Ofc they probably wouldn't show us his head rolling from his body but I needed a scene on the execution stage. I know he wouldn't feel remorse but he most definitely felt fear of dying. I needed to see those last moments. Also his father is a literal murderer why was he even pardon? Is the emperor stupid? I see they didn't even had the charge of murder to ben chang either after he choked out that guard. anyways this was kinda sloppy and I believe the earlier episodes were much better with storytelling and execution.
Misogyny, sexism and racism? That’s why they didn’t want the manhwa adapted? Come on people this is Korea…
You’re a dimwit talking about spiritually American. I’ve only ever visited that country, never a permanent resident/citizen. To show how freaking dumb you’re because I’m not American that means I’m not black? So you believe that the only country to have black people is America?? I’m not even gonna reply to your ass. Talking bout corny aave; baby how many languages do you speak? Do you even know what aave is? I’m literally loosing braincell talking to wet paper towel like you. Have the day you deserve love!
Misogyny, sexism and racism? That’s why they didn’t want the manhwa adapted? Come on people this is Korea…
I’ll provide you with my email so you can provide me video and photo evidence of this. One thing with me is I’ll never talk without researching first. POINT ME TO THE LINKS of these other riots and protests for actual victims. I WILL BE WAITING!
Misogyny, sexism and racism? That’s why they didn’t want the manhwa adapted? Come on people this is Korea…
Are you perhaps slow? That’s a specific group of people that are victims to a specific situation. I’m talking about normal every day people i literally mention in my comment how high misogyny is to the point women are refusing to marry even when the government is asking to pay them to do so. And I’ve never once say Korean didn’t protest against the education system. Once again I’ll mention; whenever there are real victims whether it be teachers or other students it is very quiet and no one come out to riot on their behalf, none of these little unions; were seeing now however you’ll always see them showing their colors for fictional stories. This is not the first drama they try to get removed from the media. Can you not read? Genuinely?
Chile they saying this show is receiving backlash in Korea because the original piece, manhwa was racist, sexist,…
Misogyny, sexism and racism? That’s why they didn’t want the manhwa adapted? Come on people this is Korea they live breathe and sleep misogyny sexism and racism. I can assure you that 98% of those people DO NOT CARE about black people and do be saying the n-words them selves as soon as they see you slightly tan and not pale ghost. It’s quite obvious how prominent misogyny is to the point the women refuse to marry and if they do they’re refusing to have kids even when the government is trying to pay them! Knetz have rapist and abusers on their screen but it’s the show that actually depict a story of protecting bullied victims both young and old they have a problem with. Bunch of hypocrites! Where were these unions and protesters when that school held his teacher at knife point and rape her in the alley? Where were they when that little girl got brutally raped by her older brother to the point she fell into a coma? It did happen on the school compound didn’t it? What’s even more surprising is there’s almost no report on these cases when they happen and they’ll always splatter the victims face all over the net but somehow we would still not know how the perp look.
Please miss me with this hypocritical ideology. The image they’ve created towards the western media keeps crumbling with each new show that’s released depicting real life events. That’s what maddening for them. That’s the reason they’re protesting. The mask is slipping and the eyes of the world is open
Chile they saying this show is receiving backlash in Korea because the original piece, manhwa was racist, sexist, and misogynistic. Ummm no it’s getting backlash cause it hits the nail on the head. It’s promoting child abuse? It’s absolutely not. All they did was use the same method of punishment those bully used to abuse their victims. We had several adult bullies and adult victims in this show and all of them were handled using the same method- showing them exactly how it felt being the one receiving the short end of the sticks.
In Episode 1 the bully picked a student to become an outcast he and his father went as far as to destroy that father’s business and everybody followed his lead because what? His father was powerful so what did the ERPB do? They removed the father from his position and just like clockwork the son also fell from grace. Hanyeri used the media to destroy her teacher’s life and they did the same thing to her by uploading bloopers from her edited video of false accusation against her male teacher. That gang member who force the students into gambling knowing they’ll always lose then when they do he physically attacks them and their parents got the same punishment through that rock paper scissors game. Those students who used that boys accounts for scams then turn around to report him for bullying also got punished using his same method of harassment toward his victim.
Doing exactly what these bullies (both adult and kids) did to their victims simply shows them with action EXACTLY why they shouldn’t be doing this to anyone. Even the case of the juvenile offenders the only possible way to punish them was to put them in the exact place they so solemnly believed they’ll never end up because of their age. All the ML and his team did was show that actions have consequences and depending on the action that’s how severe the consequences will be.
The imperfection we see in this show is deliberate! And most of these are base on real cases especially the ep where the parents give their children unprescribed drugs for focus or the one where the kindergarten mother kept harassing that teacher.
I saw someone complaining about the SA accusation episode and how it indirectly make it seems as if all such allegations are false and to be honest; I'll have to disagree on this one. We see very clearly that HanYeri uses her platform to target people, before she accused the male teacher she did the same thing to the female teacher when she had to cut the gum out of their hair.
That was what led the male teacher to volunteer to talk to her since he had seen her and her clique doing the edits in the library. So no they didn't make it seems as if all sexual violence against students by male(or female) teachers false. Also regarding the scene where the teacher using corporal punishment on HanYeri after she refuses to solve the math problem many didn't like that scene very much. I think most people felt bad for her because she didn't necessarily bully the other students but instead pick trouble with the teachers.
I think most people are not understanding that the reason for her growing her followers was for attention. and the reason she became like that was because of the lecturer. He isolated her and took away her livelihood until she snap and eventually missed her exam and even had to switch school. he was the one who turned her into a monster. She kept wanting to increase her followers because she needed to be at the centre and to always be the most popular; that's because her brain chemistry got rewired because of that teacher. She lost her self-worth and desperately was trying any way possible to recover it. Every time she targets a teacher, she's seeing that lecturer just like how a serial killer picks their victim.
All in all if you know anything about Korea you'll know that these cases were not ridiculous or made and are actually base on real life events.
This is your daily reminder that Yu Qian Qian was not (necessarily) a victim.
Yes she was a pawn in other people’s fight for power however just like how she ran away heavily pregnant she could’ve ran away before raping Qi Min.
Back story- Qi Min was severely ill and the ones around him saw no hope of him ever recovering. Fearing they’ll have no heir to inherit the ground after they force the puppet king to abdicate they suggested to a court maid, Qian Qian to sleep with the prince Qi Min. Now I know what you might be thinking. “How is she a rapist when she was force?” Yes she was force. Two things can be right at the same time. So yes she was infact also a victim. However here’s the thing, this occurrence wasn’t a one time thing. They drugged and violated him on several different occasions.
Watching the drama you’ll learn Qian Qian ran away while being heavily pregnant. Again SHE RAN AWAY WHILE PREGNANT….HEAVILY! she was smart enough to even cover up her tracks so she wouldn’t be found…..are you taking up what im putting down? No? I’m saying she had the opportunity to leave way sooner but didn’t until she kept raping him and eventually became pregnant.
The monster we see and know as Qi Min was created from anger and trauma build up. Everyone around him created that monster and instead of the writers telling his story properly they carefully only showed his REACTION and no the ABUSE he endured that made him like that.
Granted that nigga is a fuxkin piece of shit, but he isn’t just like that without reason. They basically murdered his mother, the ones who were ordered to protect him turned him into a sperm bank and after all that trauma, everybody is wondering why the nigga went mad. YA’ll made him like that.
He was hardly a villian even though he was completely evil. Those around him made him like that and he only wanted them to pay even if that meant killing the innocent (this shii crazy omg, I can’t stand with him on this) who gets in his way.
I just think non-novel readers should know the real story.
Those sick bastard even try to create romance between those two knowing the history. Truly sickening!
watching Teach you a Lesson and saw Song Young Gyu pop up in a scene in ep.1 and i suddenly remember he's no longer with us...My heart is break all over again.
Currently on episode 9 and all i wanna say is THAT BASTARD Cha Si Yeong MUST BE OUT OF HIS RABBIT ASS MIND!
why in the world would you bury a victim that is clearly one from the serial killing? why are they so thirsty for praise and promotion instead of doing their actual job. Is nobody using their head here? do they think serial killers just stop their killings before they're ready to cool off furthermore do they know it gets way worst after the cooling off period ends? The cooling-off period is to a serial killer what coming down from a narcotic high is to a drug addict. They're creating additional victims and ruining innocent people's life all because they refuse to do their jobs properly.
