You are a vicious Cnetz idiot. You're attempting to cost this young actress a plum role because of something her…
You're a very dumb person and do not belong among the literate.
Not being able to understand the simple concept of not wanting to indirectly work with a hypocrite proves you're beyond saving. Not being able to grasp that the issue has literally nothing to do with the actors themselves, but rather with one side's fans and the other side's management, tells me you need to be re-educated.
You keep screaming about "psycho c-netizens this" and "psycho c-netizens that," when the real issue is—and at the end of the day, it all boils down to one thing: actor or not, nobody will be willing to work with someone whose manager or management team has been accused of unprovoked hate campaigns against them for personal gain. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that.
My main argument isn't simply "the actress is guilty," but rather that even the perception that her management orchestrated smear campaigns is and will make her a risky person to work with.
Furthermore, whether this is true or not, the fact remains that this is the narrative the public has been presented with. What's even worse is that one side has presented what appears to be clear evidence, although whether it is sufficient proof is still unclear. Regardless of whether it's true, this has placed the actress and her management in a negative light. Her fans also have not presented any convincing evidence to support her position.
You keep saying that I and the c-netizens are the ones pushing her toward suicide, and this is exactly why I strongly believe you're a dullard. The person ruining her career is the individual on her team who allegedly created false gossip about other actors who have worked—or may work—with her. All she needs to do is remove that person or those people from her team to prevent future issues. If these allegations are false and the manager is indeed innocent, then release a statement confirming it, provide evidence to support that claim, and take a firm stance in defending the management.
I've said this before: no director, writer, producer, or production team wants to cast a high-risk actor or actress. And even if she does get cast, it will likely be for scripts that everyone else has already turned down.
You keep saying I'm pushing the actress toward suicide when I'm literally on her side. I've witnessed several promising actors and actresses fade into irrelevance simply because they—and their teams—thought they were bigger than the industry.
Even this same actor, Zhang Linghe, during the promotion of The pursuit of jade, almost lost his career and faced cancellation because he made an inappropriate joke about skin color.
The industry isn't kind to anyone. The same c-netizens you're claiming are pushing her toward suicide are also the same c-netizens who helped skyrocket her popularity. Unless someone discovers another way for actors and actresses to gain massive popularity and free publicity without fans or c-netizens, they will always remain dependent on the industry.
You are a vicious Cnetz idiot. You're attempting to cost this young actress a plum role because of something her…
How am I the problem when it’s a member of her team who spread vicious rumors about Zhang Ling He as well as several others of her co-stars to heighten her popularity?
The person who is pushing Yuxiao to suicide is the person who created the problem in the first place!
You’re not being objective and simply speaking out of your ass!
I don’t know how many times I must reiterate this. No production team will take on a actor or actress who will pose a high potential risk of having their work failing and no actor, actress or human being overall will be comfortable working with a person who has a team member who religiously talks shit about me so that who they serve will be seen in a better light!
I'm gonna be honest here....I started this expecting it to be heavily romanticize but quickly realize it was leading more towards politics and the female lead journey towards achieving her career goals. Because the path she wants to tale is a female official it makes total sense why the drama CANNOT be heavily romance focus even if the ML loves her very much. It would simply goes against all rules and not in a "love defy all" way. Now that she has lit the beacon, she will inevitable probably be removed from her position which will give the storytelling leeway to involve more romance.
I did a few skips of the novel since everybody said they did a lot of changes in the adaptation but to me the premise is still the same, but that's just me.
I think if you're looking for romance this is definitely not for you since the FL hardly ever shows she cares for the governor romantically and is mostly set on achieving her career goal more than bagging a man.
Thank God that this is an unpopular opinion bc this is such rigid definition of both love and healing. Not every…
you don't know me...... we don't even have the same taste in dramas. having a different opinion than the majority doesn't make me a bot or AI. My takes aren't meant to sound savage; they're literally objective opinions....Too bad ya'll DO NOT have a mind of your own!
Thank God that this is an unpopular opinion bc this is such rigid definition of both love and healing. Not every…
Not reading alladat. Sorry that happened to you or congratulations!
In other news. I said what I said and that’s that.
Thinking it’s normal for one person to be completely dependent on another emotionally to the point they’ll go mentally insane without them is just…. But anyway good luck to yall
Unpopular opinion but this is a very toxic relationship and they should’ve stayed apart. If the only way for you to “heal” is be with the person who hurt you then you’re 100% better off alone.
Thinking it’s normal for one person to be completely dependent on another emotionally to the point they’ll go mentally insane without them is just….
Regardless of whatever circumstances, this is a highly dependent situation. And anybody that studies psychology knows how harmful this shit is to BOTH parties. It's most definitely Not love.
This show reminds me so much of "Master of my own".... The acting and chemistry is there but the writing and story is in the pits of hell.
First of all the only good man in this show is Lu Ze, ML is just a lazy, loose mouth, good for nothing, incompetent bastard. Will not elaborate further. I really hate how throughout the whole show they had Fl laboring and then her swooning over him for simply helping out here and there. I WILL NOT ELABORATE FURTHER.
Second couple and his family or such a sore eye. The business aspect was done in such a overkill way too but at the same time was very lackluster.....
The pacing of everything is off. From the relationships, to the business, even down to the very proposal.
The proposal especially was what sealed it for and allow me to draw the conclusion ML is a terrible, terrible man. He made no effort to appease or attempt to marry his previous girl friend but propose to this one in such a short space of time? it really showed me what I already knew, men uses certain women as placeholders until they're finally ready to settle down or their PREFERRED time comes around!
Anyways this gave absolutely nothing. The writers took a piss. death to all of them!
I must say Cdramas are on a generational run of rubbish this year. If it's not step-siblings fucking, it's adopted siblings and cousins. they even ruin perfectly written shows just because they wanna add in rape....Just eww brotha.
Thank God to the writers of "Love story in 1970" cause that's genuinely the only good show from start to finish that has been released this year so far. Everything else either started off strong and fell on hardwood in the end or simply just fell off in the second half of the show. That's exactly what happened with POJ. Great show but the something drastically shift in the second half. it was still good but in a OKAY way not WOW like it was in the first half.
I expected a grand battle between the Mo brothers or the very least a few good scenes of MXY fighting on the battlefield. They did all that build up only to give us absolutely freakin nothing.
The consort dowager and the empress dowager got off way too easily. And yeah yeah i understand it’s because they wield way greater power than everybody else but i think if not Ye Li , Jing Li should’ve killed or disabled atleast one of them.
Li fei Bai getting his eyes injured and hiding it from everyone to move into seclusion is not only stupid but also simply does not add up. The Fei Bai I know would’ve never hidden such a thing from Ye Li of all person. Maybe the others but definitely not Ye Li especially with her medical skills. It goes completely against how their relationship work and the complete trust and partnership they always share.
What pisses me off the worst was how her mental illness was handled. If they weren’t going to correctly represent it then they should’ve never began in the first place. We saw how it haunted constantly it’s only right to also show her struggle and gradual recovery. People just don’t stop seeing their hallucinations immediately after taking their meds but whatever girl!
They wrapped up the fighting and resolved everything in ep39 then decided that wasn’t enough let’s go ahead and ruin the last ep which btw should’ve been dedicated to family segment with them starting a family instead we got so many unnecessary scenes.
I was so prepared for some superb performances especially when you remember what happen to the former prince Ding. It’s so obvious that they wanted to build a storyline around the same scenario with Xiuyao but even that they gave up and left in the middle of.
Second couple and his family especially his mother are just way too annoying for me to watch their scenes. I've been skipping them nonstop. the terrible editing on Li Xinze face is pissing me off so i skip his scenes too.
The Dynamic between the ML&FL lead is nice and all but i'm literally on ep 23 and there has been no progress on romance. then come to find out even after 30 episodes they've still not begun to date? Absolute garbage. For pacing they should've already been warm up to each other romantically by Ep 18 and been dating by ep 22-24. Why else would I be watching 36 of corn salad?
Now they're gonna fast forward everything and prematurely wrapped it up.
Everything about this show is too much and too little and the same time. The only couple here that make sense fictionally and realistically is between Lu Ze and JingJing. They're the ones who need the screen time not whatever Danyu and Jun Cheng doing.
Its Chinese culture and if its accepted there, you can't do anything about it. Also you can choose to watch or…
stop talking to me…. Do you even know the definition of rage baiting? Dumb heaux… Yk nothing about Chinese culture but dear to mention that this is apart of it? Empty shell
Step siblings relationship…..again??? Do these writers just have nothing to write about?? They couldn’t have been neighbors? School mates?? Hell a random stranger on the street???? Why do they have to have family relations of some time?
Just writing anything at this point. Nasty and disgusting.
Ye Ying is such a bird omg. Absolutely no shame or self respect. That man has never once shown you a ounce of kindness or love but look at you willing to drink the water he uses to wash his shitty ass.
I can bet gravitational pull is the only thing keeping her empty skull from floating away into the abyss...... Brain eating bacteria would starve in her head, I'm sure.
She's right up there in the bird Kingdom with Feng Xi Yang from fated hearts
I think you're misunderstanding. Its because they DON'T have the rights before they even shoot this thing yet…
what fantasy world? If the creator and production came to an agreement then doesn't that equally works out for both parties? I'm simply going off official statements made. I haven't scene the original work nor do I intend to. But if it's truly plagiarism they should just sue. simply. they literally have a solid case.
I think you're misunderstanding. Its because they DON'T have the rights before they even shoot this thing yet…
I’m not reading alladat. And this wasn’t even plagiarism, if you believe it was then okay that’s your opinion. Base on official statements they simply began recording before obtaining the rights not that they had intentions of stealing the work and making it into something of their own
I think you're misunderstanding. Its because they DON'T have the rights before they even shoot this thing yet…
I think you’re missing the point. Yes they started recording without getting the clearance from the original first however some sort of agreement was made since this was able to air after so long.
Dragging others actors and actresses names to praise another names isn't working you know, it's just toxic
Okay do you want a cookie?? It’s call critique and comparison. I didn’t drag anybody. I objectively compare those two actresses to the lead one in this drama since others were saying ‘she cannot act and either of the other two should’ve been the FL’
Okay so this is my opinion on why this is failing.
Objectively this is a really nice drama to pass time however base on the original work/ source material it’s falling flat to most viewers who has seen the original.
I cannot directly speak in regards to that or make the comparison since I’ve yet to see the anime; however in my personal opinion I believe that though it differs a lot from the original work, People should give it a watch as a standalone.
It seems some scenes were cut due to copyright. But i strongly believe outside of that, the acting is solid, there’s chemistry between the leads and the comedy is on point. The politics aspect is just a tad bit draggy but nothing too bad.
Final verdict, if you’ve seen the original work and go in expecting a “live adaptation” then you’ll probably be disappointed. However if you’re able to treat this as a stand alone show then there’s a high chance you may enjoy this a bit. In my opinion it’s not very heavy and all the different parts are balanced enough to me. We also have a side couple that also has a funny dynamic.
