What is it with JBLs and just knowing how to hook you from the very first episode? This has got me already.

This is simple but pure entertainment. And it’s got a fun, twisty storyline. It’s such easy enjoyment.

Grandma for the win! This whole show just made me miss my own grandma so very much. What a great series though. I loved this so very much too.

I’m going to miss this so much. What a journey it was. I’ll definitely come back to watch again.

Literally, what’s not to love with this? I feel like I could break into multiple poetic verses about what this is and the message it’s telling and the profoundness of the same but so very different from what a BL is. But instead I’ll just say it’s good, it’s really good.

Can anyone tell me if paying the subscription is worth it for this series? Do you get extended scenes maybe in addition to viewing sooner?

I feel like Hioki has a hidden beauty that isn’t necessarily seen right away. It’s a cute but confident strength that might not be readily recognizable, but Watarai seems to see it. And also… beauty really is in the eye of the beholder.

If you can just look past all of the GMMTV-coded sh*t, this really is a good show. Also Boun and Prem are my Thai BL bias, so take my opinion as you will. But I’ll stand by this, it’s a cool show and there really is an interesting story here. The last episode was incredible, the layers being pulled back and how it almost felt like a page right out of the movie Inception. I digress, simply put, this is just fun, and also ridiculous, but again, consider the production company.

Loving every single bit of this. I’m sat and impatiently waiting for more.

The excitement is so on another level 🤗 This will be plaguing my thoughts on the constant.

I’m really liking this so far. It’s just got me. The acting, script and story feels really well done from the very beginning. Looking forward to more!

This really is pretty good so far. I’m liking what I’m seeing. I love action scenes, just the choreography of stunts and fight scenes in general. My biggest qualm with this though is that they keep pulling their punches. Or is it that the stunt guys are pulling their reactions? Either way, the fight scenes aren’t totally great, but still timed and done pretty damn well. Plus the chemistry is bubbling like a mad scientist’s test tube, so I won’t complain about the action when it all balances out with the romance and keeps me wanting to see more of both.

This is the season 2 I didn’t even know I needed. I just hope it’s not too laden down with the whole “will they, won’t they” and that is focuses more on them fighting for each other than giving up and then giving in. I sincerely don’t believe that relationships have to go through a break up then make up phase, but for some reason the entirety of the romance genre seems to find this necessary. It’s really not though. Seeing a lasting love can be just as exciting as when that love began. Romance can be so much more than that 3rd act break up scene! Here’s to hoping season 2 defies the odds.

This has so got me. Hook, line and sinker. I’m so caught up in this. I’ll be counting the days down until the next episode.

It’s officially coming to a platform I can view it on!! It’s really happening! This day really came! I will forever appreciate GagaOOLala for picking up all these Japanese BLs that I’d never be able to watch otherwise… (not legally at least).

I just hope Japan never stops making BLs. For reals though, they do it all and they are my bias standard. Japan BLs can be fluffy, like this one starts out seeming, but can also be like say, Happy of the End. The cutesy or traumatic stories don’t have to ever be just one thing. The fluff has angst and depth and the harshest of them all still make your heart swoon. It’s that combination of characters, acting, story, and care for development that will get you every time. And often times, you don’t even know what you’re in for until you’re already sunk and invested beyond retrieval. Of course Japan BLs can have their fair share of misses, but the hits, they just keep coming.

I’ve been having this issue with Gaga for a while now where I get that same playback error, the only way for me to watch on my tv is to airplay from my phone or tablet. I’ve just been watching on my tablet because the subtitle timing is better there than through airplay. Good luck to you! Hope you get to watch soon!
