I’m gonna be controversial here and say that he had nothing to apologise over. He didn’t kiss his ex, she…
I think that Tai deserved an explanation rather than an apology. I agree that Phat should have made things clear with Nara from the beginning, and I was really mad at him for not saying anything when she first showed up at the vet clinic and told him she wanted to get back together. He also definitely shouldn’t have kissed her when he was drunk, I can understand why she had false hopes after she did that.
However, he kissed her when he and Saengtai were barely in the talking stages of getting to know each other. While it’s not okay to kiss your ex when you like someone else, I think kissing her was what confirmed he had definitely moved on from Nara and wanted to be with Saengtai instead. Nara deserved an apology for that even if I hated her actions in this episode. I wish they showed Phat explaining the situation better to Saengtai so he understood Phat’s actions and reasonings better, but I don’t think he should apologise about it.
I think everyone handled this situation wrong, Phat’s colleagues included. I think Tai deserved an explanation but I kind of understood why they didn’t do that, Tai himself recognised he was angry due to his own insecurities believing he and Phat were not suitable for each other. I personally think Saengtai left because he recognised that, even if Phat didn’t initiate or reciprocate the kiss with Nara, he knew they suited each other well and wanted to take the time for himself to decide how he wanted to deal with his insecurities in his relationship. Instead of an apology, I hope we can see Phat helping Saengtai face his fears and spend time reassuring him that he loves Saengtai regardless of whether they are soulmates. I think I’m rambling on a bit too much so I’ll stop here😅.
I was just as surprised. I especially appreciated the conversation up the mountain. Sounded real and honest and…
That’s right, I think that’s the main reason Saengtai’s insecurities with his and Phat’s relationship were never too bad, because he knows that Phat fell for him before ever knowing they were soulmates.
I will admit that I initially was upset that Phat didn't push Nara away. But after seeing that he clearly didn't…
I completely agree with you, Saengtai had every right to feel upset at the situation and I completely understand his insecurities. Phat should have made things clear with Nara the second he started to fall for Saengtai, and I’m glad he can recognise that and even admits to Nara that he should have made things clearer sooner. I’m definitely glad they didn’t drag out the misunderstandings too, Saengtai realised he was upset because of his own insecurities and I hope in the next few episodes we see Phat helping Saengtai deal with his insecurities and working together to resolve any future conflicts.
From now I guess bring on the angst with Lomfon, I’m looking forward to how they deal with that.
People also have the right to make their own opinions, all them are valid this is a drama and humans tend to have…
Maybe you should reread my comment. Nowhere was I attacking anyone, I stated that I was annoyed and disappointed with the comments blaming Phat for a situation that was not his fault. Phat did not kiss Nara, nor did he reciprocate the kiss, that is a fact not an opinion. My opinion is that it’s weird to blame Phat for someone else kissing him without his consent.
I think that while everyone has the right to their own opinions, it feels like borderline victim blaming to me (even though the situation wasn’t nearly serious enough for me to call it that), which is why I was disappointed. So yes, I do feel a little defensive, I don’t consider that to be a problem.
I hope you can take the time to understand why I might feel a little defensive about that. There’s a line between stating a difference of opinion and attempting to help people understand Phat’s actions so they can understand the plot a little better, which may change their minds on this episode as a lot of people didn’t seem to like it. The aim of my comment is to educate not attack, I apologise if the tone of my comment sounded off, I’m not good with expressing tone and emotions easily in comments but I hope you can understand my perspective.

I feel like I’m going insane here lmao. I’m not saying people are victim blaming Phat because I don’t think the situation was that serious, but it’s weird that he’s getting all the blame for his ex kissing him without his consent. Some of these comments are making me quite mad about it, Phat did nothing wrong and I’ll defend his actions completely.
I'm sorry but who in their right mind would become someone's boyfriend after seeing him kiss his ex and his non-apology…
I’m gonna be controversial here and say that he had nothing to apologise over. He didn’t kiss his ex, she kissed him without his consent, just because he didn’t push her away doesn’t mean he wanted that to happen. Tai could clearly see Phat didn’t initiate the kiss or reciprocate, he just froze up, an understandable reaction when someone kisses you unexpectedly. Phat shouldn’t have to apologise for that.
Copy and pasting my comment to a reply below because some of these comments are annoying me a little:
Phat did nothing wrong and had nothing to apologise over. He kissed Nara before when he was in the beginning stages of talking to Saengtai, they were not dating or anywhere close to being in a serious relationship at that time. While I don’t like his explanation about being drunk and not thinking clearly, and he shouldn’t have done that with his ex, it’s not nearly as bad as some people are making that out to be. In this episode Nara kissed him (HE DIDN’T KISS HER, SHE KISSED HIM!!!) without his consent and he froze. A lot of people have different reactions to being kissed unexpectedly and instead of pushing her away his instinctual reaction was to freeze up, which would probably be my reaction in that situation too.
Phat also seemed like he was about to explain the situation with his ex to Saengtai when they sat on the mountain together but Tai stopped him. I think Tai was capable of realising Phat didn’t reciprocate his ex’s affections and left instead because he was facing his own insecurities. Tai realised on his own he was being unfair to Phat for doubting him when Phat has done nothing but show Tai how much he cares.
When Nara kissed Phat he did not ask her to do that, and he did not reciprocate the kiss. Just because he didn’t push her away doesn’t mean that was his fault. Some of these comments about that situation are kind of rubbing me the wrong way. Phat did nothing wrong in that situation and I’m actually disappointed at the comments acting like he should apologise for someone kissing him without his consent.

I disagree, he had nothing to apologise over. He first kissed Nara when he was in the beginning stages of talking to Saengtai, they were not dating or anywhere close to being in a serious relationship at that time. This most recent time Nara kissed him without his consent and he froze. A lot of people have different reactions to being kissed unexpectedly and instead of pushing her away his instinctual reaction was to freeze, which would probably be my reaction in that situation too. Phat also seemed like he was about to explain the situation to Saengtai when they sat on the mountain together but Tai stopped him. I think Tai was capable of realising Phat didn’t reciprocate his ex’s affections and left instead because he was facing his own insecurities. Tai realised on his own he was being unfair to Phat for doubting him when Phat has done nothing but show Tai how much he cares. I respect your opinion but I honestly don’t think Phat did anything wrong.
let's end the trope of people getting lost after a 1 minute walk into a random forested area thinking they were…
Fr, I know it’s easy to get lost in a forest because it’s all surrounded by trees and everywhere looks pretty much the same, but it’s so unrealistic. Just remember the direction you walk in, then when you get lost just turn around and go backwards. It’s genuinely not that difficult.😩😂

Ikr, that conversation was my favourite part. I think a lot of people with parents who are divorced or separated relate to Saengtai and I like how he seemed to have this realisation that all relationships have problems, what’s important is being able to work through them together. Honestly, I think they are a couple with pretty good communication skills. I’ll be joining you in the wait for next weeks episode!😊
I can’t tell if other people are just way too picky or if I’m just easily pleased but I really enjoyed this episode.😅 It was definitely way too dramatic and it wasn’t as good as the last few episodes have been but I still liked this episode a lot. It was definitely a shock coming here expecting to read other positive comments only for the majority to be so negative. Either way, we’re all entitled to our own opinions and in mine this was a good episode, not great or awful, just good. I can’t wait for next week!!!!
I do have one main question though, is Pitch called Pitch or Pizza because the English subs keep changing his name on the site I’m watching the series so I can’t tell what his name is supposed to be anymore?😅😂 And like, half of the characters names get spelled differently every time they are subbed, can the subbers please make up their minds😅😩
Honestly, I understand the basic plot that they are all actors living together in the House of Stars, other than that I have no clue what’s going on. I’m loving Pawin at the moment, he’s causing so much chaos and it’s great 😂 Aside from that Korn and Pawin have great but messy chemistry and the whole love triangle mess between Gun, Pitch and So is interesting. I honestly don’t have many thoughts about Wayu and Weha so far though that may change in the next episode.
Ahhh, I actually loved this episode so much. The teaser for next weeks episode was so mean though. What do you mean I have to wait another week for a potential confession?!😭😩
Finally finished this series. There’s honestly little to say, I enjoyed the show to a certain extent but I doubt I’ll ever recommend it to others. It was kind of like my guilty pleasure drama, I watched it despite knowing how toxic it was because there’s something about this novel universe (same with Unforgotten Night) that intrigues me and I keep going back to rewatch it. It was definitely low budget and the acting wasn’t great, but I did honestly enjoy this series and I don’t regret watching it.
Yep, the good thing is the whole part that was badly subbed was all included in the cut version, so you can just watch the cut version to watch the end of ep 11 part 2 from the part where P was talking to his Dad. That part was in the beginning of episode 12 cut version.
… My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined😭. That’s my only thought process right now.
Santa didn’t make it? Hyunbin didn’t make it? Taeseon didn’t make it? Jaemin didn’t make it? But K-Soul made it?!!! I can’t believe that only 5 of my top 12 actually made it, I’m so disappointed. But at the same time I’m glad they’re not stuck with such a crappy company with toxic members. So many contestants seem really toxic, I honestly feel bad for Hikari debuting with the people who fatshamed him.
Exactly this is what Isaid some days ago. Love syndrome is not getting this hate. All are complaining about Pat…
Yeah, I more meant characters levels of immaturity etc when I said actions and behaviours. I found it obvious this was a slow burn romance where we would see the slow progression of Pat and Jeng’s relationship Step by Step. I honestly think it’s very realistic, Pat doesn’t think he has a chance with his boss, who is obviously someone way out of his league, so when his ex returns and expresses interest in him, Pat goes back to Put. Someone going back to their ex is very common and I’m surprised how many people hated Pat for this decision. I absolutely agree in LS, nothing can justify the levels of abuse those characters output their lovers through, and it’s disgusting to watch them talk about falling in love with the person who did *that* to them. But if someone spends the whole time only complaining about those aspects, I just think why did you bother watching it in the first place? I studied psychology for a while so I absolutely love watching the occasional toxic romance so I can sit there analysing characters mental states, and for me Love Syndrome was like a gold mine😅. If I was still studying behavioural psychology I could write a whole essay on Itt and Day’s relationship.
