They edited out thing from the script because of budget. From the point of flow of the plot , it should be a 40s episodes show. So around 30-35 there is feel of OCC for some of the character and plot jump, and death offscreen for minor characters. I would advice to attention to conversations, to find out what happen to the minor characters. The budget was the major drawback to this production. To save money, the cast director had to play Duan Peng Ju and the nut company got multiple episodes product placement because I think they put around a quarter of the budget.

So I guess it permanently ban now…there will be no way for WOH to put on the shelf in China. They made it officially no BL adaptation…so Yuoku was really using ZZH as a excuse😞😡

I passed forward every scene he was in, such a stupid character. When they introduce him, I was 🤷🏻‍♀️. Actually the whole family are wasted, they were there only to ruin hero’s plans….Liu Ran, her father and lastly her brother. Liu Ran was ok in later parts because she had less screen time.

I am watching Luoyang, right now…good show. However…..there is old secret organization that is name the “four season divine”….that is an assassinate group that so power they move under the wire of the empire intelligent/spy department…..all I keep thinking about when they are talk about them is😮‍💨 Ah-Xu’s descendant from four season manor got mixed up with his “window of Heaven” and trying takeover the empire 😅 Ah-Xu should come down the mountain and clean house.😆

There a Chinese anime called “thousand autumn” where the two main leads have a similar relationship like WKX and Ah-Xu, expect the flirty one is the older one and want the “Ah-Xu” character to join his dark clan. The plot is somewhat similar too, the is manual that’s all the clan want and main leads past are involved with it.

I kind of agree that’s at some point ZZH would need to go to court to clear his name, either sue CAPA or those Rumor creators. However in suing the CAPA, he can get back on the major platforms, since they are part of the association, but there could be bad blood, which can be bad for his future career. On the other hand, what possible more thing they can take way from him, right?! 🤨😠
As for the CAPA, I thinks I read one of Mr. Li post that he want the Ministry of Culture to step in because CAPA is still affiliated with them and fall under their purview. Since they are the real government power that actually can ban ZZH, but didn’t. They can fixed this or get to bottom of it. However, I don’t know if a government body want to step into this mess😑. CAPA has being hiding behind them for along time. I thinks they most likely will wait and see how it turn out. However, it would be great if they did step in, it would be better then ZZH suing the CAPA. If the CAPA did lose the backing of Ministry of Culture and tourism, all those platforms (Weibo, Tencent, QQ music, Douyin and Toutiao) would jump ship…that would be a major shake up…it would drive home their message that no one or entity is all powerful and the party can take you down if they chose. 🧐

So. I saw the first episode and just finished the last….and some spoiler trailers inbetween and I know how the novel end. So my question is did she marry the emperor for real ( like the novel) or was in name only? Or did she marry her master? Please spoiler….don’t really go and have to watch everything to find the answer

So ZZH applied his appeal (within the 10 day deadline), I guess we are all waiting… I think three thing could happen:
1. They don’t restated him, and weather the public opinion storm, like they are doing now.
2. They can wait till everything quiet down and quietly restated him…but I don’t think it will happen.
3. They can unban him, but they can’t admit they banned him under social pressure and apologize ( like most fans and Mr. Li wants) to him.
I am waiting to see who CAPA would use to get out of this PR mess they are having. Someone has to shoulder the blame, either ZZH or some poor middle level boss.

So I only saw the first episode so far and waiting for at less half way before watching it, since it should supposed to a love triangle with emperor, master and FL and I am not over fond of romantic heavy triangle story. However from the trailers I saw up to 35 episode, the emperor seem to be still in loved with his replacement wife. Did they throw this love triangle out the door?

As stated before, I haven’t heard about 50 episodes, but in all the article I read stated 40.

I had the same reaction, when I first saw poison sucking tropes. Then the other tropes starting pop up😂.
On side note: I did start a response to you about cinematic standpoints between WOH and the untamed but it became almost a term paper. I would have to email to you…it would be too long for the comments section 😅 because both show is like book ( which to me is all great show) there is too much to analyze.

If you have an objections about the 40 episodes, you could have responded so, without stating out falsely stating that I am “assuming” thing without the knowing fact and “go there”.

Like I said the scriptwriter put a lot tropes in this series. If you watch any Chinese drama and know the romantic tropes then expect see to most them here.

I don’t any information the tell people lightly. Like I said it is a guideline. It was release by an official agents, the NRTA, which is ministry-level executive agency controlled by the CCP. I standby what I wrote. They released the guideline. They just not strict with enforcing it for now. It is up to production company to decided how long a series going to be and if the review broad would allow it. I don’t why you are fighting about this, when it an information you can easily found about.
