Geum Hae Na for me is carrying this drama, kinda crazy that her resume isn't extensive. Thanks to Disney+ for…
Right?? I love her already, SHE HAS TO SURVIVE. She been through so much in the past she gotta have some sort of happy ending after going through THIS much.
Girl is killing it in A Shop for Killers, I hope she will get more casting and opportunities after this. Cuz DAMN acting in an action-packed drama is a difficult one.
Pasin and So Min Hye are such likable and interesting characters, I hope they both survive and get their happy ending or their prefer way to go out at least because on the Hulu episode description preview, it said that:
"EPISODE 8" "Listen Up, Jian" "Killers close in on Jinman's house. Jian prepares for the final duel on her own." :(((
Let's be real here, LDW is carrying this drama. Cinematography is pretty bad, FL is dumb. One character was typecast…
Cinematography was not bad what??? FL is dumb? She just woke up to a bunch of over stimulating information WITH trained assassins trying to kill her LOL. You'd be shitting your pants like her if you were put on her shoes dear lord. Just don't be picky and enjoy the ride, welcome to Action Flick.
Is it just me or the scarf on the bad guy looks FAMILIAR?
common scarf used by Foreign Mercenaries and Resistance/Rebel forces. These two interchangeably adopted the scarf throughout their purchase of weapon sales to each other. Hence why you see them on Resistance forces and Mercenaries.
Mercenaries don't usually care about what they were fighting for or against: for them it is only about the money.Everybody…
The thing with mercenaries irl is that no one there is a saint or a good person, there is only evil and evil, with one of them in the morally gray zone. I'd say Jinman is the one. He's evil for sure but not on a scale bale is, Bale is an example of what the majority of irl mercenaries are. Mercenaries like Jinman usually get push out of the pack because he (Jinman) still have some humanity within himself.
I think there is a bit of romance involved looking at the trailer
it is said that it is a marriage with an ulterior motive behind it, she plans to derail our two ML's successful paths for some unknown reason, we will find out!
Really interesting premise. But anyone else feel like the cinematography looks a little Netflix-ish?
lol that's a good thing what... Netflix budget and cinematography is professional. Plus this is Disney+ they make banger dramas. Kdramas have evolved now and doesn't look like 2016 kdramas anymore.
being rich in Korea or anywhere else, especially a huge [insert powerful name] group with political influence,…
you would probably like this drama better if it was crime thriller. This is a comedy, action, and mystery so it's not going to be 100% serious and not over the top.
being rich in Korea or anywhere else, especially a huge [insert powerful name] group with political influence,…
I think the drama will explore his character more than just him being rich, they're clearly already setting it up in the first scene that foreshadow his future. The initial gimmick is that you have a rich naive son who just happened to join the Police force in violent crime unit, the question is will he use his skills and resources for good? Will the things he go through change him as a person? If you remember the first couple minutes of the episode, our character, presumably in the later future, narrates that initially he was fine with having no purpose and just being rich, but something happened that changed everything and you hear a gunshot. The writers may show us something much more in depth of our character soon, it's a 16 episode drama, they are taking it slow.
It was a good start. Before starting the episode I thought he had trained to be a cop just for fun (just like…
those abrupt black screens/transitions are ads lol. I have Hulu without Ads subscription and it does the same except without the black screen fading, it just cuts the ad like it never existed and continues the scene
Why do writers think that having a character be rich af mean they can do/write whatever they want ? Not 10 minutes…
being rich in Korea or anywhere else, especially a huge [insert powerful name] group with political influence, means they can actually do whatever they want. Crazy to imagine but its like that in reality. Difference with Batman is that Batman is just rich, thats it. He holds no influence over politics and has no connections in the brutal business scene and a lot of people hate him because he goes against what the rich does despite being rich himself.
Idk how I feel about Sun Ah's fate/demise at the end, does she deserve to commit suicide herself to avoid consequences? I get that she was sort of a victim/turned into villain by the cruel world, but it doesn't justify her insane ideas and murder/wrongdoings. She's almost similar to YoHan with the difference being that she was willing to stoop lower than what YoHan would do. I was hoping that she would be slowly and painfully stripped into the low ranking status that she hates and fumes at the most, being called a maid was her sensitive point, so as a revenge, her being recognized and forced to be a servant/maid to the ones who suffered because of her; thus in return tormenting her internally, a pain much worst than physical pain, an invisible fire from hell.
I just feel like a suicide fate is a spoiled revenge plate. A cold dish left out until it becomes room temperature and stale; it's still good and safe but ultimately not ideal or enjoyable to liking.
Either way, it was a really good drama, Ga On is a pure example of blind righteousness in flesh. Though he redeemed himself late sadly.
I wonder if he has been alive all this time somehow (scar on his neck) and vowed to make sure to eradicate the…
Netflix said that it will involve time traveling somehow, so this story is getting really interesting and expansive. Either both of them somehow time traveled into the future or they are reincarnated with the same fate of meeting each other again with the same faces.
Season 2 is set in 2023/2024 featuring the lead cast of Park Seojun, Han Sohee, Lee Moosaeng and Bae Hyunseong.Translation…
I don't understand this timeskip, how will they set our ML and FL back together if its 78 years later!! assuming that in season one they are in their 20's or 30's, that means they would be dead if not really old in 2023/2024... Unless Taesang is reincarnated into 2024 and their fate intertwined once more.
