Yes, best friends support each other 100% ride or die, but that doesn't mean you get to use them and their ride or die card for your benefits. ML knows everything, he knows they are faking it. Only part he doesnt know is that Dohan is gay and how Dohan's sexuality plays the part in this. Of course, he's going to steal the FL because his literal identity, life, and career is on the line. He will be irrational and insensitive to Dohan UNTIL Dohan tells him about his sexuality. South Korea view homosexuality as a rare and unexpected thing, so not everyone will assume that the first thing is it's because he's gay. Context is key for everything and our ML is being left out completely when his dreams are being threatened literally, he has every right under these circumstances to save himself and stand up lol.
