I hate how Siyi's mom continues to use Siyi's grandmother. First coming to her for money (which is wild because she takes care of Siyi for free) and now dumping her son who has zero relation to said grandmother onto her. Don't get me wrong I think him living with Siyi and the grandmother is good for him but I'm mad that that mom continues to get away with being a deadbeat user.
I'm going to need Feng Hua's dad to end the working relationship between him and Wang He's dad. If the boating situation has taught them anything its to not do business with friends. He dragged his feet to sell that ship.

She said that she doesn't want to do idol dramas anymore. So I'm assuming after she takes her well deserved break she'll do more dramas like these. I think it's great too mix it up as well. And I agree she's doing great in this drama; her character in particular is my favorite--she's smarter than she thinks (a floating grocery store was so genius of her).

The insane amount of censorship, the occasional propaganda in some dramas, the episode length, again fandoms (the amount of times I see people downvote a drama because they don't like the actor/actress). In comparison with Kdramas they aren't as popular so the hate is more apparent.

That's understandable logic but for some reason, Cdramas in general get a lot of hate and then mix in the fandoms were they tend to downvote actors/actresses they don't like.
What's up with the ratings. I understand if not many watching this but I am sure whoever is watching it regularly…
Most Cdramas with a family theme centered around numerous characters usually aren't rated this high. And it makes sense because this drama isn't geared towards the Western audience. Look at six sisters and Romance in the Alley for example.
I'm sorry but this fight scene with the knife was so unnecessary. All the ML had to do was sit in the car after he called the police and inform the FL not to come down because her Uncle was outside and let the police take care of it. The ML wants to be her savior even at the expense of his own life. 😮💨
She clearly never loved her husband and daughter. Her love for new husband and step daughter(+biological-son with…
And you are so right because how can you have a whole new family in place the moment your husband dies? She was already preparing a new life as the FL's father was dying.
The way she was pleading and begging her mom to take her in and save her was so sad to watch. The wild part is that the mom knows that the uncle is a bonafide creep but doesn't give af when it comes to her real daughter. I remember a couple of episodes ago she was making sure her stepdaughter was fully covered to not draw his attention to her.
This drama was just okay for me. Not bad but not amazing either. I'd say it was a solid 8.
I felt as though Ren Min was completely miscast. The way she addressed her lines was so monotone and one note. There wasn't enough emotion and power behind her words in situations that called for it.
I also found the ML to be a bit bland for my taste. Yes. He was a complete green flag but he was too perfect. I'm still wondering how did the ML even learn how to fight and at the same level as the 2ML??? How did he earn so much money? It was never explained in the drama so all of it just left me a bit confused.
