I just watched the first two episodes and I love how the kids feel like real kids (perfect casting for the children). They're very mischievous and are always getting in trouble (it reminds me of when I was a kid). The watermelon scene is low-key funny because the watermelon is 25 cents and they prefer to steal them instead. 😂

Also loved the transition from them as children to teenagers. It was really smooth how they did it.

If you don't like it from the first three episodes then this drama might not be for you. Trust me. I should have stopped at episode three myself but I like ZJM, so I forced myself to finish.

I thought I was going to love this drama because I watched this writer's other works in the past and loved them (Go Go Squid, Love Me Love My Voice, and Road Home) but this was extremely underwhelming. Both the leads were so boring that I found myself nodding off from time to time because their conversations together were so dry. And the "chemistry" between them was so uncomfortable to watch.

Another thing that bothered me was that Wang Xing Yue had main lead status but he was so underutilized in this drama. I thought we'd see more of his personal/love life but his character played more of a support role; which was very disappointing.

Even though I didn't like this drama and rated it a 6.5 I will say that I enjoyed the pool playing and the Ost was nice.

If you like True Beauty, The Beauty Inside or Shallow Hall (or all of the above) you'll love this. It's such a fun drama.

And I always find it funny when they add pimples to a female actress's face to make her "unattractive". Landy Li is gorgeous no amount of pimples is going to change that fact.

Her husbands mother is a piece of work and the husband is pure decrement but you shouldn't let that derail you from this drama. It was a really good watch.

The first episode was so sad. I'm going to be going through a box of tissues watching this. I remember people saying The First Frost is the Rain to Hidden Loves Sunshine and they couldn't be more right.

20 Episodes in and I think it's about time I drop this. I was under the impression that this was going to be a chess match on who can scheme the best. But the FL loses a lot and the drama is almost over. I had high hopes for all the women but they do stupid things and become highly emotional. Also Zheng Ye Cheng is barely in the drama and the editing has been a mess. I love Cecilia Liu but this drama isn't it.

I was on the edge of my seat this whole drama, it was that good. I hope Bai Jing Ting and Zhao Jin Mai do another drama together in the future. The romance was subtle here but the chemistry between them was some of the best I've seen in a drama.
