The perfect ending for this drama would be the FL lives a long fulfilled life in that era with the ML, and when she dies, she wakes up in the present timeline and meets the ML again, and he remembers their time together.
This drama had zero substance. The storyline is nonexistent, the romance is artificial (when exactly did they fall in love?), and the intimate scenes were straight trash. I swear it would be two lines of dialogue, and then they'd go straight to kissing because there was no more lines. Also the kissing scenes were terrible. Han Jae Hun was straight eating his face (zero passion), and the intimate scenes were equally as bad because what even was that? Han Jae Hun would put a piece of cloth on Kim Hae Jun and really do much of nothing. Quite embarrassing if the writer/ director was going for BDSM.
They are dating without being official 🥰I love them! The second couple is equally good.
I like the second couple as well. The dinner scene with the 2ML's family and Jelly Lin's character was really cute. They already consider her there daughter in law.
I can't believe a lot more people aren't watching this drama. It's really good and Bai Yu and Zhang Ruo Nan scenes together have been my favorite. They aren't a couple yet but they very much feel like one.
I was expecting to just watch one or two episodes to get a feel of this drama (because I'm already watching so many drama atm) but this was so good that I ended up breezing through all four. I don't know if romance is a factor in the future but the leads have really good chemistry.
This drama was fine (I'd put it on the same level as Exclusive Fairytail), not extraordinary or great. I liked the main couple's relationship. It felt very natural how they progressed from friends to lovers. I also like the second ML. He had zero chance, but poor guy tried his best. He was written well and didn't annoy me while on screen, like 2ML's at tend to do at times.
The only thing I didn't like, and pretty much ruined some of the drama for me, was the second couple. They were that couple that broke up over dumb things and constantly got back together, and when they broke up, they made it uncomfortable for everyone around them. It was so obvious that they shouldn't be together, but the writer kept pushing it. Honestly, what a waste of screentime.
Anyways, this gets a 7/10 from. It has zero rewatch value for me, but again, the leads are cute when they finally get together.
You can tell this is dated and made in the early 2010s, and I love it. I grew up watching dramas around that era so this feels so nostalgic to me. I hope they'll release more older dramas in their vault.
same like Ha Ran & Ha Dam have literal golden retrievers as their lovers ! While she's stuck liking someone…
I don't mind his rigid personality actually but I agree with you about the noble idiocy mindset. He actually witnessed her crying as a kid when her parents died and knows that she tends to cover her pain with smiles but still purposely choose to hurt her while still giving the poor girl mixed signals. All I know is he better redeem himself in the next episode because at this point Ha Yeong deserves better.
there is 20 more episodes? what is the story going to be about?
A large chunk of course is going to be business, there seems to be a couple of love lines with her friend and her mom, her father's family mess is still ongoing, her business partners ex wife seems like she's scheming to take them down, and of course the romance with the leads (I feel like we're going to get a wedding), also the ML seems to have a lot going on when it comes to his job. That's a good deal for 20 episodes.
I love the glow-up of the mom. I hope she does start dating the Mayor, though. They make a cute couple and she's always smiling around him and he's a major upgrade from her ex-husband.
As I watch this show I feel bad for the second sister the most. She's the one always smiling, always putting up a brave front, and comforting her sisters while suppressing her own emotions. Both her sisters have men who love them, and for a minute, she thought she had found someone that loved her as well; only for him to tell her that he has no feelings for her. It broke my heart watching her be strong in front of him while being in pain that the love she has for him wasn't reciprocated. And then crying in the restaurant alone when he left.
The only thing I want in the next episode is for someone to comfort her for once.ðŸ˜
Sooner or later y’all will realize Changyu really doesn’t deserve Xie Zheng 🙌
Yes because Xie Zheng is so perfect. Not like he lied about his identity during their marriage. And it's not like Chang Yu risked her life time after time again to make sure he was safe over her own life. And lets all forget Chang Yu is the only reason he is alive in the first place. But yep she doesn't deserve the ML.
Not her telling him multiple times that she indeed likes him, and his reply being "You're just saying that to cheer me up." She proceeds to tell him again why she likes him, and hours later, as if he still doesn't believe it, asks her to tell him that she likes him. Bruh 🤣
I forgot this man is a Marquis because he comes across as a love-sick puppy when it comes to Chan Yu.
