He is the ML but this a female centric drama and they stayed close to the source material where it's focused on the FL. He stated that his role involves a more restrained, background-supportive presence rather than constant front-and-center action.

Liu Yunning said on his live that he won't have that much screentime, but I'm still tuning in regardless.

I don't understand why the rating is so drastically low. This is such a cute short drama.

This is such a good pairing.

I'm only on episode seven but so far I'd give it a 9. The FL is a sweet cutie patotie even if her motives weren't innocent, she still has a good heart and the ML is such a cinnamon roll. There's just too many unlikeable characters: Short hair girl, the manger that refuses to let the FL into college, the ex girlfriend, and the manger's son. But other than that it's a well written drama and the 70's vibe is pleasant to watch.

Like just playing in are faces. Even Yang Zi stopped mentioning this drama.

The ending was perfect, I couldn't have asked for more.

This gets a 9/10 from me. I didn't read the tags so I didn't know what to expect when watching but I really liked it.

I liked the first half but then the tone and direction changed in the second half. It was an okay watch overall.

I want to watch this so bad, but there aren't any subs in English. 😭

Yes Bai Ju and Shao Yun Fei are together. The drama does a time jump to 2025 and they seem happy and content with there now teenage daughter.

The ending was perfect. The number of times I cried watching these last six episodes. And then we saw pictures of the real mountain patrol people at the very end.😭If you want to know if Bai Ju and Shao Yunfei are together at the end read my next comment.
