I do hope that this is somewhat of the case for Bai Ju and his family's sake. But if he's actually doing something illegal; ignorant or not all bets are off for him.

I'm almost caught up but Zhang San’s diary is very hard to watch. I get anxiety every single time it pops up. I thought it was going to be cute, but it's very sad and traumatic. 😭

Okay they have officially announced her drama "The Doll Game" so why isn't it on MDL, yet? I've been waiting.

These two episodes were really good. Bai Chun just made an enemy out of me. He knows what they're doing is wrong, but chooses to turn a blind eye. He's no different from the criminals he works under in my opinion. I have to give credit to Shao Yun Fei. They have pulled all kinds of strings to stop him from investigating what goes down there, even now he's being threatened but I know from his character, he isn't going to stop until the world knows the truth.

And also props to Bai Ju. From the first blind date she knew there was something off about that man and every time she sees him, she questions him on sight. Her and Shao Yun Fei are one in the same, and I need them back together already.

I breezed through these eight episodes. It was really good. I also love that other inmates had their own story as well.

It was cute, but I also feel gooped, this was just an advertisement for some face cream.

I think we all knew that Duo Jie was really dead, but seeing his bones and his knife was still really sad. 😭

Honestly, the whole drama could have been the mountain patrol arc. But I get it Hu Ge was a "Special lead" so they had to move pass that arc so him gone would leave a bigger impact on us. Hopefully, it picks up the pace soon the drama will be over in 12 episodes.

Four episodes into this second arc, and I don't know what the main focus is. The first arc was quite clear: saving the Tibetan land and animals from poachers. Coal mining? Maybe it's finding out what really happened to Dou Jie but only one person is interested in doing that. I don't know but this arc is quite slow. I won't say boring because I breezed through the episodes today but I want more.

Nope there's no confirmation. Because there's still no body. But, it's been 17 years so he's been ruled dead for a long time.

Her brother has always been attractive to me but I don't think they'll go that route because one she has never seen him that way and two because he said he'll only see her as a sister when he left, and I believe him. He was even putting in a good word about Shao Yun Fei so I think he also wants her to reconcile with him. I'm with you, I want them back together. I feel everything in this drama is just sad and depressing and them being a couple was the only light.

I was so mad. Because why did the writers have him stay for her only for them to get a divorce--they could have simply had them separate but a full on divorce? Nothing good ever happens in this drama. 😭

Well these two episodes were more depressing than the last. Duo Jie was the heart of this show.

I just finished episode 8 but I've been having a nagging feeling for numerous episodes that the FL's maid is the mole.

It's very popular. They got 8,500 heat index in a couple of days do you know how amazing that is? If this drama was on Yoku it'd have already reach 10,000. IQIYI's standards/ metrics are much harder. Give it a few more days it'll get to 9,000.

I can't stand that mayor. If Yun Fei hadn't told them in the letter that the mountain patrol team was receiving 100,000 than none of them would have known. The Mayor took it upon himself to take 90% percent of that money and use it for something else and had the gall and nerve to be angry at Duo Jie. If I were in Duo Jie's position, I would have reported that mayor. But Duo Jie is a good guy through and through and the mayor knows it.

It's frustrating to watch because him never recieving money that he and the rest of the team deserves is why his marriage is in danger and the reason his son took it upon himself to risk his life to earn money. Duo Jie can't catch a break.

Fan Xiao was so obsessed with You Shu Lang and incredibly toxic, and I loved every single minute of it.

The first four episodes didn't impress me. Visually this drama, is stunning, but the premise and story are not unique or interesting. I solved the first case in episode two, because it was so obvious. I have seen this same exact case in another drama. My sole wish is that the next cases are more interesting and surprise us. And I also hope there'll be some chemistry between the leads (I'm not talking romantically). As a pair, they give me nothing at the moment. I don't know if it's because they have a similar cold disposition or because all of their interactions have come off as bland.

I'm not even going to lie, I cried when the reporter left. He really loves Bai Ju, I really hope they find a way to be together.
