He should be overly booked and busy with a main role in the works. He needs new agency because there should be no reason his dramas are this scarce after LFD.
I like your username. That drama was interesting even if it was a bit short and ended abruptly.
I read in an article that the producer found it to be a sad ending and the director saw it as a happy ending. I think we as the viewers are meant to interpret it the way we see fit. I've watched a few of the directors dramas and they have all been happy endings so I see it as a happy ending.
This is one of the few actors/actresses I always trust. She's very selective when it comes to the dramas she does and it reflects well in her acting. So, I have high hopes for this.
The intro song to this drama has a sad melody with lyrics that range from beautiful to hopeful. It gives you a small glimpse of what to expect when watching this drama.
I have to say that I wasn't impressed at first. The first three episodes were not my cup of tea. I wasn't fond of the FL and I hated how the drama started off the bat with a depressing tone instead of delivering it to us in the middle (like most dramas). But the more episodes I watched the more I understood why the writers did that. I also started to really enjoy the FL in the fourth episode (I should always have faith in Yang Zi).
This is a romance story but in my opinion, it's secondary in this drama. People who have had to take care of sick parents will understand this story. It's tough to always have to put on a smile and live your life knowing that a person close to you is slowly deteriorating and there is nothing you can do about it.
I cried, smiled, laughed, and cried some more throughout this drama. Especially the last episode (the wedding and vows were top-tier).
I gave this drama a 9/10. The acting by the leads and the FL's parents was superb. I just hated the second couple. They felt like a filler couple (just there to waste screentime) in my opinion and both were just toxic and at times ruined the vibe of the show. The third couple isn't even worth mentioning.
Based on the Netflix trailers, Monkey D. Luffy seems to be the main character, not Roronoa Zoro?
Technically the whole straw hat crew are main characters but Luffy is the lead. He's the captain and his entire goal is to find the one piece. Without him there would never be a crew.
I don't understand why they have Zoro first and Luffy on the second row.
Dropping or not watching a drama solely because you find none of the men attractive/too old is so immature. I'd choose a mature actor with impeccable acting over good looks any day. I've had enough of actors just looking at the camera with a flat expression and getting a pass because they're attractive.
I found this drama to be mediocre and extremely underwhelming. Aside from the basic storyline I at multiple times felt like the FL was inconsiderate. For Ex: Pushing the ML in the water and not checking on him until I believe a week had passed, standing up the second male lead, and not calling him or apologizing to him until the next day via a phone call...etc
She starts to mature somewhat later in the drama but 95% of the time, she's childish. But I can't give her all the blame. The ML was a complete bore. Aside from him being smart, handsome, and having one expression the whole drama. He didn't really offer much.
The second ML was much better in my opinion. He was eccentric, funny, and the man dressed like he came straight from an 80's mafia movie. But he suited the FL and the drama would have been a million times better if someone like him was the ML. I noticed they fizzled him out mid-way through the drama (and we'd occasionally get snippets of him that span a minute throughout the drama) because it was pretty evident his character should have been with the FL.
I say this all to say. This drama isn't terrible. If you have nothing better to watch and simply want to turn your brain off for 30+ minutes then this is the drama for you. It gets a 7.5 from me.

*This felt like true beauty all over again. ML was Su Ho and SML was Seo Jun.
