You can't fully blame the actors. They're just reading of a script. A script that could have been better if they went more by the source material. DYX is good he has tons of dramas lined up and he's stated that he loved working on this drama with the FL.

Every time I see him in a drama, I smile. His characters are always so lovable. So happy he finally got a ML role.

I liked the first 6 episodes but I'm not really feeling these last four. This 2nd life is too long and predictable. I want them to move on already.

This is the first drama I've watched of He Hong Shan in a role that wasn't her being a villain, lol.

The FL entered the home with an ulterior motive as well (remember she thought the ML was her mom's killer at one point). He did not reject them because of his first wife even when she was alive one of the concubines stated that he'd still come around but he ignored them and focused all his attention on the FL.

I get that he wasn't in love with any of them but he still married them. The least he could do is show some affection. One had his child (that he rarely saw), the other was forced to get an aboration by his evil mom and was no longer able to have children, and the other although evil was madly in love with him so much so she that her status was lowered. If he showed just a sliver of affection or iota that he cared about them as people then I'd have respect for him and root for his relationship with the FL. I'm almost sure most of the events that happened wouldn't have occurred if he did.

The seventh life should be them not remembering. But I agree a nice rotation well keep it interesting.
