Woshh! Today's episode was so legit! Since the first episode, I always thought this drama was too dark and too…
Honestly, the most hateable character here could easily be the Minister Park instead I grew loathed the King ๐. This episode justified Minister Park's action. I mean, he helped the previous king to set up a new dynasty because the old one was too tyrants. But the previous King was just too weak to be a King. So he was raised to be the real King himself with his own power. Then with what audacity did both of the previous and the current King think they could ask for his absolute loyalty when both of the kings were incompetent enough to prove themselves? In an era and place where 'democracy' isn't yet a common idea and monarchy was the only governmental form justifiable by its society, Minister Park actually did very well. And if the King wants absolute power then he must fight for it, yet he was just hopeless ๐. Till episode 7, I thought Minister Park was unbeatable. But, episode 8 gave me clarity that he was not invincible, none just yet good enough to face him until Miss Yoo/ex-crown princess/Miss Park join the game. She nailed it! And I am hooked on it. With only a single move she could make the powerful Minister Park back off even admiring her wisdom. Truly living her name/ description of her from her father that she was the only one qualified enough to be a queen and if she was born as a man, she would be a great Minister. Ironically also proved, how incompetent the kings were. I mean if he isn't capable enough to play the game and take the favour on his side, then he should satisfied with being a king by blood!

I know is like a chess game but like playing the same game over and over nothing moves forward....
There's "fighting for justice" but not "action" tags in it. But I guess, Good luck ๐ Besides, if you do not know what is chess game, don't mislead others by the same empty assumption, that's too funny ๐ฆ
Ok, next week is the last episodes. I can't hold myself from saying this no more! Many discussion in this comment section believe that FLX didn't know BFX real identity but I think opposite. Since the very beginning, when both of them BFX & HFX was in the carriage and HFX talk about how FXY became the only person he approved, I had got the message. He knew that BFX is FXY ๐. And about the mid drama when he met her brother, I do wonder why he acts like that. But, if indeed he do not know her true identity then it will be his biggest flaw and writer biggest mistakes. And it was Yang Yang then one gave me the signal not Hei Fengxi lol ๐
Well, I love today's comment section. Full of rants and desperation ๐คฃ which is quite funny. I was baffled too lol ๐ by how dumb the sect leader was ๐ He was exact Cinderella of this story. Always impulsive, think and talk wise but do opposite, and always need to be rescued. What a stupidity๐ค
The interesting thing about this drama is that it inspired by historical context but completely fictional. So, I have enough curiosity and possibility laid on my plate.
Thank you for your comment, I recently watched Life on Mars it was pretty good. My kid is a huuuge HP fan and…
I do re-read the book at the moment. Got no chance as a child and only able to afford the film if they air it on television. HP indeed a story with undeniable influence over my life.
*Life on Mars (Korean Remake): I've been re-watching it for like countless time and there's no specific reason for it. Whenever I feel like there's nothing good to watch at the moment, I'll come back and watch it again. *Harry Potter series: I have rewatch all HP series more than anything else. I even played it on just for company me to sleep or eat. I even remember most of the dialog. * The other re-watch-able work like Mr Sunshine, Joy of Life, and maybe Crazy Little Thing Called Love (Thai version), I do rewatch it, but not as much as the first two.
Did anyone realise, Yan was never once KIA. As a newbie to the day he became veteran, he just never died in the battle. Mad maybe, during the drill with his old regiment. But, no matter how disagreed Yan superior with his loner character, they just never able to get him killed. ๐ค๐ฌ๐
