I dropped this drama a long time ago but im going to try to watch it again.🥲
I kind of feel like dropping it because I can't deal with weak and self conscious female leads. I understand from the perspective of her background but it's still so hard to watch. I hate watching female leads just take all the crap thrown at them like they deserve it but I'm holding on because it seems like it'll get better 😌
add scandal to her name and you'll find conclusive results but she was being manipulative and controlling to her boyfriend and basically controlling his career. I think they have some text messages as evidence and this trigger other people to come forward about her behaviour and supposed bullying she did in middle school. I'm not to sure about the bullying but she was definitely ruining her boyfriends career because she didn't want him doing romantic scenes and being with certain actresses in movies. She didn't hurt anyone to the best of my knowledge so I think she can still be redeemed and offered a second chance.
I think the ending was pretty good but I originally felt that he fell in love with the crazy modern Jang bong-Hwan,…
very good question , I wished they would have touched on the condition for their exchange and the reason So Yong couldn't come out like a sharing body situation or just touched on where she was the whole time lol. In most instances there's usually a past life connection but they didn't really touch on specifics but still one of the best dramas.
I used to think this drama wouldn't be fun but I finally gave it a go and it's chef's kiss amazing (lol get it?)…
I think the ending was pretty good but I originally felt that he fell in love with the crazy modern Jang bong-Hwan, the one who went to brothels, loved cooking and drew up the military book not the prim Kim So Yong. They did try to integrate the two personalities at the end but I just feel like it's not the same.
I felt that too but after thinking about it I realized that's just how the time travel troup works for the most…
That's the issue my conjecture and the this scenario, they were able to basically share bodies but the same instance happened with Qu tan er in The Eternal Love but there was a key to their switch and they were different incarnations of each other. This aspect is very plot holeish tbh, I feel like they could have delved into it , makes me wonder if the original chinese one touch on it?
That was some real-life homophobia at the end. What other reason would they have to conveniently switch them back…
I felt that too but after thinking about it I realized that's just how the time travel troup works for the most part. It's a precedence that's has been set even by the girl to another girl transmigration. Also after rewatching it , I'm theorizing that Jang Bong Hwan was Kim So Yong in his past life because his behavior and the Queen's dad behavior is a little similar. Especially reacting to the baby moving.
But XL is his Gongye friend from immortal arc, even though she knows he will exist in immortal arc still she wants…
I'm thinking about from a wider perspective she's here to basically save the world and right now XL dying will guarantee peace for a lot of people not to mention he can't even have a good life in the mortal arc or even live if she doesn't grow the love threads. She's basically putting more distance between her TTJ
Li Su Su was such a badass and cool main character during the first arc now she just sucks because how could she forget her entire mission and betray her lover so many times over XL. It's so infuriating. How can they even recover from this. How many times does she want to lose the spikes?
transmigration. Also after rewatching it , I'm theorizing that Jang Bong Hwan was Kim So Yong in his past life because his behavior and the Queen's dad behavior is a little similar. Especially reacting to the baby moving.
