Title The On1y One
They’re not married, Sheng’s father is dating jiang’s mother and he asked her to move in with her son without…
It's not even a trope - as in a drama trope, this is in the original novel. And the novel is great.

Title The On1y One Spoiler
Lmao not me watching the shows without any spoiler or synopsis realizing it's a trope ( step brothers) that I…
They're not stepbrothers of any kind, the parents don't stay together throughout the story, they're forced to separate as teens and will meet again as adults.

That good enough?

You could try oceanofpdf. Look for A Certain Someone by Mu Su Li.

ETA You could also look for Copper Coins and First-Class Lawyer by the same author - she's GREAT at what she's doing.

I don’t agree with this statement at all. They’re written, acted, and produced by Koreans. They don’t look…
So that's a you experience, then. Why presume all other shows all over Europe are the same? Maybe it's selection bias - do you watch a lot of police-themed dramas? Like Midsomer, Sherlock, etc? Those do kind of have a repetitive and seasonal rhythm, and I did mention they're the usual exceptions - but not most of others.

Unless we count the Turkish melodramas too, LOL.

Title Where Does the Sea Begin Spoiler
After ep 3.
Yayoi is kind of pushy about this, I'm pretty sure she has the best intentions BUT she doesn't even understand her own mind. Does she expect to just fit into the mould of a mother out of the blue? And does she expect Umi to become the kid she aborted years back? Because if she ever played the what if game, she definitely completely imagined a life that child would have had - is she going to try and make Umi live that life?!

I love how insightful Natsu can prove to be when given time to react. He's grown up not really undecisive, IMHO, but mostly TOO reverent of others' opinions and decisions in life. It was clear he never wanted to sign the abortion agreement, but when Mizuki was so pushy AND had already decided AND it was HER body, he reluctantly agreed FOR HER. Not by his own choice.

His quiet and awed observation of Umi makes me wonder how Mizuki acted with him when they were together. Always leading, always doing whatever SHE wanted and not giving him enough reaction time and he STILL notices that Umi is the one hiding her pain and trying to comfort her adult-to-adult (I loved the counter-part of Yayoi doing the "normal" quieting down of the kid so that she doesn't distress herself... That's not healthy, is it? It shows Yayoi still playing at mom, not really understanding that this is another human being with actual emotions).

I loved this episode.

I don't know what Tsuno-san's problem is, but maybe he's assuming that, since the kid happened and Mizuki raised her alone while Natsu signed the papers, then Natsu must've not wanted the child and that forced Mizuki away?! If that's the impression she left everybody with - maybe she thought she didn't owe anyone an explanation, but also she should've told them about Natsu while she knew she was going to die - Mizuki STILL is a c*nt!!

I love Mizuki's mom, though, Lovely actress and lovely character - I hope she and Natsu decide to help each other through the teething problems of raising a kid. And I am not certain I want Yayoi a part of that - maybe she needs her own biological child to better understand motherhood, not a ready-made kid... (I mean, nobody asked Umi if she wants another mother, either!)

ETA After ep4, well, I take some of it back. She realises she can't really do it for now. That's progress already.

Dropped in the middle of the 4th ep (can't force myself through it, not even at 2x speed).

Are these men or children? I am used to Thai BL making the leads chilidish but this is way too much for me (I was already skipping the "novel" bits).

*sigh* I really wanted to like it, but it's not for me. Have fun!

P. S. The only things I actually liked because they were playful were the chatroom scenes. But they're not enough anyway so...

After first ep: this is going to be a tearjerker, isn't it?

And I don't even care how much they try to explain what Mizuki did, she's a c*nt and nothing will excuse what she did in my eyes.

Seriously this is Gravitation but with the roles reversed - Xiao Hai/Shuichi is the songwriter this time and Neil/Yuki Eiri is the singer :D

And is it just me but does Michael Chang look (quite) a lot like Gun Atthaphan?? I like him implicitly just because he looks so much like Gun.

Things I like about this series: it flows so naturally. A lot of more hyped dramas don't flow well, this one does. Also, while the music isn't stellar, it's music not just a try at it.

Things I don't like about this series: WTF are those 20-min eps?? *sigh*

ETA And this obviously has me going through Gravitation's OST YET AGAIN dammit, LOL. Blind Game Again, Anti-Nostalgic, Predilection, anyone? :D

Title The Untamed Spoiler
Totally Jiang Cheng 's hatefulness towards WWX is understandable. There's no one beside him whom he can vent out…
He loves WWX the most, so he's entitled to hate him the most for what WWX actually DOES (because yeah the drama excuses him a lot, but it's all his own doing, what happened to his family.)

I'm Team JC on this, LOL. (And Team WWX all the other times).
