As expected, he's letting LSS kill him to get the world rid of DG. Dammit.

The editing of these two eps was all over the place. I wish they'd stuck to a linear timeline, the flow wasn't just right.

I don't care for YBC/MN's reform arc, again, who cares. At least they found her something to do.

SY and MJ are gone, oops. Di Mian really shouldn't have taken out SY, she deserved better. Also, TBH, I am less than impressed with the actor playing DM. I felt basically nothing about his "I wanna be DG, I'm gonna walk over bodies to do it" impersonation. He and Cen Leader could have done better.

I am really sad about these two eps though. I hope they get a chance to re-edit and re-do them before they come up on NF, or something, anything to improve the flow.

EDIT PS WHY THE HECK IS GYJW SO HANG UP ON TTJ??? Is it jealousy? Is it him becoming obsessed with his past life?? Xiao Lin never deserved such an idiot clone, dammit. PYZ take the damn clone and drown it!!

I had not much hope for the Immortal Sects, but GYJW really really dissapoints me.

Might be baker-boy too, he's not out of the suspects' list. But he seems genuinely interested in One-Per, he even started a possible maybe-BFs to fight-off list, LOL.

I think it's the guy who calls the girl by her name all the time though.

Watch the trailer. It tells you enough but not too much (one of the better trailers lately, IMHO).

The manga is pretty short and they need more content LOL (the zoo is not in the manga for example).

But it is very cute, and the kid is the cutest!

The theory I was speaking about but I wouldn't hope to find again in the back comments, LOL, is that in these last eps TTJ will merge with ADG and maybe let himself be killed by LSS in an attempt to get everybody rid of ADG in this second timeline.

And then they - the merged TTJ and ADG - would go in the parallel timeline and become DG1 in order to ensure LSS is sent back to change everything and make the future with no ADG (for a while) possible.

DG1's forehead sign is the same as TTJ's (no ADG included), he seems to hesitate in killing the masters in the beginning (even asks them to activate the Mirror of the Past, juuuust in time for LSS to watch his past through it), at one point SY is actively stopping him from using the Bone Refining Seal to kill them too soon...

Maybe they planted some hints that won't come to fruition, but IF they do... it'll be an awesome thing.

Or maybe ADG got some hints of probable future(s) and got a bit dishoriented when recognizing faces he's known in other lives...

Like his costume in Xiao Lin's wedding party is the one in the cover above, LOL, WITH the forehead sign that he already HAS at the time, since he started absorbing demon energy.

Also, when they're watching the fireworks in the festival chariot, after the dance, after she takes off his mask, the lights hit his eyes and make them green - olive green, like ADG's.

Also, first ep... DG1 puts his hand over his heart when LSS is attacking him, as if she's the one who put those nails in him (didn't happen in the first timeline) or as if he has feelings for her (no love threads in first timeline). A few hundred comments back I said I had a theory about a certain time loop twist... Four more eps to see if I was anywhere close to it.

So, I'm re-watching the beginning (got caught in it, can't skip LOL). And I noticed some very nice foreshadowing...

It's the kid who "played" newborn TTJ (the one left in the Cold Palace). The costume is from the first era, the hostage prince times (one from when he was still trying to be like Xiao Lin and just got beaten down by Prince Wu - again).

(I'm doing re-watches before the ending, it's fresh in my mind. That doesn't mean they couldn't re-use it later... but I doubt it. It's probably just a BTS pic)

It was freaking obvious she said it with no malice but my jaw dropped too. I mean, his father had to die and his grandfather's touch and go all the time since, and she's saying "this is great (for me)" even if it's for the sake of the victims too. And what, now she wants him to be her sidekick through her whole investigative career?

... And then to stop him cold when he tells her about the other person with the girl.

Nah, she lost huge points with him. And me, TBH.

It's either the father or his friend then. Will the doll case ever be complete?...

The last one seems to be with a vengeful ghost. And is that lady the one who actually makes all the ink connections? Is that what she means by having lived for too long and wanting to die?

And is PYY's grandpa keeping her there, and passing her to PYY to solve more cases?...

Edit: the thing baker-boy said, about not calling people you've lost by their name, even when talking about them, hit me deeply. It happens to me and to most everyone I know and we all need conscious effort to name them.

That man will be the fourth sidekick - the psychologist. He might bake too sweet, but so far he's the most human among the whole bunch.

But if the original set up was that TTJ had to die in order for the bone to be activated and ADG resurrected, he was a mortal then and wouldn't his soul be in the Nether River? He - TTJ - doesn't have an ounce of divine essence in him at the time of death. He'd be gone.

Something is sneaky here. I think there's a twist coming up and if it's this one... if it's well-planned, it'll be awesome.

So little time left, so much to wait until then LOL.

Argh, point 2. seemed to be the solution but then I remembered that DG1 (if he's separate) would have been the merged ADG and TTJ who didn't meet LSS and never fell in love with her. He'd only know YXW and it wouldn't be a nice memory.

UNLESS. TTJ has always been a good guy, even when not getting love threads because of reasons, so he really would try to make it hard to the DG1 to be totally in control and destroy the world. I could excuse the rest as part of ADG's inner conflict with the TTJ side of his existence. I might even consider they've been merged so badly so far that he's in fact trying to wipe out anything that is helping to keep remnants of TTJ's soul active.

If they don't go the route of complete loop and make DG2 be DG1 and find another solution, I'll be telling myself this, LOL. So thanks for finding a route around the problem :D

Then again. If TTJ died 500 years in the past, how come the DG1 remained quiet until suddenly attacking the sects? It's a long time not to subdue one hopeless soul with no love threads... But I'm willing to overlook it and decide for myself if it's actually the way I'm thinking (sounds way better as an origin story for DG1 LOL) depending on how they end it after all :D

That's just it, they didn't know he existed before he started attacking the sects. GYJW1 is talking to LSS and telling her - 10k years ago, the ancient Devil God was felled and now this new Devil God abruptly appeared and we don't know his origins or name, how can we kill him? It definitely sounds like it was totally by surprise.

And when he has Master Qu and Master Zhaoyou, he's taunting them into activating the Mirror of the Past (which in turn will show LSS his past identity and make certain she can find him when she goes back). He's even promising to let them go if they do it.

BTW they're using the Devil-Subduing Pillar set to have DG1 chain up and mess with Master Zhaoyou :D and this time no links broke LOL

There's a moment DG1 is using the Bone Refining Seal's black fire showers to confine the masters, and Si Ying comes to him to warn him to stop (and he does). That's pretty strange.

Then Jing Mie just "accidentally" allows them to steal back the Mirror of the Past and pass it to LSS...

The fact DG1 says "it's you" isn't that strange - 1. she just nicked him with her harp-sword whatever it is, and then is coming back for another try so he's just recognizing it's her again, or 2. he recognized the wife from 500 years back who killed him before ADG revived LOL. But if he WAS DG2 come to be DG1... he would definitely recognize her. Maybe if she kills him it does something to TTJ's soul so that most of the control goes to the DG revived and if he's indeed gone to the past, he can't even feel all that much any more...

.... Maybe it's wishful thinking. But it would make a great twist if it happened. Not sure how it would be solved though.

I definitely hope there's no hypnotists' war going on or that they're not trying to make it somehow into a no-mask Death Note LOL. ZYC is playing LFP like he's L :D

First impression - Luo Fei either messed up in that case from 10 years back (drama timeline) and feels the guilt so deeply he's insomniac, or he was involved or someone dealt with his memories somehow (more hypnotism).

I can't take hypnotism seriously though, so I hope they won't make it such a huge deal.
