This was cute and funny, but there’s on huge flaw XD it’s the fact that all the boys in the story are constantly talking about dating or sleeping with other boys, but we all now that in actual BL they usually both deny their feelings or are only ‘gay for each other’. The way they not so subtly make fun of BL and general romance tropes is very entertaining and I want to say clever, but tropes are the easiest to make fun of so is it really clever? I don’t know tbh. Pls don’t get me wrong I enjoyed everything about this. I’m just the kind of person that likes to pick stuff apart.
Out of a few ppl who replied to me your the only person who thought so, so does this not in any way make you think that it’s not my comment coming across that way, but simply your personal interpretation? Anyway I’m probably not going to bother checking your reply, if you do reply, sorry not trying to be an asshole, but I’m just over this conversation...
Watch "Moon embrace sun" and you'll actually see how good of an actor he really is.
I’ve seen it, well not all of it I got bored half way through. And I mean he’s fine in it but the drama is pretty generic. I’ve seen a hundred other dramas with the same plot and and a hundred other actors playing the same part ><. Trust me, I’ve gone through his whole filmography after watching Real because he was just so good in it and the only other thing he’s been in that even gives him the opportunity to showcase how good he is it IOTNBO.
Just my opinion, if you love Moon Embracing Sun that’s great, I’m glad you can enjoy watching him in it I really am ^^
Do ppl eventually stop yelling at each other in this show? Coz the first 4 episodes are literally just characters yelling at each other at 5 minute intervals. It’s really annoying, mostly because their yelling about nothing that’s important to the plot. They all just apparently hate each other. And Kim is literally House, but House was entertaining and funny while Kim is just annoying. Anyway I hope this gets better.
Do you hate older woman - younger man relationship or what?
Yeah it’s just because the comment section of any website is a great way for those people to make themselves feel smarter, more righteous and better than everyone else.
None of those comments translate to me thinking that being rude to doctors is something only Korean ppl do, which is what you assumed. Literally none of them. Just because I’m talking about Korean ppl doing it, doesn’t mean I think it’s a behaviour that no one else in the world exhibits. If this show had been made in any other country I would have been talking about that country, because that’s where it was made. I know it’s not easy to always understand what a person means, but to draw your own conclusions is never a good idea.
Well, you should correct the name. She is Choi Hong Joo. Not Jong Hoo.
XD your literally the only person out of quiet a few who replied to my comment who said anything about it, and honestly it’s a little insulting to anyone else XD to imply that they’ll be confused by that mistake, it’s so obvious who I’m talking about you’d have to be an idiot not to get it. Also I’m glad you say your not one of those ppl, coz they think they’re being smart but really they just look like a dick going around correcting ppl and they usually only do it to feel superior. So it’s good you claim not to be one of them...
Well, you should correct the name. She is Choi Hong Joo. Not Jong Hoo.
Why? Are you the correct grammar and spelling police? XD seriously though why would I correct every single spelling mistake I’ve made just because someone tells me to? I get a feeling your one of those ppl who thinks that spelling everything correctly all the time make you better and smarter than the rest of us poor dumb idiots who can’t even spell a name right... Are you?
This is the main point of this drama. Most fangirls are not from Korea and this drama overcomes the nationality…
Holy shit you are just a genius aren’t you? Thanks for clarifying exclamation marks, really I could have gone through the whole rest of my life without knowing what their used for.
Also, it’s easy to be passive aggressive at people and then act like the better person because your innocent and only asked a simple question.
If she is and I’m pretty sure your right, but considering that Yo Han is a doctor he should already be in his mid to late 30’s so she should be in her 40’s and moo chi should be younger than her by a few years. But moo chi is obviously older than her and she doesn’t look a day past 31 maybe. It’s just not well executed, the plot and the connections between the characters. Their trying hard to give us constant twists with characters knowing each other prior to the present, but it adds up badly and there’s also no need for it in a plot that’s already starting to become convoluted.
Do you hate older woman - younger man relationship or what?
XD where did you possibly get this idea from my comment?? Were you hoping I’d say yes? If you were sorry to disappoint you but I don’t really care who some fictional character in a drama is dating or how old they are. And if they were real people I would care just as much, as in not at all.
the one and only thing that annoys me about it is the film industries habit of having the same actor playing the same person from the age of 18 to the age of 40. Especially when that someone is in a high stress job like yo Han or Jong Hoo, who would not even have the time to look after themselves yet they look just as great as they did 20 years ago.
And this one fact opens the show up to a whole bunch of timeline plot holes. She should be older than moo chi but she very obviously isn’t, it’s just a bad mistake in a show that had a lot of potential.
XD omfg how old is Jong Hoo if she met Yo Han when he was in high school, but she was already working as a reporter?? Then the next time they meet he’s a doctor, that alone would have to be at least 10 years later maybe even more depending on if Yo Han is still a resident at the hospital but probably longer? Like how fucking old is she? Seriously???
Oh crap well this show managed to push itself into the fucking void didn’t it? Would have been much, much better if Seo Joon was just a crazy fuck who pulled out peoples brains. But the fact that he succeeded just turns this show into a fucking circus I had high hopes and they were crushed It’s like another M Night movie where the plot twists just make you think ‘well why?’ And in the end the characters are just running away from the wind...
Did I say it did? How did you draw this conclusion from my comment? I mean seriously >_< how fucking stupid would I or anyone have to be to really believe that this has anything to do with being Korean specifically and what kind of Utopia would I have to live in to not know that humans are assholes in general to anyone who happens to be their waiter, assistant, check out chick etc. I’ve worked in retail for fucks sake. Omfg I can’t even, did you think you were pointing out something I don’t know?
But you know what the worst part is? Just because this behaviour is common does in no way mean that it should be accepted, and yes every single time I see or hear someone acting like this towards another person it’s fucking mind blowing to me, because it should be.
Is this Dr Do Jehak's case? Where he got complained because he got mad on phone from patient family? Tbqh if you…
Yeah I know navertv, my whole point though, is that believing things you see in dramas is a bad habit and when I catch myself doing it I also actively stop myself. I’ll only believe something if I can find it under credible sources, but that too isn’t always easy.
I like this show, and I don’t usually ever watch Hospital themed stuff.
But... some of the plot points are ridiculous. I know it’s only a drama, but it’s kind of a bad habit that when you watch something foreign that’s very realistic you assume that ppl in that country really act like that. So when I see the patients in this drama complaining about a doctor that’s saved their mothers life because he said that they were rude to him on the phone, it’s fucking mind blowing isn’t it?
Like holy fuck be happy your moms alive and that your doctor was competent enough to fucking not leave his watch inside her...
Then I start to think that Korean ppl really act like this and I just lose a lot of respect for them. And tbh I don’t exactly have a lot of respect to lose for them... I know I’m just going off the things I read on news sites and articles but I’m never going to be Korean so my opinion will always be affected by the things I read about them and lately there have been few good things I’ve been reading...

Bro would you relax? I was expressing my opinion as it pertains to me. For me, the show didn’t get anything right. It mostly obsessed about the main couple getting together and having their first kiss. Which is so far away from why I like k dramas it mostly just annoyed me. Please stop assuming anything you want from one small comment, and please stop assuming that other ppl just aren’t getting why a show is great because they don’t understand it’s themes. Everyone gets it ok? There’s just ppl out there that don’t agree with you. Also why do you mention the amount of time you’ve been watching them? Do you think it makes you more of an expert on dramas than me because oh wow you’ve been watching them for 14 years! Omg clap clap! Amazing! You must KNOW EVERYTHING about them just because you’ve been sitting at home constantly watching them...
