The colossal letdown I experienced after that conclusion is truly beyond comprehension! It felt as if the writers had sprinted through the final act, leaving behind a trail of half-baked ideas. Instead of diving into the intricate maze of storylines that cried out for an explanation and closure, they squandered precious screen time on the boys engaging in juvenile antics behind bars.
How on earth did Lilly manage to slip through the fingers of the law? And for the second time, they allowed this so-called indomitable woman to sit idly by, captured without a hint of resistance? It’s utterly ludicrous, especially given her earlier portrayal as a formidable force.
And let’s not forget the police at the climax! Even with Bison and Fadel cautioning Style against summoning them, it is hard to believe they wouldn’t be monitoring Lilly’s every move. If they weren’t, it raises alarming questions about the Captain possibly colluding with her, which could have spun the narrative into a thrilling twist. The writers utterly squandered the opportunity for an epic clash between the law and Lilly.
Are we really to believe that Style's father is perfectly at ease with the chaos that unfolded? I mean, come on! He was held at gunpoint, was going to be forced to drink poison, witnessed his son’s boyfriend and brother commit murder and overheard their plans to poison another person. Regardless of her being a criminal, she is still another human being about to be unalived. Yet, his reaction was non-existent! The only moments we saw him interact with Fadel were fleeting encounters in the garage and at breakfast. That’s it! For five long years, he believed Fadel was off studying Culinary arts abroad, only to discover he was serving time as a hitman. Now, he’s thrust into a life-or-death standoff, witnessing multiple murders, and we’re expected to accept that his son’s love makes it all okay. Excuse me?
I’d rate it a 7.5 if I could, but in all honesty, I can’t go higher than a 6, and that’s being overly kind because I have a soft spot for Fadel x Style.
not only are the second leads entitled but they are psychos did you see the preview fuji is out of control and…
It's hard to shake the feeling that Sei is going to stick around until the very last episode. He still has some serious emotional manipulation to figure out, especially after losing his family. I mean, Fuji was the one who supported him all those years, right?

He swings from wanting Sei to feel important to acting like Sei's very existence is a bother. He feigns interest in Sei's day, but then turns passive-aggressive when he doesn't get the details he craves, all while sharing next to nothing about himself. Sei is isolated, and it's painfully obvious that Fuji has a hand in that. Whenever Fuji senses Sei pulling away, he resorts to some pathetic love bombing to keep him close. It's unsettling how his facial expressions can shift from soft to icy in a heartbeat. Absolutely chilling. Why on earth would anyone poke at a bruise? He clearly knew it wasn't broken since Sei had it treated at the nail salon. It’s all about jealousy; he can't stand the thought of Sei getting attention from anyone else. Honestly, that behavior is way too intense—Sei needs to get out of there, like, yesterday.
Also the way she broke the gift from sei made me feel really angry with her. (And if someone's gonna say she has…
I can't believe I didn't connect the dots about what was shattered on the floor. Honestly, when it comes to her, I just can't muster the interest to pay attention. It was merely an eyesore to me. She lets this man have absolutely nothing that offers him even a hint of comfort or warmth.
Kaori's character agitates me beyond measure. She exploits Hagi's generosity solely for her own benefit, brazenly presenting a distorted version of their relationship to their friends. In doing so, she reduces him to nothing more than an accessory, completely disregarding his feelings and discomfort. At every turn, she brushes him off, providing neither affection nor support and even chooses to stay at her family's home to evade him. To add insult to injury, she has the audacity to rummage through his phone and then storm out. It would be the bare minimum for her to extend him the courtesy of a conversation rather than simply fleeing the situation.
I popped over to see if this was dropping on Wednesday, but nope! It’s Friday instead. Guess I’ll just be twiddling my thumbs a bit longer—sad trombone!
I don't get the negativity aimed at Dunk. He has shown remarkable growth since Hidden Agenda. I wasn't particularly impressed with his role in that series, but this time, he has changed my mind. I admire his character, Style. He might seem silly, but he's actually quite sharp. While he can be lighthearted at times, he knows how to step up when it counts. I really respect how Style's character interacts with the complexities of Fadel's role. Dunk excels at flirting, plays a great supporting partner, and adds a lot of humor to his performance. I'll be keeping an eye on him in future projects and am eager to see how he continues to develop.
Did I just see that episode nine is postponed until tomorrow? Does this mean we’re only getting one episode this week? How disappointing! I miss Yoo Eun Ho 😭😭
Why did I jump into this drama without waiting to binge it? Now I'm stuck in this weekly torture, and it's driving me crazy! It's just too good to wait for each episode! 😫
