I found the first half of this series to be a little slow, but the second half has been improving with each new episode! Despite his ongoing self-doubt, I adore Qi's eyes whenever he looks at Su Chengcheng when she changes. I love how he's beginning to see her actual self showing through. I keep playing back scenes just to watch Tan Jian Ci's facial expressions. They convey so much emotion and thought without the need for words.
He Yu Chen's mother is really starting to get on my nerves. This guy has been putting his body through the ringer for years, nearly died from being stabbed, endures insults from people daily, all to support her. And she can't even give him the slightest bit of information? Then she has the nerve to get upset, cry, and even fake pass out, claiming he's the one driving her crazy. Seriously, just talk to him! Share something—anything! Instead, he has to piece together the truth from that manipulative second female lead and her oblivious aunt. And for that matter, it’s mind-boggling to me why she would even be this desperate to have He Yu Chen as her son-in-law. He’s got nothing to offer, no money, lives on a fishing boat, fights in underground boxing matches, and has mentioned several times that he's not interested in her daughter and never will be—what’s the point? She should be encouraging her daughter to find a man that has more to offer than one that would pull them both into a greater financial situation! And now the second male lead is getting involved, just adding to the chaos. I get that the tension and misunderstandings are meant to keep us hooked, and I’m totally into it like everyone else, but I can’t help but feel frustrated by the side characters. Be gone all of you! You're not wanted.
This drama will be perfect if they don’t ruin it in the end or put some cheap romance in it 🤣, the teacher…
She's honestly insufferable Sure, she’s at this posh school, but she spends her nights getting wasted to the point where she can barely function. All she does is whine about her job, her students, and being single—seriously, is there anything she doesn’t moan about? And the gossip?
Please! If you’re going to judge others, maybe take a good look in the mirror and listen to your own words, because she’s just as guilty of everything she complains about. Total hypocrite.
I have a sneaky suspicion that the tale of her former student she couldn’t save is going to pop up again, but what blows my mind is how she can just ignore the fact that one of her students is being bullied and does nothing about it.
Her terrible attitude? Ugh, I’m not even a little bit interested in her having a shot with our ML right now. She needs a serious mindset overhaul before she can even think about being on his level.
I came here after completing Futtara Doshaburi to pick another drama of his to watch, I'm astonished he doesn't have more leading roles under his belt; he is an incredibly good actor and easy on the eyes! Truly dreamy. I hope to see him in another main role soon.
I'm a bit confused right now. I'm currently on episode 16 of "Rainkissed Fate," the drama page indicates there are 30 episodes. Then, I found this page that is about the same drama, but it lists 60 episodes. Are they the same show?
It feels like the countdown to the final episode is inching along at a snail's pace. I need a conclusion to Hagiwara and Sei's story like TODAY. ૮꒰っ˕ -。꒱ა
I don't understand the hate for this series. I think it's very beautiful ☹️ I miss when it was on air.
I don't find this version to be particularly bad. My main issue is that the Japanese version carries a lot of nostalgia for me since it was my first BL, making it difficult to view the MLs as anything other than their Japanese counterparts. That said, I enjoy Half and Matmi ( Mio and Aida in the J-drama) even more in this adaptation. Pahn and Chokun both did a fantastic job of making me laugh, and I feel their characters had a stronger chemistry.
