I sincerely hope he is given a chance. The idea that someone can be canceled for making mistakes and struggling with mental health issues feels incredibly wrong. It truly saddens me that celebrities are held to such high standards, while everyday people are allowed to make mistakes, lose their way, and grow as individuals. I genuinely believe that this is part of living, and if people are not permitted to experience these things, they are being held back and will truly suffer. Yoo Ah In is such a beautiful and talented person, and I wish him all the best. I hope he has a strong support team during this time . * Fingers Crossed* for his comeback! <3
On Left-Eye Detective Dec 15, 2025
This drama is absolutely wild. Just when you think you've figured out who the culprits are, another character is introduced into the mix, complicating every situation further. The twists are completely unexpected, and the story has me hooked from beginning to end. It's definitely worth watching, but just a heads up: you might need to exercise some patience with the school nurse, as she can be quite frustrating. Most of the time, she's really annoying, but I suppose they need a supporting character for our main protagonist, if you can even call her that, lol.
On The Yakuza Boss's Beloved Dec 12, 2025
I was pleasantly surprised by this series. While the plot isn't particularly deep, I found the romantic elements to be delightful. It's adorable, Makoto and Ren complement each other well. Even though they appear to be opposites, I wouldn't strictly label them that way since their personalities share some similarities. There is a lot of exaggerated angst in the conflicts involving our female protagonist and the supporting characters, but watching our young yakuza boss come to the rescue was quite gratifying.

The only drawback that might put off some viewers is Makoto's timidness; she has a very low self-esteem and often blames herself for everything. While this is understandable given her previous relationship, it can be rather exasperating. I frequently found myself thinking, 'Girl, stand up for yourself!' However, in the final two episodes, she did manage to redeem herself a bit, not as much as I had hoped, but I’ll take what I can get. If you're seeking an intense yakuza drama, this series isn't it. The yakuza theme is more of a subplot, with the romance taking the spotlight. There's not a lot of fighting—actually, there's barely any—which might disappoint some viewers.

Still, I wish this series had a better rating because I think more people would appreciate it. It's a bit of a hidden gem and certainly one I'll be revisiting. P.S. Ren looks incredibly attractive, both with and without glasses.

I agree. It spoils the ending too. Not everyone is chronically online to know the ending beforehand so to not…
I never even considered that because I prefer to know that a drama has a happy ending before I begin watching it. But you're right, is there a way to revert the cover image to the original? I'm not very familiar with how mdl edits function.
On The Best Thing Dec 9, 2025
Who is responsible for altering the cover art for these dramas? Yes, some images indeed are beautiful, however they shouldn't be the first thing you see when you select a drama title. Although the wedding scene might be impressive, when the image is reduced in size, the couple becomes almost unrecognizable. It fails to catch the eye, and I regret to say that it's quite disappointing. 😭

Title Marry Him in Her Place Spoiler
These two are out here attempting to play chess, but they totally got checkmated in just a few moves, to ignorant to be aware. 🤡

Zhi Chu: Trying to charm Madame Lin, "Oh, you really trust your husband, huh? Did you forget he had a little rendezvous with my wife on our wedding night? Maybe I'm the more reliable one compared to Lin Yun?" 💩This guy is absolute garbage; we've already witnessed him use two women and discard them like last week's leftovers. Now he's aiming for another one, completely unaware that she's the last one he abandoned. How many more has he manipulated? And let's not overlook how he's always attempting to betray his best friend. I'm fairly certain Lin Yun is aware and is simply waiting for the right moment to act. 💩

Madame Lin: Having inner murderous thoughts - "Oh, I totally trust Lin Yun; I would never betray him" But deep down, she knows she never got chummy with Lin Yun, and it was actually Zhi Chu who drugged her and tried to sell her off to his "best friend". 😒

Meanwhile, there's this funny conversation going on outside

Madame Song: "Remember that steamy night we had? Spoiler alert: it wasn't Zhi Chu. I mean, come on, me and you totally have a connection..." 😭 Girl, seriously, stop making a fool of yourself. At this point, I'm convinced she must have been one of those girls at the brothel, given how she tries to charm him. Clearly, this isn't her first rodeo.😭

Lin Yun: "Oh, do go on about how I supposedly had a romp with my buddy's wife while she was out cold on their big day? How utterly fascinating! Please, enlighten me further because I'm convinced I handed her a weapon and just strolled away." 🤣

It's plastic surgery, but this is a mini drama logic does not really exist.
I believe she is merely a pawn placed by Song Zhi Chu to gain power and inheritance. That was his plan from the beginning, which is why he married into the family. If he eliminates the daughter and father, there will be no one left for him to manipulate. He will likely dispose of her once he achieves his goals, and since she is power-hungry, she is fine with being in that role because she has her own motives. It's obvious she doesn't desire Song Zhi Chu but is pursuing Lin Yun. It's amusing to me how often she gets slapped; girl, you should be a bit more subtle with your plotting and choose your words more carefully.

You make a valid point! I was attempting to piece together the timeline with the recovery process. I mean, how long does it actually take for a face to heal after plastic surgery? But honestly, all logic does vanish into thin air. 😭 We've unlocked some secret healing powers these girls have or maybe even time travel! 😂

Disregard my previous post; this drama is going to destroy me. I'm currently on episode nine, literally gasping for air through my tears, it is beautifully brutal, with its depth of emotions and how it focuses on the harsh nature of some humans. When Landy Li cries, you can't help but weep alongside her; her acting is nothing short of spectacular. Bravo!

Not only is this drama engaging with its investigations, but it also possesses a remarkable ability to be funny when you least expect it. I'm really loving it!

I swear Kopiko is the only reason this series got the green light. lol! But on a serious note, this has been one of the finest legal dramas I've watched in some time.

Could anyone suggest some short length dramas similar to this one? I'm in search for a story with a smart girl boss and a protective male lead who isn't overly possessive. Oh, flirtatious banter🥵🚨 and steamy kisses 🔥🌶 are much appreciated Thank you! 💗
