I am actually surprised about those unofficial YT channels. There is one channel that got more views than one clip on LineTV within 24 hours from the series' release last Monday.

Haters have been doing it since episode 1. They do lots of fabrication to bring down this series. It shows how intimidated they are.

I sometimes find this odd though. I would agree with you though but considering Bangkok is the gay capital of Asia, I sometimes find it hard to believe.

Used to be part of a certain circle on my country and what I often wonder is that gay male models or even gay actors have been advised to stay in the closet so they can gain more female fans. But knowing the existence of shippers, it's time for these managers and producers to be less controlling.

There's what we call gay economy. The gay power is real though. But lately, I've observed the existence of 'shippers'' economy. It may not be recognized yet but eventually it will.

I actually follow them. But I sometimes hope that they have their own scripted BL series. But then, I have to consider that one of each couple is not fit to act or doesn't like to act.

And now, if we take a look at Western gay couples who are YouTubers, I would say Mark and Ethan should have their own scripted series. Lol. Their real lives are already full of dramas. lmao

I sometimes think that Tharn wanted to get back at San by persuading the latter to be the bottom. But I know it's not gonna happen because from the personality of Tharn, he will only have Type as his lover.

Ok, I will wait for that scene when Gulf gets jealous. San is bad-ass though. He's a real competition to Tharn's affection. Tar is okay but I know it's not bound to happen. But if the author decided that it would be Tum instead of the step-brother as Tharn's ex, then I wouldn't mind. The actor Hither was so Fiine. I really think that he is also perfect for Mew, err, Tharn. I am not sure if Hither was also present during Mew's graduation aside from Gulf. I thought it was him.

Honestly, I don't ship MewGulf though I find them to be perfect together. The spreading of the rumour was a turn off for me. That's why I understand a few who will sink that ship. It's their decision. And even if I shared that the two might be in a special relationship, I have no authority to say it. It's for the actors to confirm it or disprove it.

But if Mew and Hither would be a possibility, then I wouldn't really mind at all if they have a series together in the future. I couldn't wait to see their chemistry.

LBC was really good but I actually didn't watch the last part. I hope we can insulate TharnType.

My concern is on the spreading of rumours of Gulf having gf. It will still remain a rumour until the actor confirms it and there's the concern of other Mew fans being overprotective. I might be wrong with my assessment though but some people will go to certain lengths to spoil the fun for others. I sometimes think some fans do the sleuthing and fabricate stories so the MewGulf pairing won't be successful. But I also think it's the competition and that they use bad PR.

Before, bad PR was still good PR. But in today's social media sphere, bad PR is a factor for the death of one's career. It's that BAD now. There are many actors trying for auditions to get the main roles in BL series. And sadly, these actors have higher chances of becoming dispensable considering the changing preferences of audience. Many already want something authentic and I won't be surprised if they drop the series because of a likely reason that it gives them feels but it feels fraud at the end.

Again, it's competition. These actors, managers and producers vie for the sponsors' contribution for them to keep afloat or to attain financial success.

But again, authenticity is the key now, whether we like it or not.

Firstly, you can take Diana's advise here and that is to ignore the comments.

The thing is I find it understandable for these people to react that way. We have a right to information. And based from the information, we can make decisions. They ask because they want to know so they won't really invest much in the couple. We have to understand that they do this stuff--watching the series-- because there is something believable in them but at the end, they might end up disappointed when they know the reality, immediately crushing their expectations. I was at that point once but it's not in Thai BL.

Anyways, that's the thing I am afraid of when they promote this series. The fanservice is bordering on reality. There's queer-baiting or that's what I perceive. But I understand that because of one certain factor that you can consider an agenda. One of the things that producers have used is that they want these actors' lives remain a mystery. There's no openness and I agree on one commenter here and that it is important for these actors to open a part of their private lives-- their sexuality. At least, in this case fans especially shippers can control their desire to ship the pair.

I know some of you would say that we should ship the characters, not the actors. But knowing the competition in BL with so many series coming out, I think many people already want something authentic.

Even in the gay community, many gay people choose gay films with happy endings because they don't want to experience the negative vibe considering the present stigma faced by lgbtq people even today. They want something that will put smiles on their faces to give them hope and faith at the end of watching the film. This translates to the fact that lgbtqia+ lives can have happy endings or experiences and that things will get better. Yes, it will get better.

I get that people should watch it because of their acting. But it is hard. I used to really love Titanic and even wanted Leonardo di Caprio and Kate Winslet to be real-life couple. But though they didn't end up together, they admitted to have a special relationship. At least, there's that feeling of satisfaction, albeit temporarily. And that's a hetero pairing. Lol. I was in high school at that time.

Yeah. Same here. I have a gay friend who kisses like wants to make out with girls. Lol. But he just only prefers guys when it comes to sex.

Okay, man! You're unpredictable. But I understand and respect that. ????

Honestly, I am amazed by these actors. Aside from being handsome, they are also smart and hard-working.

That's the factor or perhaps an issue. There are a few who are out and many are closeted.

I know many are crazy about OffGun and even Lovesick. But I wasn't really into them simply because I see the actors as straight just by scanning them. So I never invested my time watching their series. Sorry, if it sounds rude but after watching many gay films being played by straight actors, I think, really think that gay films should have the main roles given to gay actors. That's just me.Anyways, lol about 'don't overthink'. It's not cool. If you ever have an idea behind the entertainment industry, you will get some ideas about the actors and their being human. I won't divulge much though but these actors are capable of attraction and giving in to attraction. And It's not just about work for them. :)

I agree with you that Mew is a touchy feely person. And I'm glad that Gulf is not intimidated by it.

Basing from the recent vids, if I were Gulf's gf/bf, I would really get angry at Mew for being so intimate with my bf. LOL

And if I were Mew, knowing the existence of Gulf's lover, I would try to be less intimate and not overly do any skinship with my co-star.

But seeing those vids though... it's up to you on how you think about it. ;)

If you watch one of the reaction vids of Revil, you can see there that he even mentioned how perfect Mew and Gulf are together. And that they're a Power Couple.

MewGulf is really a visual couple. I have been saying that many times on how perfect they are as a pairing. They really look perfect together with their couple vibe exuding.

I try to be objective when I discern the probability of them in a relationship. I refer to the actors. Applying a specific legal philosophy, the evidences of their interactions as if they're real couple are even published by the producers of the show thru YT. I know it's for promotion or gimmick because it's BL and people need to see the chemistry of the actors.

I analyze the vids carefully. Some of the vids are recorded for fan services especially on their workshop. I think in one vid, the actors hinted that they had to acquire the actor's persona. It's subtly discussed in a vid where they were in the LINE Village. But I also have to consider that these are still rookie actors. Even though they can act professionally, but in the industry they're in, it would take at least 5 years of active acting career for the actors to be considered professional in their field.

And so even if they act professionally, they are still regarded as rookie stars. That's even more commendable in my books.

But then, in some vids, I feel like they're candid and yet their interactions are too natural. So I am left with a doubtful feeling of what is real and what is just shown as extension of their acting. I think we can use intuition in this case based on perceiving their aura, their chemistry and gestures that subtly alert that they're in a relationship. In the absence of any credible source of them having relationships outside of the pairing, people would really think they're in a relationship. It can be proved or disproved though thru the actors' announcement or declaration.

I know some will immediately acknowledge about the presence of any gf or bf outside from the pairing. But we have to consider the trustworthiness of their actions or even their reputation. I don't immediately believe their "evidence" even though I was even called to be delusional one time. LOL

But if you are in a legal field and you are compelled to act as a judge making a decision, it is important to consider the preponderance of evidence versus those presented coming from less credible sources. In this case, there are evidences that could prove they might be in a "special" relationship versus any rumour from dubious sources. We can blame the producers when it comes to the point when people are asked if they really are in a relationship. LMAO. Moreover, we can wait for the actor's announcement to prove this case. As of the moment, we can use the adage "action speaks louder than words" even if we might be called delusional. LOL. Again, we can blame the producers for it.
