It may seem weird to say this, but there are behind the scenes part that I might have known that somehow affected my perception of this series. I can't elaborate though. I just feel like Mew's aura here is not as bright as I used to see in first 6 episodes. I like it in 7th episode because I have seen their intense chemistry. But in this episode, despite their brief loveydovey moments, I feel something lacking. I think there's one interview in which Mew mentioned an episode that he found challenging. I am not sure if parts of what he mentioned are included in this episode. The only part where Mew shone brightly in this episode is when he performed in the drum set. I apologize for sharing but it is something I need to get out from my chest. I can't help but be bothered with what I feel in this episode. My analytic mind is always working. LOL

Agree. I don't condone violence in gay relationship or even in any romantic relationship. I'd rather see them sexual being lovey-dovey because the story is considered a 'smut' so many people expect it that way in this series' episodes. But violent actions are a no-no for me unless justified but still it's violence. It's hard to like someone who is violent.

No, I don't. I am more turned on when Mew played that drum set than that part. Appalling is a strong word if I have to describe that part though. It wouldn't give it justice. But that part, though sexy, left me feel cold towards Type's action.

I agree. I already find this episode to be inconsistent with what we know or expect with Tharn and Type's personality.

One is about the kissing part. I don't really complain this like regularly but I am expecting them to have some smooth smooching here and there as make up kisses. But then we are left to imagine it.

The series started with an episode that many viewers may find hot but for me it was disturbing because it can be construed as an assault. But then the action is justified. And then there's the brief make out session inside the bar before they became official, only fuck buddies. I like that though but it would mean they can be comfortable like that in public especially in that place. But then in the recent episode, Tharn's act of jealousy is not really justified as someone who is deemed to be straightforward. Perhaps, Type was waiting for him to claim him though we can see Tharn being very jealous but I find that part to be insufficient in reaction in the part of Tharn. And there's that bathroom scene, which I would expect Tharn to claim his man but that part, I still find insufficient. There's the sexy part though but then the kicking in the gut or balls, it's something I really need to understand. I hope you are right that it is not found in the novel.

Overall, this episode though it has a good progress in storyline is not really that great as I would expect. However, I am enlightened by San's action and decision though. But I feel like in this episode, Tharn is more passive. Mew's drumming skill, however, snatches my eyes and heart.

I have to agree. Untamed still holds as my number 1 BL novel from Asia. I cried reading it. I may not like entirely the live action series but it once held the #1 spot for the supposedly BL series until TharnType airs. TT is my number 1 BL for me.

I think Lhong's song Be Mine is not really about Tharn and Type. We may interpret it that way if we see it in our perspective as TharnType fans. But checking the lyrics, I think Lhong also interprets the song for his side as he's been secretly in love with his best friend that he can do nefarious thing just so no one can have his love other than him. Kinda creepy if you interpret it that way.

I agree to this comment. The more we see them fight, the less we see their make-up kisses. They have become non-existent. And I am also hot and cold with Type's actions here. I am trying to understand. But I know he did it because of jealousy. I still support this series though.

I used to defend Type's actions here but in this episode, it's hard to justify his act of kicking the gut (or Tharn's ball) just because he is very jealous. I feel like Type is also jealous of his fangirls despite pulling a flirty act with one of the girls.

I still like the progress of their storyline but this episode, I don't like Type's side. Hope for his Reformation in his character.

I am bothered by that scene. I might have to agree what some fans commented here about their relationship getting toxic. Type is kind of a deadly character. I have to see other episodes to make up my mind about Type.

But one thing is for sure Mew always snatches my heart with that sexy acting and sexy drumming skill. And I bet, Type had a hard on while he was watching Tharn showing his drumming prowess.

I feel like the more they are into their relationship, the less we see them make out, like having kisses here and there. No make up kisses and we are left with the imagination of what they did underneath that comforter. I hope they won't pull a DBK. Good episode still, but I feel like Type has become more violent and at the same time caring. He is a hot and cold boyfriend, unpredictable but I don't think I like that type of boyfriend for me. But we are talking about Tharn and Type here. So right now, I am not sure what Tharn really loves in Type.

I also think Mew is mixed. If you can see his IG stories 2 years ago when he was doing WTD, he can even be regarded as part Caucasian. I know many mixed people especially in my country in SEA, PH. I have friends who are mixed. There is one who looks Asian when he was teenager but when got in his 20's, he looked white Hispanic.

Perhaps, I read a spoiler translation wrong. I thought San was also Thorn's ex. ????

I am impressed with the social media strategy of TharnType team. I feel like they produce and showcase this show not just for the sake of artistic expressions but they also conduct social experiment through this show. It is impressive.
