Yes, I agree they should be addressed while the couples are still in a relationship but not on the moment where they are having a break to their relationship. Conflicts such as this can help test their ability on how to strengthen their relationship. To declare a break up would just be a cowardly act because it would mean that the partner still lingers on certain fear and that also means there is no trust yet.

Forgive me if I have to laugh at the word 'toxic' as you used here. When we mean of toxic, it is synonymous to deadly. So far, Tharn and Type's behaviours are within the boundary that seems normal in gay relationships. Now, as for the next episode, the incident in which Type hit Tharn because of extreme jealousy may be too much. There is slight provocation but the offense done outweighs more than what should be intended. Or perhaps, Type was at the moment where his rage and jealousy clouded his vision to the point that he hit Tharn despite not being his initial intention. This is a circumstance that seems to be qualifying for justification. And I don't think this should be qualified as toxic unless the act of hitting the partner has become repetitive. We still have to see what's going to happen next episode.As for Type low key manipulating the emotions of Tharn, that's because it is his way of making reconciliation. You can only call it manipulative when Type has devious intention other than loving Tharn. So far, he did it because his guilt was killing him. He did it with sincerity and not out of manipulation. And I can really say that he really loves Tharn in a way that he knows until he learns more about Tharn and develops his personality to fit in his relationship with the latter. Again, they are in a relationship. People can relate to their actions if they have been or are in in this kind of relationship. :)

I agree to your comment. People can easily suggest this thing but they fail to realize the consequences of 'break up' in gay relationships. TharnType is more realistic in the portrayal of young gay relationships. What they fail to see is that they are still in the second phase within the first year of their relationship. Last episode was more of a honeymoon phase. This episode is a phase in which the strength of their relationship is tested. And as young gay couple, they must deal with it. This thing seems normal in most young gay relationships. Straight girls can learn more about gay relationships with this show than watching other BL shows from Thailand where it's mostly about fantasy.When people suggest a 'break' for gay couples, it may be a moment for the gay individuals to 'self-destruct' themselves. Many of these attractive young gay guys can become promiscuous. They are young, attractive and have raging hormones. It's different in many straight relationships in conservative countries. Gay guys can have multiple sex partners to cope with depression. And you don't want that to happen to these gay guys again in which they get STD's and HIV at a very young age unless they're on PREp.Anyways, that's the reality in this kind of relationship if we have to integrate reality in this show. Again, it's easier said than done. I know many gay guys are getting smarter these days. But most still think with their heads down under when they can't control their libido.Now, if we have to correlate the possibility of a break up, remember that in the first episode, Tharn also went thru a slutty phase, perhaps to cope with his break up with Tar. It' in the dialogue he had with Long if you really paid closely to their convo. Would we want that to happen with Tharn once he and Type decided to break up? Haven't we wondered why he hated the word break-up?I think Tharn loves Type more than the former had done with Tar. Type has the ideal qualities that Tharn has sought in a lover. So, I think it would be hard for him if a break would happen to his relationship with Type.

Just watched the new episode. It's a roller-coaster of emotions and it's just start of a series of conflicts between the newly-minted lovers.

I know many of you think that San is a small wave.. But I think otherwise. He is a big wave. Tar also is too. But there's a tsunami coming. San may be a big wave but I think he's going to be storm surge in TharnType 7 years or I might be wrong.

San is a manipulative asshole. I see him as a contingency if Tharn and Type won't work out. He's probably going to lure Tharn in the time of the latter's weakness.

I agree with you. I have yet to find the real chemistry between SunMork. It may be subtle but it's not really very convincing. It's still the same cliche used as a plot in many dramas when they kissed and Mork became distant afterwards. Not really enjoyable to watch. But it is understandable. The awkwardness is expected but his reaction seems valid if the character is still a virgin. With Mork's bad boy persona, I would have thought of him as more straight forward in dealing with this kind of things.

I actually watched ep6 and I would say it's a redemption for the whole series.

Pete's father is so cool. Kao's defiance to come out to his mother is still valid for me. But I hope he gets to inform his mom in ep7.

I agree to many of you saying that SunMork is a visual couple. The actor who plays Sun is so beautiful. I will be surprised though if he is not gay/bi.

When you mentioned about Meteor Garden, I think you are right in many levels. Meteor Garde0 pf Taiwan was very popular in early 2000's. I used to hate that series though. But by some persuasion from my relatives, I have managed to watch many episodes. I can't say I like it though. Dao Ming Si was, as you said, a vile person. But he was the most popular.

It also has Korean and Chinese versions.

I didn't know that the story was derived from the manga Boys Over Flowers from Japan until I made my research. The Korean version was also extremely popular. The character similar to Dao Ming Si in Meteor Garden was portrayed by Lee Min Ho, who became very popular in Asia because of that series.

I think many Asian girls and women have affinity for tsundere type. LOL

My mother got obsessed with those versions especially the Chinese one. LOL

Wait. I love SKAM Norway, SKAM Italia and then France. The actors in those versions really have great chemistry. And their kisses, damn! I even mentioned in my first comments here that TharnType could be like SKAM in popularity. And I think I am not wrong with my assessment considering the recent success of the series. Mew and Gulf's kisses also remind of those actors' scenes in those 3 SKAM versions. The hottest version, for me, is SKAM Italia.

Speaking of that part where Type attended the Full Moon Festival, there was a tweet from Mame showing Mew/Tharn attending that festival. He didn't appear in those scenes though but based from the tweet, he was there 'to support his wife'. Sweet!!!
