Because they want a series to be very conservative. Very understandable though. I really want to see a series where they feature a gay saint. Perhaps, many of these people will patronize it.

And that makes me think that even if they want to categorize this series as BL but it's not the typical BL/yaoi genre geared for straight women. This series is targeted to gay audience and open-minded women.

That idea about Type destroying Tharn is not really far from my mind. It's likely. He could do things unconsciously to destroy Tharn. I couldn't help but think that part in the trailer where Tharn had to kneel and cry before Type. It was heart-breaking to see that part.

LMAO. I think their characters are having blue balls for being overly romantic but they don't have any outlet for release. Blame it also on the dragging storyline

I really understand watching SOTUS was kinda boring. I still had problem with the newbie acting of Singto. Kris was okay but the development of the story was too dragging. I think the kiss on the bridge was kinda romantic though. I think that part saved the show for me.

As for SOTUS S, I was literally yawning watching the episodes but I did watch it just to pass up time.

I've expected this reactionary comment. Just to explain on what you've quoted, if the actors had gay characters where they became couples in development or were couples at the beginning, then they should be convincing enough.

Regardless of the sexuality of the actors, they should be able to convince the viewers of what their characters hold with their pairs. They are given that part. I've known many actors in Hollywood and even in my country where they had to do research, to be more knowledgeable of their characters. That means if they have to be gay temporarily during the duration of the shooting of the series, then it might be imperative for them to act and be that way.

I have also been watching Shadowhunters especially on Malec but I like the whole series. But I don't have enough time to watch all the episodes starting season 3 and would just watch clips with Magnus and Alec in them. But I'm not really shipping them though. I didn't really see chemistry with their characters, I just think they look hot together. I was even surprised that many ship their characters.

Type's character is understandable. But I can judge his character well after 10 episodes. I feel like it's way too early for me to see his character as such based on 4 episodes.

But in episode 4, I really see character development on Tharn. I really want to criticize his character because I really thought he could be this confident gay guy who could get a guy whenever he wanted based on the dialogue he had with his best friend. But I see a 360 of his character when he confessed his admiration towards Type. Is Tharn already in love with Type? It's too early too say but I feel like he is already. I hope he is not really invested yet. That's why I really need to see the rest of the episodes.

The good thing about TharnType is that it is a Thai BL series that I really look forward to on Tuesday in my timezone. And I think I am not alone in this.

I am not sure if you also watch DBK but it's kind of disappointing. It's really different with TT, sorry for the comparison. But I could skip a clip of DBK and decide to watch it later. In TharnType though, I want to watch all clips in one go even if I have to rewatch it. This is a testament on how this series really works for the fans. It delivers the demands of most international fans.

I had this kind of attitude during Together With Me, in which I looked forward to every Wednesday even if there was no Engsub yet. Thanks for LazySubber for the subs. In SOTUS S, I waited for the whole series to finish because I couldn't really expect much from the couple and storyline. The storyline is bland.

I have seen their chemistry in Kiss Me Again, but in this series, it's like it's gone. And yeah, you're right they are like acting very awkward and it's really shown. They want to pretend that they want to be cutesy couple but in the first episode of the series, it's where I asked about the absence of their chemistry. It's not really anymore convincing.

And recently, TayNew's fancams have become cringe-worthy. They act very awkward.

Regarding Sun-Mork, I can't see the chemistry yet. Their actors should have gone to some workshops to build their chemistry, to create certain personas that can be applied in the series. I don't know how they do it though.

I have actually waited one (1) year for TayNew. But watching those fancam vids, I feel like I don't expect much for this series. Kinda disappointing for me.

There are scenes that are too trivial that I can't see certain connections. They're like fillers.

As for GMMTV, don't really expect much. I have learned it from SOTUS. They don't really care much for international fans. We, BL fans, should focus more on stories and couples we believe to have substance than figuring out and watching BL couples who are straight actors, whose awkwardness in their tandem can be shown on the series.

This series should have changed its title to Dark Blue Balls.

I really thought there's going to have a dark storyline because of the title but I think it's more like cutesy stuff in gay romances. And PeteKao's characters, though cute, really lack certain depth. I get the storyline though. I feel like they want to make it an equivalent of straight rom-com but even romantic comedies show their straight couples with kissing parts. In this series though, I feel like I am watching two supposed lovers trying to be best friends.

i don't really expect much for this show though. It's a failed attempt to showcase a certain spectrum about romance. It's too conservative for my preference.

And I haven't given it a rating until the end.

MewGulf chemistry is really incredible. They have that couple vibe even if we can't say they really are a couple. Many are still hung up with the previous tandem and can't really move on. LOL

And yep. I pray there's no drama.

Their hard work has been paid off. But we still have to see the end of this series.

Just learned that there's a book TharnType 7th year so I am hoping there may be a sequel.
