I liked it too. It was very interesting to see their self in the past and then the present. The drama was also quite popular in South Korea. I guess the reason is the male lead is not of those normal pretty faces that up the voting. It’s too sad because he is an excellent actor. Both main leads were great and had amazing chemistry.

Korea and China have a very complicated history and China has banned anything Korean since many years already. Also, China has been increasing aggressive in claim Korean culture and heritage as theirs (look up the kimchi controversy). The fact is, the criticism for using and product placement of Chinese stuff has been criticised since quit some time but this drama went over board with it. I don’t know where u from, but many countries care a lot about their history, culture and heritage. Art is never a justification for stealing stuff that belongs to others and I can honestly understand the Koreans point of view. We as international viewers need to respect their boundaries and understand that we r lucky u get all this entertainment mostly for free really.

U should read and watch the program that they made about him. He was not just ur typical bully. What his victims shared is so bad including the sexual assaults too. There r a lot of evidence now about it especially after they aired the stuff on public tv.

This is not a new case and was circulating since quit sometime. And those girl got away with it without any scratch. The girl she and the others bullied already tried to kill herself twice and there r a lot of evidence about the bullying that was shared in s.Korea. This case has been proven already since quit sometime but was hushed down. Now with many scandal and people there standing up against bullies, it came out to the light again and those girls are getting some retribution for their actions.

We r not Koreans and we don’t know really what evidence was revealed but it is clearly stated that evidence was released in s.Korea and that why people there don’t want to see her. Additionally, this is not a new thing. I have read and seen this circulating since quit sometime. But it was ignored especially by the agency. Now, it looks like many people there are taking bullies really seriously as they should. The girl she bullied tried to kill herself twice already. Instead of victim blaming and asking why they just came out now, we need to make informed decisions and stand up with victims especially in a place such as South Korea were people are shamed for taking about their struggle and many committed suicide. It’s about time, they deal with these issues in South Korea. And I’m honestly tired of people saying why now.

His apology was very vague and only said that he did dark stuff in his past. He did not directly say whether it directed only to bullying or sexual assault accusations,

It’s not just bullying though which bad as is, but the sexual assault stuff on both males and females that r pretty bad. If the stuff were not real, he would have fought the allegations like some other celebrities are doing. But he already issued an apology admitting to it saying he did pretty dark stuff too.

He already apologised when the victims threatened to share their evidence which was tapes of him committing the offences. He would not have publicly apologised if it was not true.

Well he admitted to it already in his apology letter. The accusations are pretty bad especially the sexual offences.

But they say he sexually assault people including females and males and that the victims have evidence against him and the showed his agency and said if he don’t apologise, they r gonna share the stuff! It’s missed up stuff really. I think the best is to replace him or focus the story on the second lead. I watched him in rookie historian and he is a very good actor.
