I like the ML but I find the dialogue, pacing very boring. I keep going back to it thinking that I must be missing…
Actually no one upvoted this drama. It hardly got votes and reviews before the 6-7 episodes. Votes and reviews were made later on really. I was tuned in here since the start and noticed that. If u want to see a drama that got upvoted just look at true beauty (I’m not saying true beauty is not good or anything! I’m just talking about the upvoting). People were writing reviews and voting a 10 even before the first episode released with subtitles. This drama worth the rating as many of us here really like it and enjoy it. We find it realistic and relatable. If it’s not us cup of tea, that ok. But no bots upvoting here really.
Yeah i agree.. they should be adopted by loving parents.. why the hell the ex-boyfriend suddenly bring up those…
I understand ur points really but no one can make sure those kids will be adopted into loving families. The adoption industry is really ugly in the US and all about profit. Many kids were traumatized by rehoming or being dumped into foster care. Also, they will know the truth sooner or later. We r in 2022. A small swipe and they will get all their history though dna. Also, they can petition courts to open their files at 18. I personally think it’s better to keep them with the dad even though he might have done some questionable and things with her and her family aka cheating and stuff.
I thought they did the second girl really badly. I mean she was really crazy obsessed. Even the second guy was far much better in comparison. Does girls like that exist in real life anymore? I m really questioning that as I have never came across someone like her in real life.
Many states allow late term abortions for elective reasons (not wanting the child etc), it's a sad case.
Most states cut off is 22 week some allow up to 24 weeks but 7 months pregnancy exceeds both. I guess some states might allow further on but not mine for sure. The fetus is already a baby at that stage and can live if delivered. But even if abortion was allowed, we r talking about surrogates here and that’s their body not hers. They r the ones who will be traumatised by the abortion and they r the ones who will have to deal with any medical complications from a late term abortion. They r usually more dangerous and can cause lasting medical issues such as infertility and other things.

He had to do that in order to be able to get them back to China. China does not allow surrogacy. The mother of the children have to sign their birth certificate in order for them to be able to enter China. But she is refusing to do so hence he is stranded in the US with the kids.
Have u watched rookie historian? It was the only drama that did not get very serious. They had a conflict but…
I would suggest u check some of the YouTube clips about it anD see if u like it or not. The swoon had many on their channel. Eun acting improved though out the drama and his character are different than the stuff he usually plays. I liked that it did not have fightings, killing etc.. and the main conflict was resolved pretty peacefully which is rare for a historical drama.
What she tried to do is a crime in many states in the US. As far as I know Taxes state is were most surrogacy…
That’s true, she was discussing with her and her ex family. But, it’s just strange that she did not know that it would be illegal to ask for abortion at that late stage of pregnancy . I mean she intentionally goes to the US to use surrogates to have 2 kids. She even makes sure one is a boy and one is a girl but does not inform herself of the legal process. And even if she wanted them aborted, it was illegal to do so in the US and she would not find a doctor to cooperate with her. No doctor wants to be criminal by doing illegal abortion really. It’s also so unfair to the surrogates themselves. They get paid for sure but that to carry to term and not to ask them to have abortion at 7 months of pregnancy. Even if it was legal, that’s so u ethical and even dangerous and could have medical implications to the surrogates. It’s not her body fo begin with. I think her ex wants to go back to China because it’s were he is based with his career. It may be very hard to stay in the US away from family and friends.

Once again , I did not say abortion is illegal in the US but late term abortions are in most states. And women generally don’t get prosecuted for it as it’s a rare occurrence as it’s extremely hard to do (no available medication or doctors who would do abortions at the stage it get to be illegal) The case I talked about happened in the US but the lady involved was Indian who purchased illegal drugs from overseas. and there r other cases too that I read about were women got prosecuted for late term abortion. Please distinguish between late term abortion which is illegal in most states and abortion in general. Those surrogates were 7 month pregnant and in 2019. So, they were further than the 24 weeks and that happened before the changes to Colorado law. Also, as I said I read the translated scrip of the phone calls between the two families and it was made clear that abortions were illegal at that stage of pregnancy and the actress and her dad were annoyed and suggest adoption as another option to get rid of the kids.

Late term abortion are illegals in most US states. I did not say abortion in general are illegal though there r many attempts to make them so. What exactly being a is 7 months pregnant then! That after the 24 weeks! And no it’s not 22 weeks in all states. Each state had its own rules and regulations regarding that. And yes some women get prosecuted for abortion. In my state, an Indian lady bought illegal medicine from overseas to induce abortion and aborted. She was taken to court for murder. Her case was finally dismissed due to the lack of evidence that the drug really caused the abortion m. But she spent time in prison and if convicted, she would have been convicted of murder with maximum penalty is death (not necessarily what she would have got as that’s the maximum penalty). And when it comes to surrogacy there r rule and regulations that were agreed by all involved parties. It’s not like ur body ur choice arrangement. I read the transcript of the phone calls and it was clear that abortion were illegal at that a stage. We f talking about 2019 by the way. So, the changes in Colorado laws would not have been effective that time.
What she tried to do is a crime in many states in the US. As far as I know Taxes state is were most surrogacy take place due to how comprehensive the laws in regards to surrogacy in that state. But trying to have the babies aborted there is a crime and she would have faced murder charges in Taxes for that with maximum penalty is the death penalty.
Can’t wait :) and Run On is seriously a brilliant slice of life drama. I love the characters. They r not perfect but doing their best. It’s very relatable and relaxing drama. I mostly like the FL. she is great.
Wanted kids to be aborted at 7 months of pregnancy in the US!!! What is she thinking? Does she think the US is like China. That’s a crime in most states in the US and can be grounds for suing her for murder. And don’t plan to have kids if u don’t want them!!!
It was interesting at first but now I'm just sick of watching it , I'm so disappointed in shin se-kyung's choice,…
I personally enjoy this drama very much. It does not have drama or love triangle. It’s a slice of life drama about friendships and relationships. It’s about the daily struggle those characters fact on daily life and how they deal with it. It may not be to ur liking, but that does not mean the drama is not good. I personally love shin se kyung character in this drama. She is my favorite character really. With the hardships she faced since being a child and losing her family, she never let that define her and she is trying her best in her character and personal life. What u say is boring is what I actually love and adore in this drama. It’s more like daily life record and I find this very relaxing and very treatable too. This is one of those rare occasions were I see a drama showing very realistic stuff that is similar to people’s daily life. Maybe that’s not to ur liking and that ok. We all have different taste. I personally love melodrama and crazier dramas usually, but there r times I want to watch something just as relaxing, normal and relatable as this drama.
I think her ex wants to go back to China because it’s were he is based with his career. It may be very hard to stay in the US away from family and friends.
