I did not criticise ur democratic right or freedom of expression on saying anything about the drama wether is good or bad. The issue is how u give urself the right to say that an actor SHOULD quit acting and another SHOULD just work in certain roles. That’s what exactly democracy and freedom of speech stands against and the exact opposite of what both rights stands for. Ur freedom ends where the other person freedom starts and that’s a basic principle in democratic society with healthy freedom of speech. No one need to be told by anyone they SHOULD or SHOULDN’T do something and no one has a right to say that to anybody including urself. If u don’t see how what u said is the opposite of what democracy and freedom of speech are, then u have a really misguided understanding of both concepts. The fact that u been watching movies since long time does not mean anything. I been watching kdrama since they were not even cool but I don’t claim myself an expert because of that.

Actually, most successful relationships that lasted around me were with couples like the first couple including me and my husband. So yes, there r couples like that really. The ones I know who used to bicker and fight did not last long and their marriage ended in divorce or resentments. Bickering and fighting works in short term stuff not in building a lasting relationship. But to each their own. Some think that bickering and fighting spice the relationship. In my experienc and people around me, it did not. It just work in kdrama. That’s why I was so glad to see such a different (no usual bickering and fighting) but relatable relationship that is not common in kdrama.

This comment was for the original commenter who gave themselves a right to say what type of roles an actor should do and that some should stop acting. As I said, we all have our likes and dislikes when it comes to actors. Personally, she is my favorite Korean actress. Also, Siwan wanted to be in a romantic drama since long time. No one has a right to tell anyone what to do or not do with their life even actors. How u would feel if u work in something u like, and some one came to say, u should quit and u r bad at it.

The first couple are the couple that exists in every kdrama I watched. Those who biker, fight etc.. they added nothing to me or introduced anything new. The first couple were the complete opposite. They r a couple who built a relationship with communication and understanding while dealing with other stuff in their life. It very rare to see that in kdrama and it’s one of the very few healthy and relatable relationships I came across in kdrama. Too bad some people don’t appreciate that and fall for the old traps of thinking that bickering and fighting build a good relationship when if they looked around them they would have already concluded that such relationships hardly work in real life.

Actually the first couple are my absolute favorite and the favorite for most people who watched the drama too. I don’t think u have any right what so ever to tell anybody to end their career or what they r suitable for or not. Every actor has people who like them and people who don’t. That’s how things are. Shin se kyung is one of very few Korean actors who I wait for her dramas every year. I hope she keeps acting for long time too. I’m sure u won’t appreciate people coming to u to leave a filed u love to work at because in their mind they think u r not good enough.

The first leads were my favourites and one of the best couple I saw in a drama. The second lead are the usual I see in most dramas. The ones who keep bicker and fight while the first couple were building a relationship based on communication and talking without so much drama, I totally loved them for that and such couple is very uncommon in kdramas.

I agree with ur comment but I find it totally hypocritical of the Chinese government to take high moral stand when they were and still force abortions and sterilization on women with their one child policy that was recently reviewed into 2 children policy. That makes it illegal for any Chinese to travels to have more kids outside the country and there r many who do that. I still did not touch base on those Chinese people who threw their daughters or disabled on the streets or killed them to try for a boy. Honestly, what she did is horrible but I think it has to do with how kids are seen as things in the Chinese society other than real humans.

I recommend it to people but not many around me are Into kdrama. I really loved this drama. It the friendship, brotherhood, comedy, the many underlying points about gender, culture (like the clash between west and east) the science verses traditions. It a brilliant drama especially that it’s the writer first drama.

It is. I liked it very much it’s his best work for me as he showed a lot of growth in this role.

Many people liked this drama. It’s a slice of life and ya those tend to be a big slow but the romance was really good, relatable and realistic. It’s about seeing people fall in love while trying to live their life and follow up their career. It’s definitely different than those love at first sight and unrealistic stuff. U should not let one review decide for u. U can go a read other reviews too. This drama rated at 8.6 because majority of people liked it. But if slow pace and realistic stuff not to ur taste, ya better not watch then.

It does not have Low ratings. It’s average for jtbc and that time of the week. But also it was on Netflix and trending no1 on Netflix Korea. Many people prefer watching on Netflix as they can watch anytime they want.

Can’t believe the journey with Run On ends tomorrow. With all the craze with covid and other things going on, this drama was very helpful in uplifting me. I loved to see such love stories blooms and how low-key but relatable and realistic it was. I will definitely miss it. This drama showed me that I really really don’t like love triangle nowadays and they stress me out for no reason.

Yes! Could not believe people thought this is romantic! It’s not it’s stalking and it’s not ok. I have a guy friend who was chased similarly and ended in a relationship with the girl. It was really really ugly. Not only did she cut him from family and friends, she made herself seem the only person who cares for him. She even threatened to accuse him of abuse if he tried to leave her. She also forced him to go to another country with her a cut everyone. He cried when some friend reach out to him using work as an excuse. He left everything behind after they got him a plane ticket and ran back home. It’s crazy people accept anything just because it Korean.

Can’t believe we just have this drama for one more week only. Wish it was longer.
