I mean in some dynasties even brothers and sisters got married. And cousin’s marriage is still ok in many parts of the world. It’s not that weird.

Truly, the novel was so good compared to the drama unfortunately. They changed the whole beautiful love story between XW and ZZ to create another FL who didn’t really love anyone but the ML just like any other drama out there. The reason why I liked the novel in the first place was because it was the story of XN and her relationship with YL, her love for ZZ, her growth and development of her relationship with XW.

XW doesn’t have a more interesting story. XN herself has a similar past. She was kidnapped upon birth by her dad’s concubine and replace by the concubine daughter. He dad threw her with the concubine to a countryside place and never even cared for her until he knew they were replaced. He brought her back but never took the time to educate her and her mom was even worse. XN has an equally interesting past that everyone seems to ignore. Her dad was also horrible in a different way.
The drama played down her character and focused more on romance but that because what audience look for. Even in the comments, it’s clearly shown how most people want the romance when the romance wasn’t even the focal point of the novel. But regardless of that XN herself is still the main focal point of the story. She was the one who saved the yans in this life. Even XW wasn’t able to save them in the first life. Her entanglement and actions are what creating the change. Even XW revenge was very different in the first life and seemed fruitless after he killed himself. Her actions in this life is what changed his way of revenge and made it even more interesting. If she wasn’t directly involved, non of the stuff that happened this time would have happened. In addition to that, she herself is discovering everything a step by step along the way of her journey. We as watcher even know a lot more stuff than she does.

It’s not out of guilt. She really and truly loved ZZ and in the novel he was the one who let her go. She loved him at first sight in first life not because he sacrificed for her. He sacrificed for her because he also loved her. Her guilt is not the reason for their love. It’s the reason they couldn’t be together for ever. Many of you need to accept that fls in any drama are humans who can also love other people.

She really love ZZ but it was not the right time. She never loved YL but thought of him as a brother. She had very different feelings for both guys and that ok. I think many people just find it hard to accept that the FL loved someone else before the ML. I have seen this a lot by audiences. For them, the FL only exists for the ML and she shouldn’t dare to have feelings for someone else.

XN really loved ZZ. It was not just care. It was love. But it was not the right time for them. It’s ok, even if she is the FL, she still can love someone else. While maturing, she changed and loved XW. I don’t understand why so many people don’t want her to love someone else first. That normal human feelings.

The princess and XN has more chemistry that the princess and XW. The princess even fell in love with XN in the first life when she saw her dressed like a man.

There is a huge difference between criticizing and down right hate and cues. People who criticize use critical thinking that was absent in many comments. I never said she is the best character. I just said she made many bad stuff that she is trying to avoid this time but that doesn’t mean she will not make mistakes again. She is very grey and that’s what make her story interesting and makes her the main character of all. If she didn’t exists, the story wouldn’t.

When exactly did I say you have to like the story! I never said that. I’m saying what the core idea of the novel/drama is and that is XN story.

It’s her story. Other characters exists because of her. Their fate changed because of changes she made in second life. If you don’t like the idea of the story why do you watch then. You don’t need to like her actions. Heck what she did in the first life was terrible. But that’s the main idea of the drama. Her bad first life, rebirth, trying to fix first life. That they main point behind the whole drama.

What do you mean by “does it matter what her perspective is” do I have to explain it again. The whole novel that the drama made with is about HER! It’s her life story narrated by her, it’s her story with different people including the 3 main guys. What’s hard to understand about that. And her love for ZZ started from the first sight in the first life. He was her first love. He loved her back and sacrificed for her. XW was never her first love. He is the guy she ended up with. Why do you find it hard to accept that she loved someone else first.

She was reborn. This is her second life and not a dream. In her first life, she did many mistakes and died young which she hopes not to do this time around.

She wanted to give him the sword because it was a promise between them. It was important to her as part of redemption for what she did to YL in first life. If sword was not allowed as a present, she wouldn’t have been able to get it to him.

You can be ok with it but XN doesn’t if she doesn’t want and she doesn’t want as of now. No woman should be ok being around a person who keeps threading to kill then or almost strangle them to death. It’s only cute an acceptable because it’s a drama.

That’s not how to works. You are clearly misguided due to liking a character. He is a psychopath and a bad person. Only his love for her prevented him from doing as many horrible things as he did in the first life. And it’s not like he didn’t do bad stuff already. Planing a prison attack and killing many innocent people is not ok.

No one can know for sure as the drama is still airing. In the novel, it was toward the end that they got together. XN never realy trused or liked XW. He was the one who wanted yo be with her. For her, he is her killer and at one point she will tell him that. It takes her long to be with him. But that’s not a romantic drama to start with. It’s the story of XN, her rebirth, and her attempts at having a better life.

Reagdkess of the sword incident, the XUE family and the empress were not going to spare the yans. They wanted to do anything needed to get rid of the yan family due to thier millitary influance. In the first life, they (xue and emress) killed everyone including YL dad. YL was the only survivor of the family. XW was there in the firt life too and couldnt save them.It was only due to XN that they survived this time.

Ya as if he didnt try to strangele her to death couple of episods ago! And as if he didn’t threaten her life everytime he meets her! And stop saying PTSD doesn’t count! Mental stuff annd illness will always count.

When did I say this is a romance!!!! This is XN story! I have read the novel several times before it was even made into drama. It was made into drama because it became a popular novel about a rebirth of a girl who made many mistakes in her first life and got a chance to be reborn to fix her life and protect people she harmed is her first life and those are YL and ZZ. She never had any thoughts of helping or protecting XW. He was the one who fall in love when she was into another guy! That’s the main point of the whole novel!

How exactly is he going to exile because of her! Honestly, have you even watched the drama or you just concerned about defending ur bias???
