I can understand that you ship Xw With XN and it’s sometimes hard to see the ship not doing ok at this stage. But XN at this moment is in love withZZ. He was the only guy she loved in her first life. You can see that she hopes to marry him and even when YL asked about it she didn’t deny. Of course in the future it will change as we know as novel reader. But we are talking about this moment. While you might see XW illness acting up when he attacked XN, it didn’t look like that to her especially with her traumatic past with XW. What matters is how she sees it and she saw it as another attempt to kill her. For her that’s something very real as he already threatened to kill her many times. At this stage of drama development, XN doesn’t like nor really trust XW. The future will change but that what it is now.

I still disagree. XN never really trusted XW at this stage. She only trusts him with YL stuff. You can still see how traumatised she is by the fact that he again almost killed her with a dagger once again and told him to his face that he doesn’t trust him. XN is someone who still remembers her first life. When she told ZZ that she trusted him (when she went to the gate of his home), you can clearly see the full unwavering trust she has in ZZ. ZZ was the only person who never failed her in her first life unlike XW who for her is the reason of her death.

YL was truly so pitiful in the first life. That’s even knowing he rapped XN I still couldn’t really hate him and only sympathy with him. It was truly heartbreaking in the novel to see that he wanted revenge against her yet he was still so in love with her. He would spend hours talking to her, he will showers her with expensive gifts and was truly aiming to become an emperor to give her what she wanted which is to be an empress. However, XN in her first life was also very pitiful and misguided. Her family threw her away in a county side place and never checked on her. Even if she was a concubine daughter, how can her dad not care for her. Then it was revealed that she is their real daughter who was kidnapped and switched with the concubine daughter. When she got home, her mom was horrible to her, her dad just let her do whatever she wanted due to guilt. She was ridiculed and treated badly by everyone. She thought becoming an empress will give her glory and adoration she never got. It’s sad really. Both of them had thier demons.

Why would anyone hate for that lol. Most people here are shipping XN with XW. But I have to disagree about her showing her character for XW. At this stage she still dislike and fear him. She only show and collaborate with him about YL stuff. Technically, the only person who know her truly is ZZ as he is the only other reborn person.

Waw you think prison in ancient China has Wi-Fi or something according to your logic! It’s dumb if you didn’t read the novel to come and say stupid things like that. if he was quite sure that XW and YL were the leaders of the rebels who killed everyone including his beloved he wouldn’t spend time helping YL, he would make every possible attempt to expose XW! He will be using recourse at teaming with people to expose XW! Why he didn’t do that? Because he was not sure what XW did or didn’t! He was in prison alone and got just very basic knowledge that the rebels won, his empress died and then he immediately killed himself! It’s dumb to think he knows everything when it very OBVIOUS he doesn’t! If you want to tell people to use their brain cells, maybe you need to start with yours!

ZZ was in prison all the time and didn’t know XW was the mastermind of the rebels and died before leaving prison! What’s dumb is writing a dumb comment without knowledge just like yours!

ZZ helped JXN before the revenge of Yl and XW and was thrown in prison for that. So, he was in prison the entire time and didn’t get to know all the stuff that happened by YL and XW. When he was in prison, XW went to him and told him at JXN died and he can leave prison (because this was the only wish JXn made before her death). However, ZZ who already lost him mom and now lost JXN was so devastated that he wrote his own death sentence and died. He didn’t really know much about XW involvement with stuff. He dislikes XW because JXN sent him flower while in jail and XW distorted it so that ZZ doesn’t get it and cruelly told him of JXN death and also suspects him for still being in charge I guess.

You are not just biased. Your are so biased to a scary degree. You want everyone to struggle and die just because of one character you like. You don’t care for what he himself want as long as everyone else struggles for him. You want everyone to cater to him only. That’s not how it works. Even he with all his resources is hardly able to do anything with the kids case, but you want ZX who is a poor commoner who hardly will got any information about the case to investigate it. I’m not sure how to think of your bias and wether it’s funny or scary. At the end it’s not about you, it’s about him and what he wanted and he wanted the salvation and love with JXN.

The only guy JXN loved in her first life was ZZ. She said if she was not an empress when they met, she would have married him. She never deceived or lead XW. She clearly told him that she likes ZZ as of now. She will be further involved with ZZ in the coming episodes. XW loved her first and deeper. It takes her long to trust and love him back due to their history of first life.

In a way the love/obsession that XW have for JXN in this life time is what will keep him going on and become more human. If we compare him to first life, we can see that loving her is what changed him into a better person and saved many life’s lol. I just didn’t like the reason the writer used for the break up between JXN and ZZ. I felt she did both male leads nasty with her reasoning. It’s like if ZZ didn’t remember the first life, they wouldn’t break up and XW wouldn’t get a chance with JXN.

She already told XW that she like ZZ. So, it’s not ambiguous at all. She and the ZZ will have their story in the coming episodes. They break up for a stupid reason but still it takes long for JXN to love and trust XW. Her obedience right now is just for her fear of being killed by him as for her he is her killer in the previous life.

She tries to seduce XW to save herself and other people around her. But it didn’t work. That was toward the end of her first life. But to her it was like a business transaction not any feelings involved. For her, he was the guy in power, she needed his help to survive and she was used to seduce people in that way.

In their past life, she saved his life on the way to the capital when she was 14 but nothing else. When they got to the capital he was worried she will reveal stuff about him (he said some stuff when he was sick). He was ready to kill her if she reveals anything about him. His only goal was revenge and he was obsessed with it. She also became close to YL who was deeply with love with her but she didn’t love him back. However, in the first life YL family was destroyed on his celebration day. He went to JXN because for him she was his last hope of any goodness. But jXN told him that she wants to be an empress and marry his friend and cruelly rejects YL. Later she became an empress. She meets ZZ and it’s love at first sight for both but Her position was threatened by the xue family and she used ZZ to help her and ZZ was imprisoned for her and him mom died while he is in prison (JXN and mom where the most important people to ZZ). Then both YL and XW take revenge. JXN as an empress is imprisoned in the palace by them. YL became crazy after what happened with him. he start going to her room at night and eventually starts raping her. XW and everyone knew about it but turned theirs eye away. She eventually asks XW for help but it was so missed up when he drew a red line on her neck and she believed he wanted to kill her. Eventually, she kills herself in front of XW and asks him to only spare ZZ because he is a good person and her only regret. I think after her death, XW complicated feeling for her starts. So they were not really in any sort of relationship before. But after her death, both ZZ and XW kill there selves and YL leaves everything behind and go away.

Where do you see JXN ambegious? She is very clear that she likes ZZ now and even told XW about it. There is no abegiouty. The girl was clester clear with him. While JXN worked with XW to help the yan family, she never really trused him about herself nor liked him at this stage. She even told him in today’s episode that she wont see him unless its something to fo with YL. She is now bussy with her feeling for ZZ and they will have thier relashioship and understaning. She doesnt have feeling for XW now and will take her alot to devlop feeling for him becaouse for her he is still her killer in her first life. Thats how she see him and the fact that he attacked her validted her previouse perception of him.

Ok fair enough, you want him to spell blood. But why should it be ZZ? He was the only one to stand in the face of Xue family to protect the yan family and was almost killed? If anything, ZZ wanted to help and protect the yan family just like XW. For ZZ to suspect XW is not at all strange with what he know so far.
And spelling blood didn’t help XW. In his first life, he killed everyone including many innocent people yet he was not happy and ended up killing himself. If anything JXN is like his salvation.

That is even beyond an extreme and uninformed opinion. ZZ never knew that XW was a rebel or anything. He was in prison for saving JXN when XW and YL lead the revenge. JXN only asked that ZZ be saved and she will die herself. XW was mad after she killed herself and went to provoke ZZ at the prison in very cruel way. ZZ refused to leave the prison an wrote his own death decree and died. So, he didn’t know anything about past life or XW ibvolvment. ZZ was the only good person among all the leads and that’s the fact. I don’t understand why you are trying to make the good guy bad to defend XW. XW was a bad person and psychopath. His revenge killed half the city in the first life and that hat jxn trying to avoid thud time.
Also, you and many others seems to forget that the emperor was a kid himself when the incident of the first life happened. Is it not ok for him to be sacered and not want to die? Yes XW suffred alot and that made him a bad and a dark person. That who he is. He need to be accapted as he is mot as some imaginary angelic figure.

my understanding is that ZZ doesn’t trust XW at all. We as audiences know that XW is trying to help the yan family, but ZZ doesn’t know that. For him to be suspicious of XW and brining stuff up in front of other especially the emperor is not strange. He even went to JXN to warn her about XW. In his perception, XW is a bad and suspicious perosn. I don’t think he thought XW was trying to help the yan family. I think ZZ, in his way, thought he is helping them.

I mean he remembers his first life and while he was at prison when XW got his revenge and might not have known everything, the way XW treated him when he went to him in prison was so horrible. JXN sent ZZ a flower before her death, and XW destroyed the flower so that ZZ doesn’t get it in front of ZZ. He also told him that JXN died in a bad way to get to him. ZZ just like JXN, had the most meat with XW. The guy should get his revenge lol
