Do you know that you are basically watching HER story. It’s her story with her own voice. I mean it’s very strange you wonder how she fits it the story when it’s basically HER story and she is the main character. If you don’t care about romance as you say, then the only story remaining is FL story. The novel/ drama is about her, her first life and regrets , her rebirth, her attempts to have a better life with no regrets this time.

Very true. And people seem to forget that this is XN story, her rebirth, her attempt at making the best of her new chance. This is not XW story nor is he the main character. She is.

In the novel she was with ZZ and she wanted to marry him, she disliked XW and didn’t want to be involved with him. XW keep going after her and she refuses him many times. At one point she was glad she was kidnapped so that she won’t be with XW. She got with XW toward the end of the novel. I’m not sure why people are mad at the actor. That’s crazy! Why don’t they bother reading the story first before coming at the characters or actors. This is not a romantic story of XN and XW. This is the story of XN, her first life regrets, her reborn, she attempts to fix her life so she won’t have regrets in this life. That’s why I read the novel. I wouldn’t have read it if it was just another romantic story and most people wouldn’t too as there are thousands of ancient China romantic stories .

This is not a romantic story to start with nor is the story of XW. This is the story about the rebirth of XN. It’s her story told by herself. She messed up big time in her first life and got a chance to rebirth and try to amend her mistakes. It’s about her, her relationship with different people and the 3 main guys in her life. Yl is important because he was the guy she helped destroy in first life and he came back for revenge. ZZ is very important because to her he is the only one who helped, stood by and sacrificed for her in her first life without asking for any type of pay back. XW is important because he was fixated on his revenge in his past life and refused to see his feeling for her and treated her so badly that she fears him the most among the three. It’s is her story, her rebirth, her effort to make the best of the new life that she didn’t get in her first life regrets.

For someone who kept telling her, we need to trust each other and share information, yet hides everything from her, endangering her life with his plan at the prison break out but many of you keep giving him excuses. If that was real life, everyone will be telling her to run from the red flags. What he did to her of not trusting either sharing information is far much worse than her ruining his plans.

Her physical age is 15 after rebirth. However, Her mental age is a lot more and as it’s a drama that centers around revenge, it needs someone with high caliber that can pull it off. I’m not sure she can pull that. She is sweet but that’s not what is needed here.

Her first husband before reborn became an emperor due to her help and her family’s help. He was a very evil really and in her second life she never get close to him again. The ML is a different guy but he is a better man and helps her with revenge.

This wasn’t made in manhua yet, it’s very popular Chinese novel though and center around revenge.

He knew she was being rapped by YL. Everyone knew including her servants and other place people but no one helped her. No one was allowed in the empress chamber but the emperor and she tried to force YL out. It’s really strange why people just want to remember a bird he got for her, and say that’s love but completely ignore when he told her the fact that she saved his life when she was a kid is the only reason she is living now. they forgot that he used red paint around her nick, knew that she was being rapped constantly by YL, yet enables him to do so. He only sent her a dagger toward the end without any explanation and she used that dagger to kill herself. I guess he wanted her to use the dagger to defend herself, but how could she? She would be killed instantly if anything happened to YL.

Yes. The first life part of the novel was depressing. He rapped her and everyone knew about it and turned their eyes away.

Fl love for ZZ started from the first life and it’s not because of of claim of righteous. Fl and ZZ fall in love at first sight with each other. But she was an empress back then. She even said that if she wasn’t married, she would have mailed ZZ. He was her moonlight in her dark and depressing first life. ZZ also sacrificed everything for her in the first life time. He was imprisoned and his mom died while he is in jail for helping FL stay as an empress. When he knew she died, he killed himself. It was very pitiful love. She also only asked that he be released from jail before she dies and told XW that ZZ is the only person she own ps her life for. She talked about how everyone she used either used her back to took revenge (Like YL) only ZZ didn’t. As for know she loves ZZ and they will entangle with each other until she discovers that he is reborn like her.

In the first timeline, YL father died unfortunately. YL and XW were close and started the revenge rebellion that killed many people including the imperial family. Only XN as an empress was kept alive but imprisoned in her palace. While YL was raping her, he was still totally crazy about her and wanted to become an emperor and keep her as his empress. When she killed herself, both of XW and YL had a fall out and YL leave the capital and XW kill himself later on. In the second life, they will stay connected and YL father lives. YL notice the strange relationship between XW and XN when they are all at the borders and he kinda questions when they will be together. So, he kinda accepts that he and XN won’t be together and won’t go against XW for her or anything.

No he didn’t. They didn’t have the time to interact. He also the cousin of YL and YL was involved with her. After the revenge and when they killed everyone, the imprisoned her in the palace and YL started raping her with XW and everyone kowtowing. I mean loving a girl and let her be raped by your cousin will be a different type of diabolical. I’m not sure why people keep saying he loved her. He only stated having complicated feeling for her after she killed herself in front of him. Like her death triggered some feelings and guilt. In first life, XW was only obsessed with revenge. He and YL fell threw after the death of XN (because yl was still in love with her and wanted to marry her and XW let her die.) XW killed himself mostly because he has nothing else to care for after he achieved his revenge. That was mainly it accompanied by his guilt for her death. It’s funny to be how people are trying to romanticise what happened in first life when if you read the novel it’s just dark, gloomy and eerie.

I think it did in addition to all what happened before. The only thing she clung to from childhood is the words of her father concubine (who kidnapped her and put her real daughter in her place) that the most honoured and cherished woman is the empress. She wanted to be an empress to get treated well unlike how her life was.

She went there late in the first lifetime and only saw the masacer part. She became very sick for 10 days afterwards. Thats what i remember from the novel. So, it was not her immagination . It was what she witnessed.

I’m not gonna continue talking to you, it was obvious from the first comment when you immediately started name calling what type of a person you are. Empty headed people start with name calling to feel better about themselves because they have nothing better. I only feel sorry for people who deal with you in real daily life.
