That was a beautiful (real) royal wedding with the two Phoenixes. So funny how XY pinched XL's cheek, but so sad that he doesn't let her know how he feels, and could feel her kissing someone else. Sad for CX too for marrying so many women that he doesn't love, and doesn't have the courage to express his true feelings for XY. If she had all the information, she could make a real choice between all the men who love her. The air carriage was nice, and I'm glad FL finally put his sister in her place. I like how he's always maintaining composure in all situations (especially how he dealt with the situation after XY left the wedding).
I'm so moved by Chi Chen's love that I cried, and so beautiful that XL came to pay respects to the parents of the woman he loves, and that he's using the one wish he has to free XY from the love bugs. I'm also moved by Haoling King saying that he raised CX to be his heir, and the two kings talking about love, and their inability to marry the woman they love despite their power. Impressed with A Nian's character development, and XY's sense for political strategy despite her emotional immaturity.
It must be difficult for the FL as everyone will compare her with Mimi, whom we see as the original Bai Qian... It's disappointing that Mi Gu is a CGI, and that the costumes are so ugly (especially on her wedding). There are some differences in the storyline, but if you watch the movie independently then it wouldn't bother you. The performance of the ML is better than expected. I miss the A Li from the original series (or the Eternal Love of Dream).

I have never cried so much, even starting from episode 2 about the deceased soldier and his wife, until the end when Feng Lai agreed to become the Fire Seal (the first time). I didn't know Lin Geng Xin could be so funny. I'm glad that Mo Fang did not betray his love for Sheng Li, so he did not turn evil. I'm glad that there was an episode 39, so the drama did not end with episode 38, and there was a piece of happily ever after with Sheng Li and Xing Zhi. I really liked Sheng Li's character, but even a strong warrior like her fell for the only man who can protect her...
