Ah that is a good perspective too. It seems like LMX never expected it and can only be in awe - you can see how the two respect each other when they talk (not playing on the same team but mutual respect because they are both good ppl and care about the same person)

Rumour has it that the death sentence is fake, with fake poison. HY wouldn’t do that since he knows LMX does everything to protect DZY but maybe he had to put a show for the public? There are photos and bts snippets of LMX with DZY (when she has grey hair) so he will live.

I see where you’re coming from but it’s pretty clear who FL is in love with based on her expressions whenever ML is brought up. It’s also by instinct that she tried to help him (eg jumping off the cliff after him). She loves him but cannot express it because of the many lives and bloodshed that stand in the way. As good as he is, he is the son of her enemy.
SML is like family to her, someone she has relied on since she was a kid. She wouldn’t survive without him. With all his sacrifices (and also poor health), it’s not out of the ordinary to show care towards him. He is the only family she had at the moment. Tbh sometimes she is quite indifferent and just business when she is alone with him, and even confided in him on her feelings for the ML (which is sad on his part cuhs SML is in love with her and his love for her is no less than ML but she loves the ML)
Looking forward to watching the latest eps tonight. I did skim through it and was a bit baffled as to why they had to include certain scenes - eg. where the leads all drink together and joke around (perhaps to make it more bittersweet knowing what’s to come and to show viewers how they would be without the past tragedies?), and LMX diminishing the things he has done for DZY and feeling inferior to HY. The guy did a lot too and it’s a little silly to compare when they both genuinely care about her. I guess they wanted to show more of the characters feelings but imo not necessary for the main plot considering we don’t have many eps left. Please no more fillers! Also, am i the only one sad that FL has taken the backburner while the two MLs pretty much do everything having more of a role? But i gotta disregard this and just focus on the rest of the eps because we are nearly at the finale!

Not sure how true that is but sounds plausible since he always places her as the first priority, but that would make it a personal decision rather than one that takes in the whole situation into consideration
