How Luo Mingxi understands how much he loves and relies on Linglang only when it was too late for them is sooooo…
I think they included more scenes for LL because she had more of a role in the story vs the novel. The love for LL was platonic, but DZY was romantic. I think the way they just gave LL so many scenes made it seem like LMX was on the fence/confused but even the actor emphasized that he only ever loved one person and that LL was family.
I was kind of cringing watching the whole fake wedding go down. It was soap opera-esque as we mentioned and it…
His feeling towards her was family, she was always with him so it was weird for her to be gone. The actor confirmed that he sees her as family he cares about but romantically it’s DZY. Think they gave LL many scenes even tho she doesn’t really interact with him in the novel to promote the actress
Welp that’s a wrap! They really had to end it in such a manner huh lol. My precious LMX had to die alone on the OTP’s wedding night??? My poor heart. DZY never knew the truth and his story at the end! The novel was sad too but he at least was with DZY and saw the longing flowers with her, and was home with his family.
Anyway the couple got their HE after all the angst and things standing in their way. Altho short and sweet. Heard their are special snippets or eps of their married life and son on youku which you can prob get spoilers online.
Thankful for the cast to pull through despite the imperfect plot and characterization. I enjoyed the discussions and fun rants. Now onto the next drama!
they really stretched out han ye refusing to be with ziyuan and give us a not so satisfying happy ending? we need…
Interesting, I heard they had a son named Han Ning Xi who they named after Anning and LMX - even photos of that scene - perhaps it was cut? Oh looks like it is shown in the extras which from what the other comments say, you have to pay for? Saw some spoiler clips online
LOL ngl I can't wait to finish this hahaha, I thank this forum for keeping me going! Well also because I wanna…
oh I had to look up the title as I haven't heard about it - Yang Chao Yue is the FL! is it a good story? xian xia genres can be a hit or miss from me as they usually have similar storylines
She didn’t do that intentionally, SML is ill and is like family to her. Yes he hs loved her his whole life but…
"The one she loved most in her life was Han Ye, but the one she owed the most was Luo Mingxi." omg my hearttttt. man I really wish they kept that part of the novel where she finds out the truth behind the jade and travels with him to find a cure --> it was quite the moving chapter with the flashback on the day she was born, and of course, the part where she returns to HY's side. I think if they filmed all of this, it would have been much more impactful!
Oh Ep.38... All you remind me of is the patience to cross that finish line.
LOL ngl I can't wait to finish this hahaha, I thank this forum for keeping me going! Well also because I wanna know how they wrap this whole thing up. Just started Lost You Forever so I'm ready to invest in another one.
I wish I didn't read parts of the novel, I feel like all my rants are just because of the comparisons (which I know isn't fair), but let's be real - there were some questionable and unnecessary things that happened in this series. I do look forward to the main cast's new dramas - they did their job to pull this drama through. Love the chemistry - especially in the BTS

well LMX is someone who watched her grow up since birth - the one family member she had after the tragedy. Anyone would grieve over a close family member. I think a lot of ppl read too much into her crying over LMX - it's not only grief but also probably because she felt horrible that he changed plans and chose to save her instead of bring help to Anning (and ended up being punished for it).
She grieved over HY and her fainted, hair turning grey overnight - I think that's pretty telling over the differences in her love between the two men
LMX and Linglang will be forever, together in the afterlife.
Hmm I prefer they stay with the original characterization - his love for Anle is the beauty behind his character. Linlang didnt have this kinda role either as selfish of me as that sounds looool. LMX isnt supposed to die but to return home to his family in jingnan after Anle helps find a treatment
Omg saw spoilers on the weibo site that shows LMX dying at linxianglou after reminiscing about LinLang. He was laying on a bed by himself and fireworks in the background. 😢 that’s not how it should be!!! I love LinLang in the show but feel robbed ofnLMX’s character and how his last scene in the novel played out. DZY should be by his side!
She didn’t do that intentionally, SML is ill and is like family to her. Yes he hs loved her his whole life but…
At the end of the novel, his maid tells her since he is dying. Looks like that may not be the case here since LinLang died and no one else is close enough to know the story. 😭 she deserves to know tho. If he dies in the drama, i hope she is by his side, and not alone 😭
