Take my view with a grain of salt as i didnt read it to its entirety but he was more calm and gentle, less dark than portrayed in the drama (I do like the dark and edgy LMX in the drama tho). Less involved in plans - Anle was the main mastermind and he supported her. Ppl like linlang were reporting to her. But very devoted and cared about her happiness. HY did a lot out of his love for her but LMX’s love was no less. Whether in the drama or novel, Anle is lucky to have LMX by her side on this difficult path
I don't care about this stupid version of the drama but in the novel, he never believed Di clan was guilty and…
Interesting, not sure if he is pretending in the drama and just acting that way. But so far he seems slightly more naive than how ppl describe him in the novel
Well the ball finally started rolling. Been waiting for them to finally touch on the unjust deaths of the Di family. I feel for the main leads, I’m sure it was even more angsty in the novel. Would’ve been easier if they didn’t fall in love, but then, there wouldn’t be much of a story would there 😆.
They have to think of their own families but also care for each other - such difficult positions. But Anle has no choice but to move forward. She cannot live her life before her family’s name is cleared, she seeks justice. I know Hanye and Anning want to protect her but it’s a bit too much to ask her to just live her life as Anle. Anyone in her shoes would feel the need to do something. But ofc, the Han siblings care about their own family too and want to prevent more bloodshed
Drama felt quite draggy for many eps, but was glad to watch the two eps today. I LOVED the regal and powerful aura Anle had when she revealed her identity to Zhong Hai (feel like we missed this aspect of her character in this adaptation). And was moved by Zhong Hai and Zhang Jians testimonies. Getting angsty but excited for the action! I wish the novel was fully translated just to read after the drama ends
I find Han Ye's character to be admirable, given the impossible choices he's being presented with. The problem…
Agree. I sympathize with both of them because they have to think of their own families but also each other. Can’t blame Anle tho, she doesn’t enjoy this but she cannot live her life when her family’s name hasnt been cleared. If Hanye and Anning were in her shoes, they’d prob do the same
Watched todays finally and have to say....this blood feud thing is rather blah. Like yes his grandmother was responsible…
But can’t blame Anle, imagine losing your innocent fam and 80k men in the most cruel way. Hanye and Anning are good people and are not to blame but Anle cannot live her life without clearing their names - which technically isn’t being vengeful, she just seeks justice. It just sucks because they are in love but both main leads have to think about their families too. Ah difficult positions but that’s why it’s a good drama right?
Now we are talking! Let the games begin!Damn, were those the best two episodes of this whole drama or what. Can…
Only skimmed through the episodes and am excited to watch them later today. I knew from yesterday’s preview that the ball will finally start rolling. Been waiting for this! I know HY and Anning want to look out for their family even tho they feel bad but can’t blame Anle for seeking justice (finally).
Just finished ep 22. The main otp sadly have to return to reality, Got excited when the royal siblings verified her identity. The convo between HY and Anle was meaningful, from the valley to the car ride home. Literally had meaning within the words, between the lines. Ready for the game to begin!
I don't know, why dramas that I have high expectations always disappoint me, there are so many dramas that make…
At this point I’m just watching to see how they will manage to wrap this up 😂 i was waiting all yr to watch this because of the star studded cast and promising storyline but…😫 any other drama recommendations?
