Agree. I feel like the action and revenge will be rushed. The drama seems more romance oriented. Even tho it’s supposed to be an epic love story from what I heard in the novel, I think what would’ve made it more fascinating is them showing more substance from the main leads and their capabilities

Yeah, I almost forgot why this whole “crown princess” business was so important. Was this part of the novel?It’s dragging on and I’m worried we won’t have time to cover the more important events. I know they’re trying to show the romantic development between the main leads but it’s almost like a broken record - from talking about the competition to daily reminders that this is revenge

I love LMX! Han Ye is a great guy but I always have second lead syndrome 90% of the time haha. Really hope Reba and Liu Yu Ning can work together again in the future and actually play characters that have a happy ending (unlike The Long Ballad where they were not friendly and this series)

Really? So awful, wasn’t this supposed to be a big budget or highly anticipated series? Yet they had to cut out scenes. It’s really sad when they cut scenes, especially the important ones that support the main plot. The cast and crew work so hard too.

Lol i saw a post somewhere with a leaked script (think it was taken down) that LMX ends up loving LL in the end but she had already died. If it’s true then I’m NOT pleased as I fell for his character because of how he was devoted to one person (Anle) per the novel. Selfish of me since it’s nice if everyone has their own happy ending but cant help it!

That’s a good point. I understand both sides tho, it isn’t right to treat ppl like chess pieces to be discarded but Anle needs to be realistic - revenge will hurt ppl. HY has definitely had a good influence on her. But if she is adamant on revenge, loss is sadly inevitable. LMX has played the bad guy to pave the way for her behind the scenes (he may be in the wrong but I think I’m just more disappointed that Anle seems more dense and less independent in the drama).

I agree. Tbh I don’t find her as cunning or manipulative as I had expected. She has been very conflicted and all I see is her constantly reminding herself of all who died but not much action cuhs she’s now in love with HY. Was hoping for more from her character tbh lol

Loool i was just disappointed that she could even think he did that since they placed a fake one there for a reason. Killing the fake would not be beneficial for Anle - Anle was not thinking rationally

Does the fake DZY get this much “screentime” in the novel? Hope they don’t overdo it in the drama because I’m assuming the novel had a lot more things going on and to be addressed. We only have 39 episodes!
