Title Unstoppable
Ok, the subtitles sucked, BUT it was mostly understandable what is going on. This movie is a gem, loved it! Ma Dong Seok “re-decorated” every film set with his fists, Song Jihyo potrayed the fear and hurt super well and Kim Sung Oh owned the whole thing. He’s super versatile as an actor, I really have only good things to say about him. Overall very enjoyable and I will rewatch it once there are better subs available. Oh and the comedic duo of morons - holy crap, the guy with the black face is cracking me up even now.

If you won’t take it too seriously you will have a good time with this drama. It’s funny, cute and not too long. I wish the ending would be less rushed, I wish there would be more space for the main couple to evolve, but still an enjoyable little drama. What I liked the most is the insane intro to the drama, it feels like you’re about to watch a psychological thriller and then you get Sung Hoon tied up on the floor in sweats yelling he wants a steak. Hilarious.

the 'who's prettier' is deeper than that. It's more abt superficiality and plastic surgery (as quoted from ShotaSidePart)
I understand that was the purpose, but I felt the way it was portrayed was missing substance and therefore also missed the point in my eyes.

I managed to complete this drama, but it was difficult. I understand this will not be a popular opinion and I respect that other people like it, but to me this drama was boring, sometimes to the point that I got annoyed with it. It was funny for 2 minutes in the last episode, otherwise the never ending discussions on who’s pretty and who’s not were driving me crazy. That’s that, if you enjoyed it good for you!

Person Sung Hoon
This guy climbed out of a manga and became an actual person holy shit. Still looks like someone drew him, I have trouble believing he’s real :D

Ridiculous? Yes. Problematic at times due to male lead’s behavior? Also yes. Did it phase me enough to not enjoy this little drama? Nope! It made me laugh, it was cute most of the time, Sung Hoon is some serious eye candy and I am a simple woman :D You might like it, you might hate it, but if it’s the latter at least you won’t spend 20 hours figuring it out.

Title Cheese in the Trap Spoiler
I’m on episode 5 and god help me, the male lead is creeping me out. If the resolution of what’s wrong with…
Ok, so I completed the drama and guys, there’s a lot to unpack here. But this is the comment section so I’ll keep it short: Yoo Jung is one of the most toxic male leads I’ve seen in a while. I have goosebumps just thinking about him. I read the comments on here before I watched it and thought “people, you need to lighten up, this is just a drama and male leads being assholes at first is nothing new”... how wrong I was. He really is so problematic, it’s shocking. Seol deserves so much better than this manipulative sociopath and as it happens often in reality too, even though she knew there was something super wrong with him, she couldn’t stay away. Now I need to also say that I liked the ending - it was so incredibly open that it left the opportunity for me to imagine that these two people have never met again in their lives, which is allowing me to sleep well. I don’t think he would change, I don’t think they could have a healthy relationship. That’s why I decided that after the events of the last episode Seol got romantically involved with In Ho, who’s so sweet he gave me diabetes. Overall it’s a good drama, as I hope that it really conveys the message to viewers how toxic people with Yoo Jung’s traits are.

In case you like your drama with at least a shred of reality this one is NOT for you. It’s no coincidence that people compare it to ‘Boys over Flowers’ (even though let’s be honest, BoF is and always will be the queen drama of absurdity). Now if you’re still interested, this drama is entertaining to some extent, even though I felt it was quite draggy towards the end. Didn’t leave me wishing for more, didn’t make me squeel at all, but I guess I am also not the target audience here. Is absurd drama with handsome heirs your thing? Go for it.

Long story short - this drama is fun. It didn’t sweep me of my feet, but I laughed a lot and that’s the most important part with this genre. Lee Yi Kyung was the main reason for me enjoying it, he’s indeed the best when it comes to delivering a joke, his acting is so sincere I am half convinced the character of Joon Ki is based on his own. What surprised me the most is that repeated jokes are usually not funny, but the way they have been repeatedly used in this drama was cracking me up all the time. Worth the watch :)

good comedy i get that but good romance? anyone?
There was romance indeed, but for the most part the drama was focusing on comedy - that’s at least my opinion. But it was worth the watch, I wasn’t obsessed with it but it made me laugh indeed.

Guys, this is a must-watch. I just finished this drama and I have trouble putting into words why I loved it so…
The only thing I am missing is seeing Se Hee beating the shit out of the assistant director once he found out what he did to Ji Ho! That would be a treat oh my god!

I didn’t watch either of them yet, I just put them on my list! Thank you!! :)

Guys, seriously, give this drama a chance. I had my doubts when I started it and they were not exactly lifted after the first 2-3 episodes, but once I got into it I loved it. It’s cute and sweet and doesn’t make sense here and there, but it really made me smile. Ryu Joon Yeol did a fantastic job in this and I recommend the drama for sure.

You started Scarlet Heart and then made a decision to not finish it? Woah, I am in awe! :) I don’t have enough self control to do that...

Title The Chronicles of Evil Spoiler
The movie is pretty good, there is suspense and a few plot twists, as opposed to many other thrillers it touched…
Aaaaah I knew Park Seo Joon will end up being the bad guy, but the last plot twist was unexpected! He’s so versatile, I seriously love him in everything he does.
