The movie is pretty good, there is suspense and a few plot twists, as opposed to many other thrillers it touched me to some extent. It won’t be my favorite, but worth it.
At first I thought this drama will not be that enjoyable for me - not sure what exactly made me think so, but I was wrong (again...). It was nice and funny and sexy at times, I am not regretting it at all. The leads had very good chemistry and the plot was simple so that I could focus solely on the romance. With that said I will jump to my favorite topic: Park Seo Joon. This man didn’t disappoint me once I swear! I loved all his work until now and mind you, I am looking into pretty much everything he’s ever worked on. He just manages to swipe me off my feet every time he’s on screen, god help me I don’t know what it is about him that is giving me the feels.
Disclaimer: This is a Park Seo Joon drama and therefore whatever I write, I cannot be objective. You have been…
I’m kind of sorry that the ending happened to be a bit inconsistent, with little space to let the audience follow the leads. I feel a bit stuck on the events before the last three episodes. The finale was not as grand as I would have wished, which is a shame. The marriage felt rushed, Ae Ra’s decision to stop Dong Man from fighting through breaking up with him felt out of character, the fact that he would still fight in the future and her looking the other way was nonsensical. The whole mother story was not necessary I feel, unless the makers would give it enough space to unfold which they didn’t. It’s a shame, but I am sure I will rewatch this one, at least the first half of it.
Disclaimer: This is a Park Seo Joon drama and therefore whatever I write, I cannot be objective. You have been warned. This drama surprised me on several levels. I avoided it for some time even though I wanted to watch all of Park Seo Joon’s dramas, as I felt that for some reason this won’t be my cup of tea. How wrong I was, whoa! I love it, especially the first half of it. I laughed so hard I couldn’t breathe, especially since the acting style of Park Seo Joon is a delight (his take on acting out a simpleton is pretty much the funniest thing I’ve seen in a while), plus the comedy scenes were written and directed so well (! great music choices too!) that I had to replay them over and over again. I recommend this drama, the only reason it’s not a 10/10 for me is the rushed ending that just didn’t leave a sense of fulfillment in my soul. Oh and very important: As it’s the case with pretty much all of Park Seo Joon’s dramas, he spends a significant amount of time being shirtless here as well. That, ladies and gentlemen, is a gift from gods. This guy, holy frick.
Disclaimer: I (and I can’t stress this enough) LOVE Park Seo Joon and I am rarely objective when it comes to his work so take this with a grain of salt.
This was a great, super hilarious movie! It’s very kmovie style, to connect the most ridiculous comedy moments with a horrendous topic such as human trafficking. It miraculously works for me, I laughed my pants off and it kept me on edge. Park Seo Joon is one of the few korean actors that make me laugh just because of his facial expressions and the tone of his voice. Kang Ha Neul is amazing as well, delivering results worthy of Seo Joon’s partner in comedy and fighting. I am recommending this wholeheartedly, even though I am a sucker for romance usually, this still impressed me. Good job guys :)
I really loved this drama! My opinion on it might be impacted by the fact that I binge watched the hell out of it, but in general: The comedy was great, it made me laugh a lot, the love story was super cute and the acting was good as well. Hwang Jung Eum is not everyone’s cup of tea, but I know her well enough by now to not be annoyed by her acting style. SJ’s Siwon surprised me with his acting, I am cautios when it comes to idols acting but he did really well. And then there’s Park Seo Joon - god knows I love him dearly and he makes me squeal like a teenager. He didn’t disappoint again, his expressions are my favorite thing in kdrama land right now. Overall I am super happy I watched this, it was a feel good drama for me that delivered.
It took me a while to start this drama due to the bad reviews I’ve seen on here. I was actually pleasantly surprised! I love both Park Seo Joon and Park Hyung Shik, so this was a treat for me. It’s true that the story lacks here and there and it could have been shorter, but this drama honestly entertained me. And god help me, Park Seo Joon has lots of sex-appeal, his acting is amazing and he won me over even more than before. Liked it :)
It was a very nice movie, heartbreaking and very well done. My only problem with it was the the bitter sweet ending. As said in the movie itself, I really think that the female lead would again encounter mental issues due to the changes in the male lead. And to be honest, I also think it would have been better for her to stay away and deal with the heartbreak as opposed to risking the mental health problems. I am saying this as someone who’s familiar with mental disorders and I can see what impact this situation could have on a human being’s psyche. Still, the movie was very sweet and I am recommending it.
Hey there, just wanted to suggest to mark this comment as spoiler, I read it before I watched the drama and knew…
No worries, from what I've seen in the drama it would be pretty clear very early that she won't end up with the human either way :) And as I still had a broken heart from a drama where the main lead didn't end up with the robot, your comment made me watch it faster I guess :D
So much potential! I was really looking forward to this and it would have been totally awesome if the plot didn't…
Now for some spoilers: As a person living in Czech Republic this drama catapulted me to the moon right from the start :D I'm just sorry I didn't know about the shooting in Karlovy Vary, dammit. The male lead is some major eye candy I swear, I wish though we would get to see more focus on his emotions evolving - like we've seen with jealousy, I would have wished to see more of his internal dialogue on this ("why am I acting like this?" type of thing). I am super happy that the female lead ended up with the robot, this healed the painful void Zettai Kareshi left behind in my soul. I really hope for more supernatural dramas in the future, as they seem to be my all time favorites in the end.
So much potential! I was really looking forward to this and it would have been totally awesome if the plot didn't solely move based on someone overhearing something they were not supposed to and if it didn't contain some really significant plot holes. I didn't get the sense of fulfillment at the end of this, the ending felt rushed, but it's really worth the watch. I might be biased as this topic is close to my heart, but I still recommend this one.
I loved this, really. Very light and sweet, far from realistic in many ways but I had to binge watch it. I recommend this little gem, it’s just so cute.
I am a bit surprised by the high rating of this one. It's not that it's a bad drama, the plot is good and the main leads are cute, but I thought there were way too many flashbacks, way too much silent staring into each others eyes, way too many "are you ok?" and "I'm sorry". This could have been a 120 minutes movie and not much would get lost to be honest. It had potential, but unfortunately it didn't touch me too much.

Guys, if anyone has his phone number by any chance, help a sister out, ok? ;)
Still, the movie was very sweet and I am recommending it.
