There is thin line between fan and toxic fan. so don't cross that line just appreciate your favorite actor or…
As this post address both the sides, I agree. But to be honest I am yet to find a post which personally targeted NJH or KSH.
Most of the comments are about DS & JP, followed by appreciation comments about KSH.
I acknowledge that people were disappointed in NJH's acting & his chemistry with Suzy. But that is nowhere toxic. He is young & is just at the starting phase of his acting career. He needs honest feedback to improve.
As I didn't come across any other type of comments about NJH or KSH, I think its safe to say that we already respect each other. MDL is nowhere near to being toxic & we should be proud about that.
Guys really sorry for my essay but I need to share my POV. The problem with this drama is when they decided to…
"All this to say that the JP equation didn't need to be added to their story, he could have stayed friends with both of them. But the fact that the characters in DM and DS have lost value and quality has made JP shine more brightly."
Completely agree with this statement. But in my POV, DS-DM's relationship seems more like a fan service.
Grandma told JP that he is not yet well settled as he doesn't have a family. So it is hinted that the character arc of JP is complete when he is a part of a family.
If not, then we can say that there was no real development for his character as he just reached his career milestones. The thing he longed for the most his is to be loved & to experience the warmth of having a family. It may seem ordinary to us but it is a precious dream that even he is not sure if he has the right to dream.
It doesn't have to be DM but I wish they give him a happy ending. Why do they want to make him the loneliest person on the planet ? I just want him to find someone whom he can think of when he is in trouble. A person who can share his worries & joy. A person he can trust, lean on & ask for help.

Behind all the complex theories & confident slogans we always had a faint voice at the back of our minds reminding us about the reality.
But we choose to ignore it to achieve the indisputable status of "The greatest Clowns in the history of K-dramas" >.>
Even now we refuse to back down. At this rate we might aim for the lifetime achievement award in the 'Clowns' category.
I don't think any other drama in the near or far future can crush our heart as mercilessly as this one. Even if an other one comes up, we have the experience, so it wouldn't hurt more.
Now, I want to ask the writer "Did you have fun fooling us all this time ? Don't say you're sorry. Just say that this story is fake & what we believe was real".
Some people are saying that the letters don't hold any meaning as JP wrote them with Grandma. But if we observe carefully, DM loved everything about the letters.
She said that the handwriting was beautiful, his grammar was perfect & that she could feel his gentleness through his words (way before he expressed it through his gestures).
He shared some of his inner thoughts that even he himself never acknowledged in the letters. This shows his sincerity & explains why the left a deep impression on DM's heart.
So regardless of the endgame, I think we have to acknowledge that the letters were earnest & genuine.
As much as Id like HJP to end up with Dal mi, I think there are not enough episodes to make this happen. The storyline…
True. When he told Grandma that everything was going well for him & he was successful in life, she told him that since he is not married, he is still not successful.
If they didn't intend to give him a family at the end, why did they create this scene ?
I don't think this "twist" to his name was intended since "letter" is "pyeonji" and not "pyeongji".
But isn't it too accurate to say that it's a coincidence ?
Maybe the purpose of his character is to convey the message of the writer to DM in the form of letters. So he is literally the letter to DM from the writer.
did the comment session died after surpassing iontbo?
Let's all meet again while watching a good drama where we can 'focus' on the plot & 'actually enjoy' watching the show.
This one is too painful as it feel like I'm watering a dead plant.
Even if they somehow show that JP is all smiles in the end after playing the cupid for the leads, I still can't take it.
He has been struggling from the day he was born & finally when he finds people he can call 'family' & a place he can call 'home', you want to kick him back into the rain again.
Even a melodrama doesn't have such a heart wrenching character. I feel betrayed as I didn't see this coming. Why didn't they at least warn us about this ?
When netizens took away the sound from this particular clip... the scene turned into a key moment right out of a youth romance drama, starring the handsome and supportive male lead (Kim Sun Ho) and the slightly dense, but lovable female lead (Kim Jong Min)!
I feel pity for all haters who commented about the actor below..You tried hard to hide your hate under "we're…
I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting your favorite actors to play a role you feel they would do well.
Even actors themselves are asked in various interviews if there is dream role they want to play or is there a character which they think they would have portrayed better.
NJH is good as DS. But there are actors who could have been better or worse as DS.
We can't read the script so we only get to see what the actors show us. Even if the story is the same, the emotions change depending on the storytellers narration. (Ex - Audio books)
If I prefer a cover song more than the original, it doesn't mean that the original one was bad. It's just that I could feel the emotions of the song better in a different version.
Many singers re-interpret their favorite songs. If they liked the original, why are they changing it ? Are they hypocrites ? No. It's just a matter of personal preference & individuality.
Everyone has a different perspective & we all have a different palette of emotions. Let's respect that fact.

This drama is definitely not for the faint hearted (*me*)
If they didn't intend to give him a family at the end, why did they create this scene ?
Maybe the purpose of his character is to convey the message of the writer to DM in the form of letters. So he is literally the letter to DM from the writer.
Or he is the letter which connects DM-DS.
This one is too painful as it feel like I'm watering a dead plant.

I don't know about the theory but we definitely need the tissues ˚‧º·(˃̣̣∩˂̣̣)‧º·
If it's too much to wish for a happy ending, then ok - just don't make JP cry till the end.
How many times will you break a broken heat ? At this point you can say that it is heart crushing ( ˃̣̣̥᷄n˂̣̣̥᷅)(˃̣̣̥o˂̣̣̥)
I always felt that this name was unique but I didn't expect the writer to give the name such an interesting twist.
Despite the ending, I am grateful to her for giving us a character like JP & making Kim Seon Ho popular.
And Ravi was like "Hyung, just 5 min back that guy was teasing & trashing you. Why are you helping him ?"
Seon Ho was like "He was looking pitiful running around. How could I not help him ?"
The rest of the members were just shaking their heads in disbelief.
But I think it has more to do with the match sponsors than the coach.
It would be perfect for him. ^^
Especially since he wanted to try a role which had a different Korean accent.
