This drama was brilliant and deserving of a much higher rating on here. A chilling psychological thriller that I couldn't stop watching. And some of the best acting performances I've seen in a long while. This gets a 10/10 from me.
Cute movie with a nice message. I liked this one a lot. Watch if you want to see something light and fluffy with a fl that shows character growth. 9/10
Dang this episode was scary, but in a good way. This whole series had me on the edge of my seat! I trusted no one, not even the cops. And the plotlines are definitely set up for a season 2 I think. 10/10
Three episodes in, and I've now fallen hard for this drama haha. Funny, sweet, touching moments, and great chemistry with the two main leads. Who could ask for more?
Agawa I believe has a savior complex, which is probably why he chose to be a cop. He could see it as his duty…
Agreed, I was thinking that too. Agawa makes for a fascinating main character. He's not the stereotypical good guy hero type. He's imperfect and unpredictable.
I like how this drama is different from the usual, but its hard to get over how stupid the main husband and wife…
Agawa I believe has a savior complex, which is probably why he chose to be a cop. He could see it as his duty or purpose to bring down the "evil" Goto family and save the town. He also seems to have a problem with authority and can't stomach someone or in this case a family having more power than him. So his boss warning him would if anything make him pursue further. Agawa's wife even says that he's enjoying chasing after the Goto family too much. He's also rash and has a huge ego, he's the law after all and everyone should follow his orders, so it must eat him up that nobody in that village respects or listens to him. Just my observation..
The most by chance encounters I've ever seen in a single episode. I lost count at 6, but it was probably around 10. Ml runs into fl everywhere, in the populated city of Tokyo no doubt. I'm surprised he didn't run into her in the men's bathroom.
I'm sure fl was meant to be the quirky "manic pixie" not like other girl's trope, but she came across as a simpleton and unstable. Ml is very vanilla with zero personality. I can also see from this 1st ep. a lot of side characters/stories emerging that I wouldn't give 2 craps about.
I've come to the conclusion that these newer 1hr romance slice of life dramas are just not my cup of tea.
Also, Daigo's daughter is just as creepy as the villagers in my opinion. I know she is just a kid but yeah. She's got an eerie aura about her and is all too happy to be surrounded by dangerous people/beings. And Yuki annoyed me a bit when she was acting like Daigo was crazy and overreacting about being bugged. I think in this episode she started to see how scary the people in the town are though.
10/10
