Same, he was the best character on the show in my opinion.

Perfect ending would have been if Misaki left her husband and his boyfriend and ran off with the cute photographer.

I also liked the tone of the show and for the first half of the series was rating it a 10/10 in my mind. It all fell flat for me when the"boyfriend" character came in to the picture.

On the contrary, I actually like characters like his that are not bland or boring. I'm always looking for an ulterior motive though and Shuhei might have one. Like I said before it's just a guess and I think it is quite possible that he's conning the hell out of the gullible married couple. We'll see..

LMAO! They are missing in action in this comment section. Probably ran away from this drama like the plague, clutched their pearls, and rewatched "True Beauty" for the umpteenth time.😂

Lol enlighten me then. I could be wrong of course, but he's a guy that feels it's okay to mess with a married man even after he knows the wife is his ex teacher. He seems to feel no remorse for the pain he has caused his former teacher or current girlfriend.

He's getting free food, doesn't have to pay rent, and is being referred to a famous manga artist. He already was bumming off of that girl he doesn't like and staying at her place. He uses people under the guise of love. This is just my guess. And I really feel sad for Misaki in this situation. She's obviously hurt but still loves her husband.

Just finished the 5 episodes released and omg! I think blondie is pulling a scam on this married couple.

Talk about a mother and ex husband from hell! Seriously, I feel so bad for Ono, and Mitsui too. I'm really liking this drama though. I'm invested!

By the looks of it, I'm in the minority with not caring for this drama. I found it very boring. First half was interesting and then it lost me on the second half with whole episodes dedicated to unlikable pushy side characters. Odd ending as well. It just seemed like the main characters could have been fleshed out more.

Rating: 5/10

Saw the plot twist from a mile away. There were hints in the beginning if you notice them. Nice movie that had mystery and a tinge of creepiness.

A very nice slice of life series. Slow paced and sentimental. I liked all the characters, which is rare for me. I loved this drama and feel it has a high rewatch value.
