This is getting better and better - I wasn't sure about it in the first few episodes.

I don't have much hope for these 2 kingdoms to survive. Neither royal family is cutting it at this point.

I have iqiyi, so that's where I've been watching.

I think the first half was really strong. This second half so far is where a lot of the crazy stuff has been happening lol.

It's definitely entertaining. If you don't mind soap opera levels of melodrama and some over-the-top music choices and acting, the plot will keep you engaged. It hasn't finished airing yet, so I can't say if it will end well.

It's because there are so many other poop characters out there. I'm glad she's fighting back, but I think she's too reckless. I guess she's desperate at this point.

Yes, it's a rollercoaster. Bad guys and good guys are flip flopping - actually, everyone is probably just crazy. Except a few characters.

I need the rest of the episodes so I can just put myself out of misery and see how it all ends.

The majority of these characters are in desperate need of psychiatric help. Backstabbing crazies all of them. I hope FSG and FYX escape into the sunset at the end and leave behind two kingdoms that are pure dumpster fires as far as leadership is concerned. I know the responsible thing would be to help, but man, I think they've done enough.

His story has really lost momentum in this second half. We'll see in the last 8 eps.

Yes, that whole scene got a bit wild and anachronistic. Too many crazies in both royal families.

Oh yes, the actor is terrific. I want to see how more crazy we can get. Looks like the princess is going to take after him and go cray cray soon too based on those previews.

Yeah I saw your comment lol. I’m usually ok with suspending disbelief in these types of period idol dramas, but when Yixiao started berating the emperor, I just had to laugh, it’s too ridiculous. She is right though. Emperor is nuts too, which is a shame because I liked the actor’s performance so far - layered and complicated. But unfortunately so nuts apparently.

Umm...whoa. The script has turned into crazy mode. Wonder how this is going to end. It would be a shame for things to really go off the rails, but everyone (besides the leads) seems to have gone INSANE.

Once she recovers her memories, her two personas merge into one, and I think it’s a bit less jarring and cutesy. I encourage you to stick with it because it’s one of the best of the year in my opinion - such a positive message of learning to forgive and learning to love.

He was great there too; I really enjoyed that drama.

I remember CZY in handsome siblings. That’s literally all I’ve seen of him until this drama. I agree his acting is pretty good - he’s not my type of handsome but he makes a great Feng Suige in this drama.
