I was completely disinterested in the dragon girl’s story. I was looking at the images, not focusing, that I…
Yes, I feel that dragon girl and Rumu’s story already ran its course, or it should have ended with Rumu’s father being defeated…except he isn’t yet, which was the first major failing of this script.
I did it, made it through ep 27, and you all weren't lying. I almost couldn't do it because of that creepy, ick QC. And WHY is Quan Jingting still able to plot things from his little prison cell? And who the heck is this Gulizan all of a sudden? Ugh, this script has lost focus. I need Fugui and Qingtong to join forces like yesterday and clean up this mess. Or maybe they really just need to leave far far far away and let this world just burn.
Just literally started this show.. im on episode 3ish.. i am seriously lost and confused lolol what is happening?!…
She wants to investigate the truth behind her father’s death - how the Northern Qi army got designs for a new weapon that was designed in Sui (her country). The way she goes about it is to infiltrate the ML’s family and use his resources/connections. It’s an overused plot device and it’s not really working for me, but at least by ep 12 ish ML knows about it. I haven’t gotten much past that point, so if any other viewers know of any more developments, they can chime in.
Chu Yu is a bit high and mighty (I'm only at ep 11) - I get that she's on a mission to find out the truth, but she's going about it in a very reckless way. Hopefully she learns to trust and not only how to use people.
Congratulations to Deng Wei! At the recent Weibo Conference, he won 3 awards for Love of the Divine Tree: Most Popular Film and Television Character of the Year (Su Yishui), Most Popular TV Series of the Year, and Most Popular Original Work of the Year
I'm impatient. PLEASE SPOIL IT MEEEEE. i'm just on episode 10.1. When does the FL bring back her memories?2. Will…
I forget the exact episode when all her memories come back, but it is definitely not in the last 5 episodes. They work together during most of the drama, and it's a very satisfying ending - not the last minute reunion stuff that is typical of xianxia lol. There is no exact break up ever, but there are obstacles to their love along the way (the second ML, memory loss for both leads, etc).
The supporting actors' stories are actually also quite compelling, so while the leads' love story takes time to develop and end happily, I feel the rest of the story is very engaging. I never found myself skipping stuff, even with the second male lead doing typical second male lead stuff lol.
