Yes, Yin Gezhi is definitely gray in the novel - I hope to some extent that complexity is preserved in the drama. And honestly, Fengyue is not innocent either - she knows how to use him and others too. That's probably what I like the most from their dynamic - both strong and know exactly what they want and work towards their goals, which ultimately align in the end.

It’s a remake of the French show La Mante. If you like films like Silence of the Lambs, you’d probably like this one. The writing isn’t the greatest, and some of the characters aren’t constructed in the fullest way, but the female lead is amazing to watch.
