Yeah it’s solidly written. Also the process of finding one’s path can be full of twists and turns. The cycle of death and rebirth mirroring the process we often find ourselves in remaking ourselves endlessly in search of something better or truer to our real selves.

Yeah, I think they had great chemistry in that show (not necessarily romantic).

Ugh Ye Bingchang, hated her, didn't feel like she deserved Xiao Lin's genuine love for her. I also enjoyed the mortal arc best because Bai Lu and Luo Yunxi's characters were more interesting there.

I'm eager to see how this amnesia arc works out. Ostensibly, everything is back to the beginning. But things are also vastly different. MQG is now XRR. SYS, although still the demon/devil's child, does not have that Spirit Spring thing in him anymore. His Dad is gone, but now there's the evil trifecta of Su Yu, MRW and Dun Tian. Lots of mirroring, yin/yang stuff going on in the storytelling - not surprising given the genre.

I sometimes feel like MDL is buggy...who knows.
