we all have different preferences. I don't need a big storyline, I am enjoying it has it is. It's a pretty simple watch. Makes me smile, laugh, good acting and chemistry. Abo Desire pretty much bore me, cringe at time, etc... amoung other things. Khemjira is okay, but not much into it. I am not watching the other one, I just know it's not for me

no, they aren't any other airing right now. there are upcoming dramas, but nothing has a date, we don't know when they will come out. I am not that good with the genre, but some upcoming :
1) I think these are wuxia : blood river, Zhan Zhao adventures

2) Xianxia : Love in the clouds, the boundless bright moon, Blossom in darkness, pull strings, Gu Lu Feng Hua Lu

3) these I am not sure about which categorie : Fate chooses you, the unclouded souls, veil of shadows, fox spirit Matchmakers : sword and beloved

I think this is an IQIYI original, I really doubt it would be on Netflix. IQIYI original usually only airs on IQIYI

sad ending, but it fits the story 💔 I was honestly surprised, when they showed the flashback and I realized he lied about the fake death, actually wanted real poison to die… I said out loud you gotta to be kidding me😅😅I hate sad ending, but I cannot be mad at it when I feel like it makes totally sense. happy ending and them leaving together was impossible after everything that happened

but we can say bittersweet end since they meet in the afterlife and now free

one drama this year -Si Jin-, they end up at the end on the throne. ML becomes the emperor at the end and FL the empress. I have some other dramas in mind, but not much and they are older dramas

definitely, I was let down by the ending. I was like why did they -abandonned- their countries ? feel like it didn't make sense after their families died and they were like left to protect the countries. I don't know how to explain ahah I have also watched years ago

I get what you mean, Netflix is definitely annoying with their cancelling, but many kdrama on Netflix are not even done by Netflix, they just air on it (which makes it available for us international viewers, most kdrama air on TV channel), just like Beyond the Bar. They are produced by Korean compagnies and air on TV channel. It's not up to Netflix if It's not a original drama they made

for normal lenght drama like this (around 40 min per ep. for some short drama too), normally yes. the number of episodes depends of the plateform and how it works too (like paying extra). there can be some exception

it's not up to Netflix anyway, this is a JTBC drama not Netflix. But don't think we'll get another season too but we never know🤷‍♀️
