Really!? How weird, her hair is even tied into a braid which means she is not married / has never been married. Married women / widows has their hair tied up.

She hasn’t been married, if she was a widow she would never be able to remarry, it was not allowed for women to do that during Joseon dynasty . She is even called Maiden.

Is it true that the makers of this drama said Jang Hyun and Gil Chae will sacrifice a lot for each other? We kmow Jang Hyun has already sacrificed a lot, but so Gil Chae will too?? Hopefully 😍

Yeah i would hate that so Much if it happened. Since its Joseon era, she wouldnt be able to divorce her husband ever , and even if he died she could never still marry Jang Hyun , because women during Joseon were never allowed to remarry. ..

This drama is pointing more towards a sad ending, it kinda foreshadowing that. But it might surprise us, a happy ending is not impossible… there are after all serious historical romance dramas out there with happy endings. And the screenwriter of this drama has her previous historical serious dramas ending happily. But I’m still prepared for tragic ending in this drama, at least I try to be prepared 🥲

Another amazing ep, and FINALLY Gil Chae moved on from Yeon Jun and realized her love for Jang Hyun, she has fallen so deeply in love! 😍
