If this drama keep the same high quality until the end it might end up becoming my most favorite romance historical kdrama , it might take ”The Princess’ Man’s” place.. so far i have not loved Another romantic historical Kdrama as much as the Princess man’ , which i watched back in 2011 for the first time

That was the first thing I Did as well when i Woke up , sad .. but Yeah there is still hope for the ratings to increase

Yeah , I was sooo impressed with Gil Chae, I know she would mature but not mature THIS much - just wow. Can’t wait to see her fall deeply in love with Jang Hyun. I hope after this , the other women wont ever again look down on Chil Chae… because if they Do - i’ll be furious xD after watching ep 4 i now love Gil Chae and she might come to be one of my favorite female leads in dramaland

I’m gonna make mom watch this drama , even tho she hates reading english sub (english is not our native language and our native language hasn’t been subbed.. its a small language) , but I can’t let her miss out a masterpiece like this! After all she loves game of thrones and outlander

Those old ladies were so annoying saying that women should commit suicide if they had been raped / almost raped. I get it, its set in 1600s Where women’s virginity meant everything .. but me with modern mindset still was sooo pissed xD

And the death of the old couple made me sob, at least they got to die together ❤️ and i was so touched when the grandma risked her life for the grandpa… they truly loved each other 🥹

It sadden me that a masterpiece like this get pretty low ratings , while mediocre dramas such as King The Land get such high ratings… (don’t kill me, king the land fans , its just my opinion )

Ep 4 = a masterpiece. I’m SO proud of Chil Chae, she is sooo strong! Finally she matured! 😍and Jang Hyun wow - he’s such a good fighter! Saturday please come fast!!

Yes, most sageuks nowdays are very silly / lighthearted, its sad.. i mean , i don’t mind those kind of sageuks but would be nice for some variety😅

Can anyone recommend me a romantic sageuk while waiting for new episodes of this. I prefer more serious/darker sageuks, nothing childish .. i prefer mature. But I take What I get .. i love a intense, deep love story (main genre doesn’t have to be romance ), my favorite romantic sageuk so far is The Princess’ Man.

No one Will throw Stones at you for this , many agrees with you i believe . I also prefer it when its more serious:)

Yes Gone With the Wind is a epic classic, but didnt like how they made Scarlett so obsessed with the other dude until towards the end, and that she didnt realize her love for Rhett until like the last 15 min or so of the movie xD but it was too late by then lol ..and yes both Scarlett and Rhett was too problematic

I hope they wont make Gil Chae being obsessed about the SML for 90% of the drama , and I hope (and THINK) she Will mature a lot because of war .. its been a long time ago i watched gone with the Wind but as far as i remember not even war made Scarlett mature

It has a lot in common with Gone the Wind :) but one of the differences is that Gil Chae has never been married … i’m not sure , but as far as I remember Rhett is Scarlett’s second or third husband. Makes sense Why they didnt make Gil Chae a widow , since widows in Joseon era was never allowed to remarry , or at least it was a huge taboo .. as Jang Hyun Said in ep 3, if widows remarries their children Will be discriminated/seen as outcasts in society .. however if a widower remarries, there is no problems at all

Yes, definitely deserves higher ratings but at least it has gone up from last weeks episodes !:) The first thing i Do tmr when i wake up is look up the rating for ep 4 :)

Its pretty cool Jang Hyun has come to care about Gil Chae so much despite the way she treats him + he knows she’s in love with Yeon Jun. I mean , in next ep he will go back to village just to save her! I wouldn’t waste my time caring for her if I was him xD but, it IS romantic indeed *swoon* and I really ship them together , I love their banter so much!
